I would highly recommend Lexi-Anne for a manicure and pedicure. This was my granddaughter's first salon experience. Lexi-Anne made it such a positive experience. Been coming here for years now, Peter does a great job cutting and dying my hair. I recently started bringing my toddler for hair cuts and he did great the first 2 times, until this last time--he was crying and squirmy. I was so embarrassed and stressed out, thankfully Peter was so calm and understanding about the whole situation. He was so patient and fast and worked around all the inconveniences. I'm so thankful. Salon is beautiful, the gentleman who greeted me made sure I had something to drink and was comfortable. I went in for a nail fill, the girl was incredibly nice, however my nails didn't look very good. She claimed it was too late in the day and she was tired, and that she wasn't incredibly happy with the how they turned out either. She promised that she would do a much better job on my next visit. I made the 2nd appointment and within a week I decided to cancel and go somewhere else. I was embarrassed by how they turned out. Nail fills aren't cheap and money is tighter these days. I just can't afford a service that doesn't meet my needs. read more

Peter didn't just cut my hair - he gave me a stylish update that I love. He was pleasant, listened to my wants and then softly and calmly cut my thick hair into a well-cut short style. The man ahead of me seemed very pleased with his haircut and there was a lady getting her nails done at the same time - she said that the manicurist as perfect. His shop is serene, spotless and a joy to come to every 4 weeks. I am over 80% white haired. I have thick fast growing curly, wiry hair. This makes me very particular about color and cut. I am outdoors quite a bit of my life but I am also a professional woman. He is my one stop shop.. Cut, styling, great color, waxing for my brow n lip. Not only is he great with all of these services, but the pricing is fair to the working woman. We book out my appointments 6 months in advance, because he is Busy... I am relatively new to the area and decided I needed to find a new salon. I have been driving by Frankie's twice a day for over a year - and finally called and made an appointment. They were able to fit me in on a Saturday with super short notice. I am so happy with my cut and style - and it feels even better after nine months of Covid-19 life. Their protocols were great - it was just me and the stylist - and he took my temp and had me fill out a survey before my cut. I felt very comfortable with everything. A few months ago Stephanie cut my hair and did a great job! A couple of months later I called to make another appointment and was told she was no longer with them. I decided to make the appointment instead with Peter. They called me to confirm the appt and we agreed on a time a little earlier than I had wanted but that was ok. I rushed out of work, fought traffic from Santa Rosa to Windsor and arrived right on time. When I got there Peter said oh, I took a new client maybe Frankie can do it. Frankie called his client as they were apparently late. After talking to his client Frankie got off the phone and said can you please wait or come back in an hour because we do not have time right now. WHAT?? I had an appointment, the walk in that Peter had decided to take did not! Apparently appointments do not matter to this salon! They did not make any attempts to apologize or rectify the situation. My mother brought me into the salon - I was transitioning between having dark hair and was hoping for something lighter! It was a huge project (my hair was so dark, and just out of shape). Not only was my hair everything and more I hoped for (a testament to that theory "your mother is always right"), but, the service was remarkable. Everyone there was so kind and generous with their time. I can honestly say I do not think I have had that experience with a salon in a long time. It was worth the time that they worked so hard on my hair - 6 hours! Every hair was colored to perfection, each end was cut with care, AND they wouldn't let me leave until my color was exactly what I had envisioned. Took my daughter here for a haircut because it has so many great reviews! After being quoted $50 at another Windsor salon, I expected something similar when I inquired about their pricing. As you can imagine, you could have knocked me over with a feather when the stylist (unfortunately I forgot to get his name!) told me $18 for the haircut. My daughter had hair down close to her elbows & we wanted an angled bob! This place is amazing! It's well-decorated & cool inside, impeccably clean & the stylists professional, experienced & all about their customers! My boyfriend and I both go to Frankie. Mike has thick hair with lots of cowlicks, and has been to so many places over the years, each time the cut is off (too short, layered incorrectly, unmanageable), but Frankie does an incredible job. I would have to say it the best his hair has looked, and I can run my fingers through it without getting caught in gel! Mike had been suggesting I try Frankie. Then it happened, I had two bad haircuts from my stylists of eight years. I have long baby fine hair and Frankie does an excellent job layering my hair without thinning it. Frankie is THE best! He knows exactly which cut looks good for who YOU are. I told him I like my long hair but I wanted to do something different, I gave him full liberty to do what he wanted to it. I Loved it! That was over a year ago, and I will never go anyplace else. His staff is friendly and the shop is beautiful.
