Cindy was so sweet and stepped in whenever a customer seemed to need help even if she was busy. Kathy was really patient. I chose 2 colors that ended up being too bright on me and she didn't show any sign of annoyance for my changes. I had a bad exp at a different salon where the tech got so annoyed :/ There was a mom with a young daughter who came during my appt and the way they helped the daughter was so cute . I've had my nails done here a few times. For the most part the gel manicures have been good. The last pedicure i got here was terrible. I'm legit still upset about it, every time i look at my feet in sandals, I'm sad, I spent almost $100 on a gel manicure and standard pedicure and the pedicure looks I did it myself. I did express disappointment while I was there, the owner said let me fix it, but she didn't fix it, she just added more layers of polish, and it honestly made it worse. I had been there so long that I just wanted to leave. It needed to be redone start to finish. I don't get the impression that the owner thinks about (or cares maybe) how the current service will affect the customers willingness to come back. My manicures here are always pretty good, but honestly, I don't think I ever want to go back. I think about, if this was my business. I would've never let a customer walk out the door with a pedicure looking the way mine did, I wouldn't want my name on it. And the fact that she was OK charging me full price, knowing that I was disappointed blows my mind. read more

Long story short: Zero of five stars: We patiently waited over an hour for service. My mother and I called ahead of our visit for pedicures to ensure there were nail techs available, and were told to come in. We were seated at the pedicure chair and saw that the foot bowls were pre-filled with cold standing water. I let the manager know the situation, and she added hot water and blue powder to the standing water. We waited so long that the water went cold again. This happened three times! The third time I complained about the water going cold AGAIN, the manager came over with a pitcher of hot water and dumped some of it in the foot bowls and some of it all over my shoes and the floor. My Mother's massage chair wouldn't work, and she asked the manager for assistance. The manager fiddled with the controller for 30 seconds and then told my Mother it was broken. I paid the $35.00 fee for my pedicure and gave the manager $40.00 cash. She gave me just $3.00 change. When I brought the error to her attention, she rolled her eyes and gave me the other $2.00. What a lovely experience at Palms Nail Spa. I read a lot of yelps about nail places in the area and I chose this one and thrilled I did. Located in strip shopping center. 10 min walk from Holiday Inn. Called first and they were pleasant on phone. Walked in warmly greeted. Nice size shop. Very clean. Nice working equipment. Plenty of polish to confuse your choices. I wanted a pedicure and several to chose from. Today I was served so graciously by Cindy. What a lovely lady. You can tell customer service is in her blood. I soaked for about 10 min. Chairs very comfy. I selected the main Pedicure and I'll tell you it was 5 star. Trimmed my nails short as requested. Removed rough and callous skin. Prepped nails and cuticles and then hot stones. A lovely massage and then polish. All done while I relaxed and chatted with another lovely customer Darla. I'm from out of the area but i will not hesitate to come back when my work takes me here. There is a review on this business's page that is grossly false with a picture of painted skin. This was by far the best service I've had in my experience at nail salons. The nails turned out better than the inspo and the process was enjoyable with the people that were there. The customers were very friendly and made good discussion, but the nail techs were even better!! The energy in there made me feel very welcome, and you don't always feel welcome in a nail salon, but this, was fantastic. Overall I rate this a 100/10 It's very fun to go with friends!! Totally my favorite pedicure spot in town! The staff is super friendly, the prices are reasonable, and they do a fantastic job. I love a good pedicure. I love when they get rough with the massage and dig in to grab the grime from under a nail or cut and ingrown toenail. BUT I can't stand it when the nail tech knicks my toes and makes me bleed. I am happy to report I've never had palms nail knick my toes or dig too hard. It's always just the right amount. During the pandemic it was difficult to find an open spa so I tried many in the area taking what was open and I can't believe how many times I left other places with bleeding toes. My nails and cuticles needed some major TLC! I called on Sunday and was able to get in an hour later. Cindy the owner was very friendly and accomodating. Apparently Sundays (at least right now in the fall) are quiet for them. I started with the pedicure - love when salons have time to separate the services (it's always so awkward and not relaxing to sit in the pedicure chair and reach my arms around for a simultaneous manicure). I enjoyed the massage of the pedicure chair. My pedicure was good - the massage was gentle by hand and with hot stones. I then moved to a manicure station - they now have plexiglass barriers between the manicurist and customer, which I appreciated. The manicure was good too. Gentle again, but my nails and cuticles got the clean-up that they needed. The salon looked clean and they ask you to wash your hands immediately when you arrive. The types and colors of polish are plentiful. And the parking in this small shopping center is easy. read more

I've been here a handful of times... the first few times were great and the last few not so much. Last week i went in for a mani pedi for a special event. I had gel French tips for my mani and deluxe pedicure with callous peel, paraffin wax etc. My manicure, nails cut and filed short and very curved in an unnatural shape. I had to point out that she left dark nail polish on the grooves of my thumb and another finger as she was beginning to paint and in had to tell her to remove it. The French was not even ... then the ends filed with the abrasive nail file on the underside and edge to release my nails from my skin. Never had this done before. Normally there is a hand massage, not this time. Pedicure - she forgot the callous treatment.. normally there is a soak with scents - not this time.. it was rushed . Bill came to $130.. when I asked about the callous part - I was told I can wait and they will do it ... this is after im all done. I would've been fine had she just taken $10 off or downgraded the pedicure but that was not an option. "Next time I'll take care of you" ... Super disappointing. 4 days later I'm having pain in two of my toes as the corners of the nails were cut in sharp areas... leaving me no option but to recut them. A week later gel nail polish lifting, not sure if this is normal- seems a bit soon. Paid another salon $10 to remove it. read more

I walked into Palm Nails a few months ago, desperately needing a pedicure. My toes were practically clicking on the floor. They set me up with Kathy. The chair is out of this world, my back cracking with every roll. Worth the price right there. My feet are huge, women's size 13. She damn near threw me over shoulder, she is strong! Spent over an hour getting in there and cleaning everything. A shockingly good massage. Like, whoa! Side note, I never once picked up my phone, it felt that good. Went back a month or so later, asked for her again. "Honey, you want deluxe pedicure, we have time." Uh, sure. Parafin dip, leg mask, hot towels. THREE massages later, including hot stones, two scrubs, and two rounds of tools cleaning me out, an hour and a half later my feet were singing and shiny. It was spendy, and sooooo worth it. I have never paid 50 for a pedicure and I didn't bat an eye. Got another deluxe today. Kathy threw in a shoulder massage. Her hands could stop an eagle in flight, they are so strong and intent. Next time I go there I'm going to propose to her. Highly recommend. Clean, comfortable, very nice people, other customers are always happy. read more

Wow- I'm not even done yet but I won't come back. First they told me something before I even walked in and it was loud so I didn't hear . I just needed a fill. She said to wash my hands- I just moved into the area and am looking for that "right nail salon" still. I have no idea where I'm supposed to wash my hands and I'm never asked to do that when getting them done. I sat down, the lady was super short with me- She got my color but I was still explaining it to her and she got up to get the color- okkkk? Customer service?? We get started, and she is taking my other color off- and I guess one of my nails was loose... she just took out the tools and took off the nail- I don't want to pay for nail removal - didn't ask. Just did it. Super understaffed, tons of walkins- feels very rushed and stressed. The one star is for the nail design ideas offered.... We will see how this turns out. Guess my search will keep going. Worst nails I've ever had! There is acrylic all over my nail beds and my skin all the way around the nails is GLUED to the acrylic. She made the acrylic too thick so they look like bubbles. I gave her a simple design and she even had a hard time executing it. And on top of it all, I got literally a two second massage on my hands. And they were still covered in acrylic dust so it was scratchy and not even close to enjoyable. Will not be back! Update: I did go back the next day to have them fixed by someone else. Her name was Hannah. I will say that given what she had to work with, she did an absolutely amazing job. The only thing was that the owner, Cindy, charged me extra to have them fixed. Considering that we dropped close to $500 the day before for our girls day, and that they did such a horrible job the first time, I don't feel like I should have been charged at all but it is what it is. I am disappointed that the lady charged me for the two 9 year old girls $65 per pedicure, the same as my friend and I. I've never ever, at any salon, had to pay that much for the kids' care, it was a basic pedicure, nothing special other than the flower painted on big toe.
