I was really excited to try this place. So much that I WASTED over $50 here. With a limited menu and specializing in only 1 burger what could go wrong, right? Well, EVERYTHING! Came on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised to see they have a daily HH of $10 speciality drinks, $5 beers, and $18 burger/fries combo w/ $3 up charge for cheese fries. Decent deal so me and my wife both ordered a combo with cheese fries with no onions and I ordered a Tokyo Punch for cocktail. First off the employees can't get anything right here but hey they at least messed up my order twice but gave me a smile and was kind about their mess up so that's what the 2 stars are for lol. The bartender brings me my drink and even says "here's your Tokyo" I thought oh it looks like a citrus drink to have been a coconut, whiskey punch. First sip I was disgusted because I instantly knew it was a margarita. I took the drink back to the bar and said I didn't like the punch it didn't taste as described. She asked what it tasted like and I said margarita and then she says yea that's what it looks like as well then inform me that the bottles were mislabeled and I was served a margarita and they were out of Tokyo. That was very annoying that the bartender could not tell the difference of the two drinks when pouring it. I ended up ordering a rum boba drink instead that was good. Now with the food remember I ordered 2 burgers with no onions because modifications are allowed. Boxes said no onion but there were onions all over them. I'm a sucker for anything Michelin-star or even Michelin-adjacent, so when I heard that Not A Damn Chance was a collaboration between Michelin-starred chef Phillip Frankland Lee and pro skater Neen Williams, I knew I had to check it out. At first, what drew me in was the name (seriously, "Not A Damn Chance" might be one of the best burger joint names ever) and their old-school, no-substitutions rule. They've since loosened that up a bit--according to their website they're more flexible now--but I still felt slightly guilty skipping the pickles. Normally, I'm not a jalapeño-on-a-burger kind of guy, but I wanted to stay as close to the original build as possible. And wow -- this burger was nearly perfect. The bun was soft but sturdy, the beef patties were beautifully smashed with that perfect Maillard crust, and the jalapeños added just the right kick without overpowering the flavor. My buddy got his with the full setup (pickles included) and said they were excellent -- which only confirmed I made the right call for my taste. The sauce tied everything together -- rich, savory, and balanced. I grabbed some ketchup for the fries, and theirs is different in a really interesting way. It has this tangy edge, maybe adobo or a heavier vinegar note -- whatever it is, it works. And speaking of the fries... phenomenal. They're beef tallow fries, and you can tell they're double fried because that crunch is next level. One of my friends tried the animal-style version with sauce and a pickle relish, which he absolutely loved -- but for me, the plain ones were perfect alongside the burger. Stumbled upon this place, literally was staying at a nearby hotel and walked the neighborhood. There is only a few options on the menu which usually means they are amazing... Burger, kids burger, fries or loaded fries. And beer/booze limited booze. Sat at the bar, didn't realize this is an order then sit place as there is no signage on process. Bartender grabbed a tablet and came to me since there was a massive line by the time I realized the process. Tried on a Saturday for a late lunch. When we arrived there were about 3 parties waiting for food and not many in line. The menu is simple so does not take long to order food. They also offer a variety of drinks, from soda to beer. The food did not take too long to come out. It came standard with all the toppings. The meat was fresh and the bun was very soft. I loved that they didn't hold back on the onions or pickles. I will say, my burger had many toppings while my friend's was lacking. I would not say it's the best burger I've had and it's far from the worst burger I've had. For me the fries were overly salted but very very crispy! There are a few tables inside but as it gets crowded I could see it being a little tight for people to move around. They do offer plenty of seating outside! Solid burger spot! Flavorful, juicy and the beef was tender. However, the price range is higher than other burger spots ($16 and it has 2 3 oz patties). The wait time was also pretty long, we waited about 15-20 mins before our order was ready (ordered 2 burgers and 1 regular fries). Before adding the ketchup to your burger, I recommend tasting it! i liked it but they added some other ingredients to it (tastes peppery). Their special sauce is good as well. When I tell you, this is one of the best burgers I have ever had, I'm not lying! I mean, the burger was made with American Wagyu so that should tell you everything about how seriously they take quality here. This place is absolutely incredible and after speaking with the staff, they explained to me that the burger was actually created by a three star Michelin chef and it shows. The concept is super cool and the menu is very simple: great burgers, amazing fries, and the best selection of drinks available. They also had beer on tap which I thought was an excellent touch. The food was SO SO SO GOOD. I wanted to even give kudos to the chef and he came out and conversed with us, which was so nice. They thanked us for the compliments and they had such good energy and attitudes. I believe I spoke with Frank and Don. You can tell that they really enjoy where they work and love the establishment and it translated into the food and whole dining experience. The fries were fried in beef tallow, and gave the most incredible flavor profile to the fries. Even the ketchup where you dipped the fries in was seasoned, which was mind blowing. I couldn't get enough of the fries so crispy and so flavorful. Now the burger was literally next level and was made with AMERICAN WAGYU BEEF!!! like wow just wowwwww! It had caramelized onions, a homemade sauce, and this jalapeño relish that really meshed so well together. I paired it with a Dublin soda, and it was my first time being introduced to the brand, and what a way to finish my meal, just incredible. Lastly, when I spoke with the manager Frank, he said that they may be opening new locations elsewhere and they were looking into Miami. I really hope that that happens because I love burgers and if this were to open in Miami, I would probably be there at least a couple times a month. This burger would absolutely dominate in a city like Miami, and the whole vibe of the restaurant I believe would do really well in Miami. I seen this burger spot on TikTok and I had to try it immediately. The quality of the burger, the sauce, the pickles, the bread... Everything was top-tier. It was so good. I ordered it online and I picked it up in the inside and it was a smooth easy process. I was able to get some of the secret sauce on the side when I went in. The fries are so good. They are those crunchy eczema fries. The only thing that I can say is that the burger had a little bit too much sauce on it. It was wet and got really messy but other than that it was really good. The ambience in the place is a cool vibe, and the service was great. The only thing is that parking is a little extra and you have to walk around to the building. Heard that NADC had opened in Uptown Dallas this week and wanted to check them out. They are in a great location on McKinney Ave in the heart of the action. The place was buzzing when we arrived but the staff quickly got the line moving and everyone's order in. The place is smaller but has plenty of seating inside and on the patio with parking around back. The menu is small but they do an amazing smash Burger very rich and meaty patty's on this double stacked burger with onion and special sauce, it can be rich but expected with Wagyu Beef. Burger was alright but nothing special, wish the jalapeños had a little heat (but understand why they tame them), they kinda blended in with the pickles. A middle of the road smashburger, not *bad* but not noteworthy. Fries tasted like old oil/grease and ketchup missed the mark for me as well (love the addition of herbs but this tasted oregano heavy? Flavor almost gave pasta sauce). If I could give it, this place would get a 3.5 because the staff was friendly and there was a lot of patio space. The Austin location, the 3 times I visited, the burger was hot off the grill. And fresh!!!!!! Was out late for a concert at Fair Park. Normally (please do not judge me to hard) if I'm out late with my boys we will stop at Taco Bell since they are always open it seems. This concert my lovely wife was with me, guys unless your wife loves Taco Bell find someplace else like NADC burger hint hint. Getting into the place at night is tricky there is a lot of construction going on but so glad I fought the fight. Walking up is got just a really cool vibe with big crazy murals on the walls. I will say the initial price for a burger is a bit of a sticker shock but you get what you pay for. We didn't go during lunch or dinner times. I got my hamburger, and it was a disappointment. It's on a kid's bun. The meat tasted good, but at $16.00 before taxes was a bit expensive for my budget, especially for a mini bun. I'm disappointed I couldn't write a more positive review.
