The place was totally dead on a Saturday afternoon, which felt like a bit of a red flag. I walked in anyway since my usual nail spot couldn't accommodate a walk-in. I was greeted warmly and quickly invited to sit down for the pedicure I requested. The technician was very thorough when trimming extra skin and cuticles, which I usually appreciate, but this time it felt a little too aggressive. She tugged at areas that could turn into ingrowns, and a few of my toes started bleeding. Definitely not ideal. When she sprayed the alcohol on them I could tell almost all were cut by the burning it induced. The leg massage was just okay, with light pressure (about what I expect from a standard pedicure). What surprised me was that they used cuticle oil instead of lotion or scrub for the massage, not what I'm used to, but not a dealbreaker. The atmosphere didn't help either, the salon was completely empty, half the lights were off, and there was no music, so the whole experience felt a little off from start to finish. Overall, everything was fine, and I appreciated being taken as a last-minute walk-in, but because of the rough cuticle work, I probably won't be back. read more

Definitely not coming back, I got a short full set of acrylics and by the third day three of my nails broke off. I was cut twice even when mentioning I was a type 1 diabetic. The whole time felt super rushed even though I called two days prior and booked an appointment at 10:30am with nobody else in the shop. I walked out paying over $90 DOLLARS which is crazy ($75 for the nails and $15 for the tips) even though I didn't love the experience or nails, the work was finished and honestly I just always give a tip. I walked out quite upset, truly felt like the lady took advantage and added in her own tip maybe. I rarely ever get my nails done so considering they didn't even last 5 days for the event I had planned was very underwhelming! I'm also a CA licensed esthetician aswell and the unsanitary practices I saw was frightening! read more

Very meticulously delivers manicures and pedicures with great results. One suggestion, the smell of fish was overwhelming upon arrival. It dissipated after more than an hour but was definitely seafood. Your customers aren't prepared for that smell and it doesn't create the ambiance I'm sure you are going for. read more

Wife here: reminder to self to not come back. Came Friday night for mani pedi - event following day. Place was empty. Manicurist was soaking her feet in a tub. I got immediate service by both her and a gentleman who spoke no English. I told her I wanted the same polka dot design that was on my toes but in blue and white. The soaking water was cold. The chair non massage and with no music or anything awkwardly uncomfortable as they both were working on me and speaking in another language. He cut my toes too short then filed skin I said ouch several times and no more. Sharp corners poking in skin. She cut my cuticles too short and I was bleeding, left a hangnail. Then sprayed with rubbing alcohol. Doused my legs and arms in "cuticle oil" I felt like I was greased up for a county fair. Painting on my toes looks nothing like prior it's a zillion dots. She laughed and told me she was lazy and didn't want to walk to other side to do my other hand and I had to bring my right hand to the left side for her. As soon as another customer walked in- she quickly painted me then began helping / arguing with another customer about the manicure she got a day prior. She ended up repainting her nails but the entire time told the customer she was at fault. 2 days later toes still hurt - I felt the nails and some Of the corners are sharp and digging into the skin. I went into passion nails on Wednesday 7/12/23. Where I was helped by a very nice lady who had her son there with her. I went in at around 5:15 and overall the experience was not the greatest to make my story short she started on my nails right away at 5:15 and I did not leave until 7:20. I sat there for two hours for a simple French tip. After just one day the white of the French tip design is chipping off. The shape of the nail is not correct and the French tip is thicker than I wanted. I also noticed that the powder she used for my base was sticky upon applying. The quality of the nails is just not good especially because I sat there for two hours and paid $60 bucks. read more

What great service! Very friendly and not rude at all! Walked in hoping for a pedi and was told to pick a color. They have great colors from OPI and Essie plus the gel/shellach service also. They place a liner on the jet tub that kinda looks like a shower cap for the tub. Nice and clean. The woman who attended to my feet was very nice and offered water while I sat there. It was really nice and comfortable. No poking or clipping. It went by too fast. I was also given the foot scrubby bar and all the files she used on my feet. My nail tech was friendly and did a great job on my gel manicure. I had never tried gel manicure before, but she said it would last about 2 weeks, no chips. So, why not! She spent long time doing the manicure with 5 mins massage which was so relaxing. I also got an eyebrow wax, which she offered to do. It was true, i was in desperate need of an eyebrow wax. She wasnt pushy either, which i really liked. Also very important, this place is very clean. The towels are very hot and you can tell they sanitize everything. Hands down one of the best salons I've ever been to!! When I had my stiletto nails, Yen was an absolute artist when it came to shaping my nails. I would get compliments on them every day! They have an amazing selection of regular nail polish as well as gel polish. The pedicures are amazing. Love the massage chair. They're really gentle but at the same time they get the job done. Went to have some quick girls time. Ann was very sweet and made us feel welcome. It was my first time at this salon and I enjoyed my manicure immensely. My best friend and I ended up getting the dipped powder colors. I had such a hard time decided which colors because there were so many options! By the end of my best friend's manicure, I finally chose a mint green and and etheral iridescent Sparkle. I had some acrylic left over but Ann took it down very thin and created the new shape I wanted. She ensured that the shape was truly what I envisioned & corrected even the most minor critique I had. The powder was fun! So light weight and vibrant! No chemical smells like acrylic. Ann did 2 layers of the glitter and 3 layers of the mint. Truly satisfied with the finished product. Cannot wait until the remaining acrylic grows out to where I'll only end up having the dipped powder. Thank you Ann for the time and attention you spent attending to my manicure. Maybe I'm spoiled by my favorite (yet cheap) place in the city, however, this is the worst pedicure I've had in a long time. Still searching for a good pedicure place in Windsor, I made an appointment for 1:30 today. Clearly, they either overbooked or accepted every walk in regardless of the amount of people they had working. The result, unfortunately for me, was a rushed, sloppy pedicure. Every step of this pedicure was half @ssed. I told the girl the water was too hot (it made my feet bright red when I put them in), and her solution was to just have me keep my feet out of the water for a few minutes rather than making the minimal effort to cool it down by adding a little bit of cold water. WIthout going into boring detail, the cutting, filing, cuticle cutting, foot scrub, and massage were all rushed. Polish job was so sloppy that as I was walking out, one of the other workers asked me to stop so she could take the stripe of nail polish off my skin. Save your money and go elsewhere for the same price. Shiloh Nails in my opinion is the best in Windsor...not spectacular, but at least they make an attempt at offering a relaxing experience while having some personality. read more

Honestly, I was skeptical coming here only because my old nail salon in Santa Rosa was my all time favorite. Then I walked in to Passion nails and said they don't use acrylic because it's unhealthy for your nails and to breathe in so I almost left because I was like what the heck do I do now with these nasty acrylics I have? But I gave there "dip" set a chance and fell in love. Anne did AMAZING and I love them so much. I love that my nails don't smell like nasty acrylic. When I went in, no one else was there and she offered me water and/or coffee and we talked like I've been there a dozen times. Such a sweet lady. Definitely my go to salon now. The location is clearly older, yet so well maintained on the Interior. No clever gimmicks or 'menus'. Sterile!!!!! The owner is very nice and clearly knows what she is doing. I went in yesterday and just got my best manicure EVER. Kathy took great care with very aspect of the process. I got a French tip dip (no, not the sandwich). My nails have seriously never looked this good, All of the equipment used was sterilized and came out of a sealed package. My cuticles were only trimmed lightly, and the nail surface expertly prepped. Multiple layers of dip were applied. There was no wait either! This is a two-person operation complete with beverages, very comfortable seating, and a thoughtful collection of options. They are tucked into a spot in the newly remodeled Raley's shopping center.
