Madalyn at the wax Shack is one of the best waxers I've ever seen! (And I've seen a lot). She is very quick, and the prices are really good. I've payed a lot more for a much worse wax job. I've had a Brazilian and my eyebrows done at the wax Shack and both were very good. She really gets all the hair without taking forever to do it. She uses good quality waxes too, and the process is much less painful than other waxers I've seen. She's also very easy going and fun to talk to so you won't feel awkward or anything during the appointment. Her office is kind of hidden away, but once you get there it's a very cute, clean, and comfortable space. She shares it with another girl who does eyelash extensions or something like that. Making appointments is very easy--I can schedule appointments via text message, which is super convenient if you are a shut in like me who doesn't like to call people. Reading the reviews below, it looks like the one I should have been looking to book is Madalyn! I booked Arianna, and it was a fairly decent experience and got the job done! The Great! The directions emailed to you are very clear, and makes the location easy to find, also the email and text reminders are very nice as well. It was pouring rain today, and I was 15 minutes late, I tried to call, but no one picked up, I texted and got a response right away, unfortunately she had another appointment coming in and couldn't fit me in. Once I parked, she said her other appoint was running late and she could fit me in. I was really thankful for this. Arianna also did the job quickly and generally painlessly (though bikini waxes tend to be mostly painless for me anyway) Unfulfilled Expectations: Reading the reviews.. I expected something a bit different. Sometime super sweet, to talk to me and make me comfortable. However that wasn't really the case, she just got right to business. There wasn't any trying to make me comfortable, no walking me through breathing. After the first 2-3 rips I ended up being the one trying to make conversation and asking questions, so I could distract myself. I booked a bikini wax ($35) ..I'm not sure if what I experienced was standard.. but I did feel they were stingy with the waxing. I was wearing my somewhat granny underwear (bc sometimes it hurts after and I didn't want anything tight) She told me if I wanted more waxed than ONLY what is outside my underwear, I would have to pay more for an extended bikini wax... but my underwear covered so much, she took off a little bit off the side.. and as I showed her the top portion and asked if she could take off about an inch of the top bc that's probably where my bikini line was, she told me that would be an extended bikini wax. T_T In the end she did agree to take off about 1/2 an inch. At first, I figured they know exactly what they are doing, and I would be fine in my bikini.. but I was wrong.. I came back home today, tried on my bikini and definitely still stuff showing. (it's not a crazy thong bikini either just a regular bikini bottom with the ties on the side) I was disappointed. Most of the other places I've gotten wax are much more generous with their waxing in. My best advice if your looking for a regular bikini wax is is to treat their extended bikini wax as what you would expect from a regular bikini wax! If you have that expectation set, you'll be good! read more

When I got there I was super nervous. I walked in and instantly felt warmed amd welcomed by Madalyn. She was awesome to say the least. I went in forna Brazillian wax and had bad experience in tge past with this. (Not with her). She made me feel super comfortable right away and was very quick, and even taught me some breathing to help me through it. We had great conversation which helped get me through it also. It was not even close to as painful as it has been in the past. I have very thick course hair and she still managed to make it to the end without me leaving half way through. Hahaha. Madalyn also did my eyebrows which she did an amazing job on and even got my side burn straggles. For lack of a better word this was am enjoyable experience and I will be back. She has definitely earned a new customer. I won't be going to any "wax centers" or nail salons to have these services done ever again.
