The best of the best! I have been seeing Kirsten since 2010, and she is truly phenomenal. Not only is she an absolute gem, but no one will give you a better wax! She is punctual, professional, has incredible attention to detail, and somehow makes you sad when your Brazilian appointment comes to an end. Book with her TODAY! P.s. Peep at my review below from 2013! read more

Kirsten is a sweet and lovely person!! She took her time to make sure that my sugar Brazilian was on point. She has a clean and super cute work studio. Her energy is inviting and was professional, while making great conversation and making me feel comfortable the whole time! Can't wait to see her again (lol). Never looked forward to getting a wax but now I do! She's great, you won't regret it :) read more

I use to go else where for my Brazilian wax but wanted to give sugaring a try and WOW !! Kirsten really did her thing. My first time getting waxed I still could see and feel prickles of hair so I thought it was normal. But after leaving from Kirsten there was literally nothing left behind . I was completely comfortable the whole time and she conversated the whole way through. Definitely recommend. read more

Kirstin is amazing! I came to her as a first-timer and felt immediately at ease. Her services are the highest in cleanliness, quality, and friendliness! I've seen her faithfully for more than SIX YEARS now (OMG I literally just counted that). She's passionate about what she does and provides the best standard of care, as well as being a beautiful human and building real relationships with her clients. Over the years, she'd removed hair from nearly every surface of my body and I trust her explicitly! read more

Thank you Fellow Yelpers before me for recommending Kirsten! This was my first experience here today, i needed a wax quick and i had called several places, no one answered, including Kirsten (but i am guessing it was because she was with a client.) as i was about to give up Kirsten called me back and fit me in the same day! she gave me perfect directions to the shop :) and my experience was wonderful! Kirsten is professional, the place is very cute & clean. and best of all, she was super nice, easy to talk to and makes you feel very comfortable! she also did an awesome waxing job, i love that she uses hard wax for the face. i will definitely be returning here :) read more

Kirstin is amazing. She has been my esthetician for years. In fact she was the first person to do my makeup (for senior portraits) and wax my eyebrows, this all before she was a professional. Now I trust her with my most intimate parts as well as doing my wedding makeup. Kirstin always makes me feel beautiful. You would be doing yourself a disservice not giving her a shot. She has been passionate about skin and beauty for as long as I have known her. She was telling me to wear sunscreen before it was the cool thing to do. I traveled from NY and SF to see her. I cannot say enough wonderful things. read more

I've been meaning to write a review for the longest time. I've been seeing Kirsten for over a year and she is the best. I get a full Brazilian (ouch) but Kirsten makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. We catch up on each other when I come in and I update her on what's going on in my life. We talk about everything from school to life problems and she is so genuine and sweet. She's always on time for an appointment and her studio is so cute with a Tiffany blue theme throughout the room. She is organized and professional and also a great friend. I would recommend Kirsten to anyone who wants a wax/facial she is my favorite! (I'm very picky) try her out you will not be disappointed! read more

Kirsten you are awesome! She is my favorite, so sweet and cheery, and provides excellent care for her customers... I will keep coming back:) read more

I wasn't able to get my waxing done bc of my schedule, but my messages were answered promptly. If I wasn't leaving the area I would have definitely tried to keep my appointment. read more

I started going to Kirsten a few years ago and I am so happy I found her!! I've only had waxes from her but she always does an amazing job! She is the sweetest and friendliest person and is so easy to talk to which makes waxes go by super fast, you almost don't want to leave because she's so fun to talk to. Everything other yelpers have to say about her is completely accurate, except for that one star-er. Kirsten always makes you feel comfortable enough for you to stop her if you feel something isn't right, or ask her any questions. Kirsten is awesome and you will NOT regret your visit at Scrumptious Skin! read more

Update; still coming to see Kirsten for my Brazilians all these years later. She never disappoints and always is fun to chat with. I still always look forward to my appointments with her! Best of the best! read more

Kirsten is the best!! I would not go anywhere else for waxing. She is super friendly and easy to talk to, makes you feel totally comfortable, professional, good prices, and she is the best waxer I have ever been to. Also you can text her to schedule appointments which I love read more

Kirsten was awesome, yelpers have not been wrong about her at all. I was in town for my wedding and needed a wax, based off of yelp reviews I visited Scrumptious Skin. Not only was she professional, the wax was great, didn't hurt (any more than it normally does) and she is so friendly and easy to talk to. The only problem is that she's not in San Diego! read more

First off, I love Kirsten! I've been going to her for almost 2yrs. I'm normally very private when it comes to personal hygiene and I'm even a little shy, however once you meet kirstens professional and charming spirit, all that goes away. She is so personable it makes you feel so at ease. She is thorough explaining the product ingredients and process. I definitely recommend her. read more

So friendly! And sweet! And overall amazing. I was so nervous about getting my first wax, and she was amazing in every way. The wax was done pretty well, and was the best price I've seen ever. 45 dollars for a brazilian?? I haven't gone back just because it's winter and doesn't seem as pratical. But I am going to go to her for my eyebrows soon. She is super great about fitting you in for an appoitment and even texts you the day of. read more

I love this place! Kirstin is so accommodating with scheduling. It's always a pleasure to get a great wax, fun conversation, and good pricing all at the same time. She does a fantastic job. I've had my brows and lip done by her and it always looks great. Definitely recommend! read more

Kirstin is amazing! I was hesitant to get a wax because of a previous horrible waxing experience. However, a friend of mine recommended going to Kristin. She provided information about possible things that could have led to why I had the outcome I did in my previous experience with someone else. This was so helpful for me. She reassured me and helped me understand. She did an amazing job both times I've been to her for waxes; I will continue to go back. I was very comfortable with her and she's super friendly and talkative. read more

I actually have known Kirstin since high school ... which made me MORE nervous to have her do my skin care and waxing because it's pretty private and we always want the best and I was afraid any dissatisfaction or awkwardness would ruin our relationship. Turns out, I didn't have to worry in the least. She is private, professional and takes the tension out of awkward moments. For her services and the quality, Kirstin is the best bargain around - her pricing cannot be beat. But, you don't sacrifice a thing. She has the best prodcucts (I have very sensitive skin) and she is great at what she does. Not sure I could ever go anywhere else. She's done bikini area, lip, nose, eye brows. I recently had my first peel. Give her a try and you won't be disappointed! read more

I discovered Scrumptious Skin through yelp, and now I reccommend Kirsten to all my friends... she's so kind, easy to talk to, professional, and very fast! She always returns phone calls in a timely manner, and is reasonably priced. Give her a try, and you won't be dissappointed! read more

Got the facial, it was really nice. Since I turned 30 I want to take better care of my skin, so I plan to go back. The studio was clean, and she was very nice too. read more

I have been going to see Kirsten for my Brazilians for 3 years now and she always does an amazing job. She is clean, professional and very sweet. I would recommend her to anyone. read more

Kirstin is amazing!! I have been to a few estheticians and I can say honestly Kirstin is the best out there. She is not only great at what she does but does her work in a timely manner while charging unbeatable prices! I tell all my friends to go to her because she is sweet and reliable. I buy gift certificates from her for gifts for my frinds and family who are always hapy to see a Scumptious Skin gift inside a card! Her kindness mixed with amazing talent have kept me going to her for years! read more

I was recommended to Kirsten from a friend of mine. I was very nervous about having a stranger do a brazillian wax on me, but I found myself to be very comfortable once I met Kirsten. She makes you feel relaxed and talks to you during the procedure to keep your mind off of it. She is incredibly nice and upbeat, and did a perfect job waxing. She knows what she is doing and does the job perfectly. read more

I have been getting waxed by Kirstin for 14 years and I don't trust anyone else near my face! She is the truly the best of the best. I have never had a bad experience in my 14 years or seeing her which says a lot. Her work is high quality and consistent every time. Not only is she extremely personable and easy to talk to, she listens to your preferences closely and does an incredible, thorough job. Her studio is clean, relaxing and inviting. I never have any irritation or pain after getting waxed and my eyebrows are always perfectly shaped in a natural way. I moved out of the area for 6 years and could never find an esthetician that came close to Kirstin. I would schedule appointments on my visits back to the area - That's how good she is! Now I am moving out of state and really don't know what I'll do without her. After all these years, I consider Kirstin a friend as well as a talented and professional estethician. I have full confidence recommending Kirstin to all my friends and family whenever they are looking for beauty services. If you live in Sonoma County, you must give Kirstin a try! You won't regret it. read more

This review is long over-due. I was new to waxing and randomly found the Scrumptious Skin website online a few years ago and thought I'd give it a shot. I'm so glad I did! Kirstin is an absolute pleasure to work with and is always willing to work around my busy schedule. Her prices are extremely reasonable and she is super sweet and professional. She is the best at distracting you during the waxing process and makes the time go by really quickly. I couldn't ask for more and would definitely recommend giving her a call. read more

I had been going to Kristen for several months brazillians and thought she was good until my last time seeing her. It was the worst waxing experience I've ever had. She ended up ripping serval areas of skin off my inner labia! It was very painful and I mentioned the pain but didn't notice I had gotten skin ripped off until I got home! I started crying cause it was embarrassing and looked really bad. It started scabbing up and eventually went away. I talked to Kristen and she had nothing to say other then "The inner labia is sensitive and prone to lifting". I talked to serval different waxers since and every one of them are shocked to hear that and told me that's complete BS. After switching waxers,it hasn't happened. I think Kristin may have been rushing or just not being careful. Bottom line I would not recommend her! read more
