This review is for the person who has been eyeing this spot for a while but isn't quite convinced. I'll start of with things that they absolutely got right: The decor 100/10. You walk in and the place is all white, super bright and clean. It gives a very spa experience. There's also GREAT products that I use for purchase on the wall. Next is the service, there is an extensive menu similar to a coffee shop where you can get anything from a latte or match latte with lavender and vanilla. The front desk girlies are super friendly and kind. Even the girl that did my pedicure was really nice. Vibes 100/10 So the actual pedicure, the pedicure itself was very meticulous. She was absolutely thorough when it came to my toes. So as I'm writing this and looking at my feet. I would've loved more attention to the bottom and back of my feet as part of the pedicure. They actually followed up and repaired what I didn't like. I really love their emphasis to detail and costumer service. I'll definitely be coming back for my pedicures. read more

I made a reservation at Nail Art House after finding out that my favorite salon for Russian manicures has recently closed temporarily (Vilero out of Cedar Park). Apparently they plan to come back in September under a new name, but my nails needed work pronto. I ended up making a reservation for my birthday at a time that was closest to being convenient for my schedule. It took about 2 hours from old gel removal, cuticle work, and new gel polish and nail reshaping. You can make a reservation online or over the phone. I thought it was interesting that the nail techs were priced differently (from $120-$160), and I'm assuming it's based on some level of experience. I chose a late morning slot for $120. Parking wasn't too much of a hassle, but not having come here before, it took me a while to realize that the building where NAH is located had suites inside (behind Houndstooth Coffee and the other eateries). The ambiance was definitely "hip, fresh, and cool"---from the decor to the colors. The receptionist was friendly and offered water, coffee, or soda. I asked if she could prep a cappuccino while I waited for my technician Laneth. I wish I had taken a picture of the cappuccino because it was served so cutely and came with a Reese's mini PB cup. I've now grown accustomed to having a cappuccino to pair with a Russian manicure! Laneth was super attentive, and was able to meet my request for shorter nails and a gold chrome color. She did a great job with my cuticles too. I ended up paying $207 (service + tip) so it was absolutely on the pricey side compared to what I paid at Vilero. We'll see how long-lasting it is! One thing I found odd was when I proudly and happily gave them a shout-out on social media, I did not receive any message of thanks or appreciation. Even if they don't repost, its nice etiquette when a local business shows appreciation---even if it is a quick DM saying "thank you!"---for clients who take the time to take pictures/videos to share on social media, for free. read more

I could not live without Nail Art House, particularly Mindy. I have been coming here since right after Mindy started and its literally the one thing I prioritize every month. I don't really remember how I ended up here but I believe it was from an Instagram post early on and I got lucky to start seeing them as a regular client before everyone knew about NAH. I was immediately impressed with how strong my nails remain month after month. They never peel or chip and I think I've only broken one nail in 18 months (and I had to try very hard) I work in the hospital and I am super rough on my hands. Also, I had a medical Emergency and missed my 4 week appointment once, and literally went 8 full weeks and still had people complimenting my nails daily. EIGHT WEEKS. Btw i dont recommend this, it was not intentional. I really enjoy chatting with the other girls and seeing Destiny (The technician next to Mindy) and her clients as well. I do wish the location was more central but it could literally be in south Dallas and I would still go. read more

I've been trying to get an appointment with one of these ladies for a while since they're in such high demand. Having been here twice now, I'm VERY impressed. When I first walked in I was warmly greeted and offered a cup of herbal tea. They have a big TV with music videos playing, and the ambiance is chill and vibey. Ana did my nails, and she was so kind, sweet and funny. I'm indecisive about nail colors, but I didn't feel rushed at all- instead, Ana pulled out a zillion of them and went into detail about every color I liked. My kinda people! The technique they use here is top notch. I've never been able to grow my nails past a tiny nub, but with e-filing they do here and the gel they use, they grew out to the point where they looked like acrylics (length and strength-wise) BUT THEY WERE MY REAL NAILS. I didn't even want to leave a review because I don't want anyone else knowing about this gem of a place. A friend recommended and her nails always look AMAZING so I went ahead and booked. I struggle with my nails and wanted to wait to see how long this manicure would last before writing a review. My friend can go 3-5 weeks and mine did not last a full 2 weeks. HOWEVER I threw a baby shower during the time and did quite a bit of manual labor which started the deterioration. When I went to get the manicure removed at another salon, I was STUNNED to see that my nails were just as strong as they had been prior to my manicure! There was none of the damage i I usually see with regular gel manicures! I am sold. I booked with Mindy who is an absolute doll - the process is long but still seemed to fly by while chatting with her! She is so attentive and creative and I cannot say nicer things about her. From the moment you walk into the salon it's an experience. The decor is wonderful and she is such a welcoming host. She had water and hand sanitizer laid out for me. We started by getting a feel for what I wanted and then she showed me all the sanitized tools that she would be using and how to ensure that it was sanitized. She moved so quickly but so efficiently. My cuticles have never been this nice and she made my short nubby nails look wonderful by the end of it. The best part is that the base coat and gel that she uses lasts about 4 weeks so the price is very reasonable. I encourage everyone to visit her and to have this experience. I am so happy that I found Nail Art House! I have been coming to see Melinda now for about 4 months and my natural nails have NEVER been healthier or looked any better. Prior to coming to Melinda I was getting acrylic nail sets for at least a few years. I finally made the decision to take care of my natural nails and I haven't looked back since. I removed my acrylics and requested to be on the appointment waitlist with Nail Art House for the next open appointment. I found them on Instagram and was amazed at the quality of their work and the fact that they could make natural nails look just as beautiful as acrylic. I did not care how long I had to wait to get in, I knew this would be my new home for all things nails. During my very first appointment Melinda made recommendations for an IBX treatment to help give my nails structure. She did a beautiful French tip and I was so pleased with how she transformed my brittle and damaged nails into a simple, natural and pretty manicure. Over the past four months my natural nails have grown in length and strength. I have trusted the advice of Melinda and she has amazed me at how healthy my nails could actually be. I seriously thought I was just born with brittle nails and I'd have to live with that. I also tried out a SMART pedicure today for the first time and I'm just as in love with the results. I would advise anyone interested in services to book ahead of time. Both Natalia and Melinda are great technicians and their books fill fast. Their online booking is great and easy to use.
