I am writing this review purely based on my experience even before availing the services at Shiloh Nails & Spa. Key concern - not sure why the salons/spas are now providing such abysmal customer experience. Is it coz they have too much business already and couldn't be bothered or, is it now a trend that be inhospitable and stern to the brink of rudeness, customers can choose if they like it or not. How - I was introduced to the place by Yelp during one of their Events - we played some games & got an option to try regular Mani or Pedi services. Service - Though I stay quite far, I thought to try the facial at Shiloh. I called the number given on Google, last Monday (04/20/26). The lady taking the call was rather rude and aggressive. After our conversation and on something she was to let me know, she said I "will get back to you when I can"!. I till date have not received a call back from either her or anyone else at Shiloh. This person was not aware about the type of facials but she was still trying to give half baked information, half heartedly and that too in a tone (trust me) no one would want to hear or continue speaking with if calling a salon or spa. Mostly people visit these places to relax their mind; not to add stress to themselves. This conversation proved anything but helpful or calming; quite the opposite of what one expects. Post such an experience, the next day I went ahead and booked the facial with another spa. Fast forward, I saw on Yelp the Shiloh owner having provided a phone number and email to contact directly. Instead of choosing to call up directly, I thought to leave her a short text message letting her know that I saw the number on Yelp and wanted to discuss about a recent experience. No response from the owner too. Wondering - I really would like to understand why the front desk customer service quality, responsiveness of businesses and the overall attitude is getting so dismal by the day. Why can't someone sitting at the front desk be courteous/polite even if she is not knowledgeable or doesn't care to understand the services being offered by her place of work (it's understandable if she din know about the Yelp event as it was a long time ago but that too can be responded to nicely, why react? [It was told to her to let her know how I got to know about their spa - was meant as a help; since everyone these days like to ask how anyone got to know about their business]). I've been looking for a new nail salon to try out and I wanted to get a gel manicure and pedicure for an upcoming baby shower and Easter!! So I did some research and saw what great reviews Shiloh Nails has. I went to get my nails done here last week on Wednesday. I made an appointment online which was nice. I arrived 10 min before my appt and it was pretty quiet in there. I was not greeted by front desk or anyone who worked there , which was weird, but read the sign and it said to go sign in on the iPad. A hello or welcome in would have been nice though. As new customer I didn't know about the sign in policy. I waited almost 10-15min past my appt time until the front desk woman brought me back to my chair and started the water for me. The nail tech came eventually and sat down but did not look at me , say hi, acknowledge, smile, nothing until a few minutes in to working on my feet, I got a curt hello. I chose a solid gel color for my toes. Shortly after, another tech came to do my "manicure". She did it at the same time as my toes were being done. Normally I don't mind that, but it was uncomfortable because she sat on my right side and then when she needed my left hand, I had to turn my back and reach over to bring it to her on the right side. So I couldn't really sit back and relax or enjoy the massage chair. I just felt physically uncomfortable the whole time. I didn't get hand massage or really much done to my nails before the polish at all The techs weren't super friendly or nice either. It just all felt awkward. Total time in the chair was about 40mins for everything. I had an idea for my fingernails and chose a different solid color for each of my fingernails. Kinda like a bunch of Easter eggs. I didn't realize until I paid that I was charged extra to do a different color on each nail. I've done that in the past at other spots and never been charged. I understand if there is a design , that would cost extra but it was all solid color. I wasn't, and wouldn't, normally say anything because I don't like to cause issues or complain. It is what it is. Total what I paid, with tip, was $120 for a gel pedicure and manicure. But what prompted this review was an accumulation of all of the above AND was that on Sunday , 4 days later, the gel nail polish on 4 of my fingernails started to chip and peel. I've gotten gel nail polish many many times in the past and done it myself at home and it has always stayed on for 2 weeks MINIMUM! Im a stay at home mom with limited funds and very rarely get to do things like this for myself. I'm super bummed because I wanted nice nails for Easter and the fact that I paid $50 for nails that are chipping and look crappy 4 days later. And just overall had a disappointing experience. Like I said I'm not one to complain to write bad reviews hardly ever, and Their reviews are clearly pretty good and I hope that it was just a one off experience. read more

Shiloh Nails & Spa is my go-to salon, and Vi is my go-to Girl! Love Vi, owner Tracy, manager Cindy, the lovely ladies at the front desk, and so many other members of the friendly staff. It's a large salon and they are always busy! Definitely make an appointment by phone or through the Fresha app, and be clear if you want add-on services so they can allot enough time! Tracy has owned the salon for 10 years, so that says something, and she recently invested in all new pedicure chairs, among other things. The chairs are very comfortable, the services and color choices are plentiful, and everything feels clean. I always get the standard pedicure and gel manicure, keeping it exciting occasionally with chrome or nail art on my fingernails. I haven't ventured into the world of acrylics or cat eye, but love seeing other people get playful with their nails. Ever since I came here for a Yelp Elite event, I haven't went anywhere else and I live in Santa Rosa. Beautiful and elegant nail salon with plenty of pedicure seating and manicure spaces. They offer drinks on a regular basis, but yesterday I came in for their 9 year anniversary and they had egg rolls, fruit and other delicious appetizers. I love this place cause they offer a wide variety of pedicure options. I usually get the deluxe pedicure which has oils, exfoliating creams & more. To top it off they give you a nice, long massage. Other places I've gone to, their massages are less than 2 minutes. Tracey, the owner, is very sweet and inviting. When she's not working on a manicure, she's walking around asking how is everyone doing. Love that she engages with us. Went to Shiloh for the first time as I'm looking for a new nail salon since I've moved to the area recently. I was with my last salon for over 20 years. One of the reasons I chose Shiloh was they have 4.1 stars and a lot of positive reviews. When I entered there were 2 women at the reception helping other customers. Not once was I greeted and when it came my turn, not even a hello. I was told to sign in on an iPad which I did. I got an acrylic fill in the most rushed manner (she spent a half an hour tops) from a nail technician named Jennie. She kept pulling on my hands aggressively telling me to "relax, relax"! The nail technicians are so busy talking and interacting with each other that barely a word was said to me. They were annoyed when I wanted to look at nail color choices. The salon is busy and you are literally crammed in their nail chairs side-by-side next to other customers practically touching shoulder to shoulder. Not happy with my service, I'm sure they don't need my business as the place was packed and very noisy. Not conducive to a relaxing treatment. I was going to get a pedicure too but decided to skip it. All this for $55.00 plus a $10 tip which I regret. I hope the manager/owner will be open to my feedback. read more

I went in to a different salon for a fill 2 days ago and gave them a picture to reference of what I wanted and they did horribly. I came in to Shiloh Nails today to have it fixed, gave them the same photo and they did a spot on job of exactly what I wanted! Danny was so detail oriented and went above and beyond to make sure it's what I wanted down to the exact shade of blue. The word that came to mind when I walked in was "Luxury" vibe. Okay I finally gave this place a try and I gotta say I LOVE it! I love the EASE of the app (Fresha) they use when booking a future appointment -it truly walks you through the entire "what are you looking for" aspect of your upcoming appointment so you know EXACTLY how much you're "probably" gonna pay -which is nice after coming from another nail salon in town where I felt it was "what's the SAME thing gonna be THIS time" Russian roulette approach. I have ONLY ever picked "any professional" when it comes to choosing who I want my nails done by and I've never been disappointed by the service, the professionalism or the overall result. Also it's NO BIG DEAL to reschedule -just do it in a timely manner (up to two hours before the appointment) and they won't bat an eye. As a busy mom to even BUSIER kids this has been INCREDIBLY WONDERFUL. The feeling of being "judged" when having to reschedule OFTEN is never fun.... And it's nice to have a place that doesn't do it! I really want to love this place. It's clear the technicians work so hard and are very good at their jobs, but they are scheduled to the minute so it feels like they are very rushed. Also, If you don't show up at least 10 minutes early they RUSH you to your seat and don't even let you look at all the colors to fit you into the packed schedule. Because of this both times I have been here I've had subpar manicures/pedicures. I don't want to fault the wonderful ladies who work so hard, this is a management issue. I got my nails done 4 days ago, my toes have already chipped and my nails look like they've grown out for two weeks. They were so rushed they didn't paint my nails to the edge, just filled in the middle and called it good. I would not recommend this place. I recently moved to Sonoma County and came across this nail salon in search of a new place closer to home. I'm very impressed with the quality and service that Tracy provides with my nails. I enjoy doing fun designs for my nails and Tracy not only delivers but elevates and exceeds my expectations every time. She makes great recommendations for what will look nice on my nails and has expertise in this field. It is easy to book an appointment online and they honor appointment times. I have been to many nail salons where you are kept waiting regardless if you have made an appointment and I have not had that issue here. They offer one complimentary beverage champagne, red or white wine, and of course water or tea. I enjoy drinking a glass of champagne while relaxing and getting my nails done. Owner is nice but most of the employees could be nicer. Nobody greets you when you get there, the front desk girls tell you to check in and choose your color without even saying hi. The people doing your nails ask no questions whatsoever! Horrendous experience. My friend and I went in for a basic manicure and pedicure. The salon was very slow, enough so to where we each had one person doing our pedicures and one doing our manicures. Throughout the duration of the 25 minute (total) appointment, the technicians proceeded to not engage with us once, but quite blatantly point at different parts of my body and speak in their own language, which is not the language I speak, and would laugh and giggle. This happened multiple times throughout my services. The tech doing my toes was so rough with the cuticle cutter that a few times I had to brace myself because of the pain. Both my friend and I were left with obvious sand/dirt under our toes and nails, jagged and not smooth nails, and my friend did not even get her heels scrubbed after mentioning that she needed it. After getting a bill for $70 for a total of MAYBE 25 minute appointment, we spoke to the manager politely, and were met with disagreement about the rushed appointment, even though she was not actively watching the technicians, essentially saying we were not truthful. She then proceeded to tell us how we didn't understand Vietnamese language and all they were saying was chatter about family. After explaining to her that it wasn't the language that was the problem, that it was the blatant pointing at parts of my body and eyeing parts of my body and then laughing, was the problem. The "solution" was $10 total off each of our appointments. Complete disappointment, will never return. Save your money, spend it at a salon that actually cares. I have attached photos to show the horrible quality of work. This is freshly after my appointment. You can see how dry, jagged and uneven they all are. A simple request not to use the drill on your bare nails sends her into a temper tantrum, literally throwing things. Just a miserable human being who shouldn't be anywhere near the service industry. This was my first time coming here and when I arrive for my appointment I wasn't really welcomed at all, I was only asked to sign in on a tablet. As other ladies were being called up for their manicure, I waited around 10 minutes before I believe the owner waved in front of my face to get my attention instead of calling my name (which I believe is the point of the sign in) and as I sat down I was never shown any nail colors at any point of the manicure. I had a fresh cut on my thumb and the lady that was doing my nails continuously would put her finger right on it and had her nail drill on the highest speed which hurt my nails and was overall being very aggressive during the process. There was a point where she scrolled on her phone for little and proceeded the manicure. My nails turned out fine but i definitely wouldn't pay the price that I did for that kind of service. I got a pedicure this morning by Yvonne. She was extremely rude for the duration of the service arguing with me about whether my polish was gel or regular. She also cut me. I had a spot on my toe which had raw skin which she filed over and when I said "ow that hurts" and jerked away she glared at me and then sprayed it with alcohol. Her attitude was horrible.
