I waited to write this review so it would be as accurate as possible. I've gone to European Wax center and another wax place (i didn't return to) in search of a good Brazilian, I found this great place and I'm never waxing again. Sugaring is the way to go! I had less ingrowns, less hair grow back and thinner. I am truly impressed! I'll admit the first time hurt a little more than waxing, but I've already gone back for a second and it was not as bad. I like the Sugaring! Not as hot, not as painful and seems to be much more quick than traditional waxing. What is super nice is there is no possibility of getting someone else's cooties from double dipping into the wax. Again, it is not actually wax, but a warm clump of sugar gel which grabs the hairs. If you're a guy who's self-conscious, sick of shaving/trimming, and/or want to try something new, but are too scared to try then I would go here for your first time. Brooke's sugaring process is definitely one of the quickest I have received and yes, it is painful but so worth it. No ingrowns, itchiness, unpleasing bumps, etc. I'm in and out within 30 minutes sometimes less. If you're hairy than it might take more time, but she does her best. Sugaring is definitely the way to go! I've been an off and on waxer for several years, waxing consistently for a few months in a row and then eventually quitting because I can't stand the pain. The LACK of basic professional consideration! So, I called this business yesterday (Friday) to make an appointment for today (Saturday). I didn't get an answer when I called, but the voicemail gave the options to leave a message, text, or email as an alternate way to make contact. I chose to text. The representative replied back shortly after, and we made arrangements for my appointment to be at 12:15. She emailed me a confirmation. In the email it had the CORRECT address (which has not been updated on Yelp) as well as information about the appointment, including their policy on cancellation. So, I get to the location at 12:00 on the dot, and wait. I go to the door, no answer. I wait awhile longer, go to the door, still no answer. At 12:30, I sent another text to let them know I was there and ask if they were there as well. NO REPLY. I wait another 15 minutes. I call, NO ANSWER. So, I advise that no one else waste their time as I did today to give this place business, since it is apparent that they lack the basic principles of customer service and professionalism to communicate with their customers. (And to think there's actually a cancellation policy where they keep your money, if you pay up front, and miss your appointment! Tuh!) Truly, my rating is NO stars, not even the ONE I had to put to post the review! After the mix up with my initial appointment, Brooke contacted me to straighten everything out. She explained the reason my appointment was missed and expressed her apologies. Brooke was concerned about my dissatisfaction and asked for the opportunity to resolve the issue if I was willing to book again. We later made arrangements for a new appointment to have my underarms sugared. She was nice and very informative about sugaring and addressed the questions and concerns I had about hair removal. She was sure to explain about the products she was using and why, and how to care for my skin afterwards until the next appointment. Her salon was clean and comfortable.
