Mother's Day manicure gone bad. Not only was the nail tech unable to communicate whatsoever which was awkward, she cut my cuticle twice . I screamed. When I got home it was bleeding and inflamed. I'm still dealing with the repercussions and medical bills three months later. I will never return nor to I recommend this salon. Would give zero stars if I could.
Well I had to take away two stars based on the gel peeling off hours after the job was completed. So for the last 2 days and today I've been sporting this look. Lol good times. Half of my thumb gel came off as well on Thursday, the day after I had my appointment
Definitely not worth going back. These are my nails after two days. Plus the service wasn't good at all, the nail tech cut my pinky and proceeded to ignore it until it kept bleeding. I had to tell her to wipe the blood and no apology whatsoever. I was charged $48 and of course I left a tip even though it was a sloppy job.
Gel manicure- I specifically asked, more than once, that my dry cuticles and cracked, rough skin be smoothed off. She kept grabbing my hand and moving it around to paint the nails rather than adjusting herself or her chair. It was weird. My nails were so rough on the edges. I basically had to file all my nails when I got home so they don't snag. The whole reason I went to get a manicure is to have nails that feel nice. I've never experienced such a crappy job. The lady wasn't very friendly either. And when the other lady did my friend's feet, she cut her several times. It was painful. She almost said "STOP being so rough!" But she didn't want the lady to be even more grouchy. She said the lady acted "tired and annoyed that she had to be working!" We won't be going back.
I have gotten my pedicure done here twice and I love everything about it! I think I finally found a salon that I'm gonna stick with and I'm so happy. Stellar nail spa provides you with a hot stone massage and it feels amazing while you sit on a massage chair. Very relaxing. My feet were so soft after. I left 100% satisfied. The staff is friendly and most importantly professional. Good prices, clean environment. Highly recommend!
Do not go here. Update! Chip in nail after only 4 hours!!!!:GEL. First of all, no soaking time. Basic pedicure: she cut me. She did not stand to cuticles. She barely touched my callous and only used that ruff sponge, if that was supposed to be a massage it felt like a tickle. Absolutly no pressure, she looked bored. nails look uneven and unfiled. Gel manicure: She did the manicure part during my pedicure even though I clearly said I did not want that. They tried to have me look thru nail polish colors (not a book. Huge messy basket) with one hand since the manicurist had the other and the pedicures kept trying to tell me what to do with my feet! My nails look aweful. Dead skin left. Polish all over skin. She said it would wash off. It did not so I went back and she was going to cut it off with cuticle scissors!!!! The owner obviously could tell I was not happy and said nothing. $85.00 later for very basic horrible pedicure and basic horrible gel manicure. Another $20.00 for the salon I went to for a polish change. I have paid way less for a much better BASIC pedicure and Gel manicure.
Sooooo I used to go here for acrylics and I did like them, only use Johnny or Annie in the front! But I have since gotten my nails done elsewhere and only have come here a couple of times for a pedicure! So I don't usually post toe pictures and I'm sorry but I don't think you would understand how bad these are, if I didn't post it My nails are naturally short, but not this short and when I came in they were not rounded! They were square and probably a quarter inch longer than they are now which for toenails is pretty long! But I payed for my pedicure and didn't tip, and all the ladies made faces rolled their eyes watched me leave and talked about me as I left! so now I have to speak up! They should be glad I didn't ask for a refund or walk out without paying at all. The lady never asked me if I wanted my toenails clipped! She made a comment about my ingrown toenails, then she proceeded to clip and yank out my ingrown toenails! By the time I noticed how rounded she was clipping them, and how short they were they were already clipped, so it's not like I could tell her to redo them. She can't glue my nail back on! So I was pretty mad and frustrated then she did a pretty horrible job on the gel polish. this pedicure was $50. It's not like I was being cheap! I will never get a pedicure here again and I strongly advise you don't either. She also looked like she was uninterested and barely rubbed my legs at all the place I get my nails done now, rubs my arms harder than she rubbed my legs or my feet. Pretty frustrated! Very done with this place.
Come back to the newly remodeled Steller Nail Spa, it's beautiful. Fresh paint and all new amenity's! They have added some extras to the pedicure experience and the new spa chairs are incredible. Of course Johnny and all the staff continue to give the best service and this new feel makes your visit well worth their affordable pricing.
Nice nails had panic attack at checkout so over tipped and left and ran out the store because they remembered my review from 12 months ago and brought up my yelp review in the store as I was still getting my nails and eyebrows done. Felt very uncomfortable since I was telling the person who was doing my nails. My mom had a relapsed on cancer and we were to talk about Buddhism as I showed him some of my music and were just talking. I personally did not feel welcomed and tipped over $32.
Used to get my acrylics done here and both Johnnie and Kevin are very good. BUT. I got a few pedicures and started to develop a nasty toe fungus. And at one point the entire nail fell off with no warning and I thought it might grow back normal but it did not. I also know for a fact it was this place bc I hadn't had my toes done anywhere for quite a while. So sorry for the pic but I feel like I had to.
Ever walk into a nail shop and feel like your family? Well when you come here that is how you will feel. My first time coming here I was really critical about how I wanted my simple pedicure with clear polish. Since I am a person of second chances. I went back and they remembered me and my preference. I mean getting nails done are not cheap and not a easy job. I have been coming here for about a year or so and I know I'm not wasting my money. The staff such as Nancy ( The best pedicurist) and jenny (pedicurist) and Annie (manicurist)and Johnny (manicurist) work endless hours and provide excellent service to all clients. The work they do last a very long time and the environment is relaxing. I come here every month everytime they bring the magic. I advise all those people looking for good service and great environment come here. But make sure you call ahead and schedule an appointment because they are always packed. Remember always Tip because they literally work hard to make your beauty the important part of there day.

The people are nice, but I got home and photographed my toenails and they are really badly painted. Even with my bad eyesight I do a better job. What a waste of money. read more

Came here with my sister for a birthday pedi. There was no wait since it was a random Thursday morning. Everyone was really friendly, they even offered us beverages. It's very clean here and they just got new pedi chairs that are even better than their old massaging chairs. There's countless color and design choices for your nails. Today I hit a pedi but I've gotten full sets and mania here too. read more

went to get my acrylics taken off today and I do have very thin nail beds plus the nails weren't very old so she should have soaked them before not after. She immediately used the tool to try and clip it off and it hurt so BAD. went underneath the nail that was not ready to come off at all instead of starting to soak them and tore my real nail. I jumped so she knew it was painful for me. I am in so much pain. she proceeded to soak the rest because of what she did to my ring finger nail. Other than my nail being in pain, they are okay at pedicures. My nail lady and others were also pointing at my nails and staring at them because of how thin they look which made me uncomfortable. read more
Nice place inside. Tons of gel colors to choose from. They were all nice. Asked me if I wanted anything to drink. I went in for a fill and gel color. Total was $28! Cheaper than Elite Nails! I would recommend this place over them for sure. They were quick too. I'll go back and try another color and see how it goes again :) Another good set and love the mermaid color! read more

I really wanted to like this since it's close to home, but I just can't recommend it, in fact I would say be very careful who you get to do your nails. We paid $100 for to gel pedicures and both left with not only our cuticles bleeding, but polish that was put on so poorly it literally fell off after a couple of hours. Too this of with the fact that she cut the corners of my toenails way back. We were getting our toes done for a wedding in Mexico and it was just horrible. When we talked to the business about getting our money back, they refused and said they would only try to fix it. I didn't want any more damage done so I declined. Pictures are hours after having toes done. read more

I have been a here before and was always pleased. Staff is friendly, approachable, and professional. This time, I walked in for a dipping powder mani with limited time to spare and was graciously greeted and seated. While I didn't have a spa manicure experience (soak, cuticles, moisturizer), the acrylic was expertly applied and they honored my time crunch - I was in and out in 30-min. read more

Not even a 2 week difference and my nails started chipping immediately. At first it was fine but a day or two after getting my nails done they started chipping really bad. Now they look like this when a previous salon had my nails holding up for a few weeks. Idk if it was a bad day for them or something but the job was highly unsatisfying for me. read more

I've been to a lot of nail salons in Sonoma county. I'm always searching for that best experience ever; the perfect customer service, a nail job I can not stop staring at, and an unbeatable price. Let me tell you, people of Yelp, my experience at Stellar Nail Salon ticked all my boxes! I made a first time, same day appointment for an acrylic fill and requested Johnny (thanks Yelp.) I was surprised I was able to get in so I'm glad I called early. When I arrived the salon seemed busy and a man greeted me sitting in the nearest station. He caught me a little off guard and without saying anything else, "it must be me you are looking for!?" I replied yes as his confidence assured me this was Johnny, the nail tech that would take my hands to nail heaven. He looked at my current nails and knew they hadn't been done at Stellar. They needed a rehab; seriously they were horrible and lumpy. I asked for a the color swatches and he hands me a tub. Never have I ever been given that many gel swatches! Ooooh the overwhelming options. As a perfectionist, next time I will arrive early if I don't have my heart set on a color before my appointment. Through the whole experience, Johnny was funny, confident and made me feel totally relaxed as if I wasn't going to have to nit pick issues with my nails like I always do. I watched his whole technique as he perfected my acrylics. It was effortless, I was so impressed. When we finished I was surprised to see that for a job which would normally take me over an hour, only took 40 mins. The price was under 30$ for the fill which allowed me to tip generously without feeling like I was draining my wallet. It was honestly surprising for something that well done. I know I may sound over zealous about simple red acrylics, but It's SO SURPRISING how many nail technicians can screw up a simple coffin shape and color job. I WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING! If your tired of wasting time and money on subpar nail jobs, go see Johnny at Stellar Nail Spa read more

Hoe much does it cost for a full set of acrylics with gel polish?
Depends on the gel polish. They have holographic ones and mosaic ones that are more expensive. Also depends if you do a design. It'll run about $40-$50.…
