There's NADC that I will be back to this location. The fries were delectable and it was a high quality burger but for those prices, I just can't. God knows I love a smash burger so I've had plenty. NADC's burger cost significantly more but it doesn't taste that much better. I prefer Sauc'd (in Grapevine). Also the customer service was mid even though I went on the day of the grand opening. I think the cashier just wanted to talk to ppl at the bar. The location is great and I really liked the packaging they used for the food. I still recommend trying it but there's NADC that I'll be doing that again.

I'm a sucker for anything Michelin-star or even Michelin-adjacent, so when I heard that Not A Damn Chance was a collaboration between Michelin-starred chef Phillip Frankland Lee and pro skater Neen Williams, I knew I had to check it out. At first, what drew me in was the name (seriously, "Not A Damn Chance" might be one of the best burger joint names ever) and their old-school, no-substitutions rule. They've since loosened that up a bit--according to their website they're more flexible now--but I still felt slightly guilty skipping the pickles. Normally, I'm not a jalapeño-on-a-burger kind of guy, but I wanted to stay as close to the original build as possible. And wow -- this burger was nearly perfect. The bun was soft but sturdy, the beef patties were beautifully smashed with that perfect Maillard crust, and the jalapeños added just the right kick without overpowering the flavor. My buddy got his with the full setup (pickles included) and said they were excellent -- which only confirmed I made the right call for my taste. The sauce tied everything together -- rich, savory, and balanced. I grabbed some ketchup for the fries, and theirs is different in a really interesting way. It has this tangy edge, maybe adobo or a heavier vinegar note -- whatever it is, it works. And speaking of the fries... phenomenal. They're beef tallow fries, and you can tell they're double fried because that crunch is next level. One of my friends tried the animal-style version with sauce and a pickle relish, which he absolutely loved -- but for me, the plain ones were perfect alongside the burger. If you're on the hunt for a legit burger in Dallas, this is it. Perfect for a weekday lunch or a lazy Saturday bite. Chef-driven, skater-cooled, and absolutely worth the trip.

Stumbled upon this place, literally was staying at a nearby hotel and walked the neighborhood. There is only a few options on the menu which usually means they are amazing... Burger, kids burger, fries or loaded fries. And beer/booze limited booze. Sat at the bar, didn't realize this is an order then sit place as there is no signage on process. Bartender grabbed a tablet and came to me since there was a massive line by the time I realized the process. So like I said previously, they only have a few things on the menu, but damn do they do them absolutely perfectly. Don't make changes get it the way it is on the menu. It is absolutely amazing.

Tried on a Saturday for a late lunch. When we arrived there were about 3 parties waiting for food and not many in line. The menu is simple so does not take long to order food. They also offer a variety of drinks, from soda to beer. The food did not take too long to come out. It came standard with all the toppings. The meat was fresh and the bun was very soft. I loved that they didn't hold back on the onions or pickles. I will say, my burger had many toppings while my friend's was lacking. I would not say it's the best burger I've had and it's far from the worst burger I've had. For me the fries were overly salted but very very crispy! There are a few tables inside but as it gets crowded I could see it being a little tight for people to move around. They do offer plenty of seating outside! There is a small parking lot behind the building but can easily find street parking or other lots within walking distance.

Solid burger spot! Flavorful, juicy and the beef was tender. However, the price range is higher than other burger spots ($16 and it has 2 3 oz patties). The wait time was also pretty long, we waited about 15-20 mins before our order was ready (ordered 2 burgers and 1 regular fries). Before adding the ketchup to your burger, I recommend tasting it! i liked it but they added some other ingredients to it (tastes peppery). Their special sauce is good as well. Overall I thought it was a great place

Pretty solid burger you will not leave disappointed! Great flavor everything blends pretty good together! It is on the pricier side for a smash burger but it's for sure worth a try! It was pretty quick for a Sunday afternoon almost no wait time less than 10 minutes. Inside there are about 5 tables and a bar area. Outside there is more seating but this Texas heat is no joke!

Wow!!! This burger spot is the real deal !! The beef patty was cooked to perfection and the taste was worth the price !! Very friendly staff, attentive and very welcoming!! A little small on the inside but the patio patio is really spacious

I was excited to try the new neighborhood burger spot. Placed my order here on Yelp to GrubHub. The limited menu gave me an In-N-Out vibe. I went with a burger, fries and a few Dublin sodas. The smashed patties were overcooked and burned, with very minimal toppings. Very dry. I couldn't even taste the special sauce that was mentioned. The fries were crispy and crunchy but the sodas I was most looking forward to were missing from my order. Overall, the food was just okay and didn't leave me tempted enough to return.

I seen this burger spot on TikTok and I had to try it immediately. The quality of the burger, the sauce, the pickles, the bread... Everything was top-tier. It was so good. I ordered it online and I picked it up in the inside and it was a smooth easy process. I was able to get some of the secret sauce on the side when I went in. The fries are so good. They are those crunchy eczema fries. The only thing that I can say is that the burger had a little bit too much sauce on it. It was wet and got really messy but other than that it was really good. The ambience in the place is a cool vibe, and the service was great. The only thing is that parking is a little extra and you have to walk around to the building. I probably will always do pick up coming here, but I will be back. And I can agree probably one of the best burgers in Dallas.

Small menu with option for burger plain or with the works- cheese, sauce, pickles, japs, relish etc, and then plain fires or loaded with same toppings as the burger. They do have a nice selection of 5 or so draft beers. The burger didn't blow me away, overall though. I also don't love the parking at this location in uptown because it's a super casual spot that would be nice to be able to pull up and get Togo at too. I think patty/meat is the most important thing for a burger spot with limited menu and can say I've had much better in town.

Extremely delicious burger. However the price is 16 dollars which is quite expensive however you do get two patties. The space is a bit small but what you expect from a bar. Services comes take awhile because it was packed and just opened. I waited about 20 minutes.

Tried the Wagyu burger at NOT A DAMN CHANCE and it did not disappoint. Super juicy, packed with flavor, and perfectly cooked--not overdone at all. Honestly, it was the perfect cheeseburger in my opinion. The bun was soft, puffy, and held everything together beautifully. Even the fries were spot-on--crispy and golden, just the way I like them. We also tried the loaded fries (my husband's idea), but I personally prefer the classic ones. Still, they weren't bad--just not my thing. If you're looking for a solid burger that gets everything right--from the meat to the bun--this place is definitely worth a visit.

NADC - Not a Damn Chance Burger is a wagyu cheeseburger collaboration between Professional Skateboarder Neen Williams and Chef Phillip Frankland Lee. We were so excited to try. The menu is super simple just burger and fries My first big is exploding with the flavor, the buttery and umami rich flavor of the wagyu. Absolutely, simple and delicious. The fries fried with beef tallow has a deep flavor, super crunchy outside, but rich and soft inside. Very hearty meal, great for hangover LOL Great location in the heart of Uptown. Casual and fun vibe.

Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

WILL NEVER BE BACK!…read more HATED. EVERY. MOMENT. OF. THIS. PISS. POOR. EXPERIENCE. EVERY. SINGLE. MOMENT. VALET. NOT. FREE. I called before deciding where to eat on a Sunday afternoon to confirm parking situations. Parking is not easy downtown so this played a huge factor in figuring where, out of the dozens of brunch places, to eat. Definitely a bit of a walk to get accommodated at the actual restaurant so valet seemed the most reasonably enticing for parking solutions. Well, I called and spoke with the lady at the front desk. I confirmed with this little girl FOUR TIMES IF 1. They had valet available today 2. If it was complimentary. Come to find out it was not complimentary. And $7 for parking just doesn't sit well with me when there are ample free options else where with satisfying beverage, meal, ambiance, and service. All of which, I DID NOT GET AT HAYWIRE. I come in and although I had a reservation that I was 10 minutes early for while noticing tables available, I was told by that same girl who lied to me about parking I needed to take a seat. Reassuring me that it would only take two minutes to be seated. 10 minutes later I see coupled and groups walking in and guess what? They were immediately sat. While I am waiting to be sat at one of the three clean tables I'm staring at. I finally tell my boyfriend I am about to eat at the bar and he goes to the hostess stand to inform them our frustration and guess what? We were sat immediately. I get seated and there are two standing fans placed next to my table that's blowing my hair all over the f*****g place. I had to tell them to turn them off. What? No AC in this place either?? We immediately ordered and got the elk tacos for an appetizer. The tacos are WAY too spicy and way too salty. Too spicy AND too salty?? They're a no for me. You literally can't taste anything because of both! I HATED these little tacos. Probably the worst I've ever had. Ever seen someone attempt to pinch a bit of salt to season and the entire top comes off?? These tacos. My boyfriend had the chicken fried steak. He loved it (loves spicy and seasonings because he's Cajun) but I tried it and it was over seasoned. Again? Couldn't taste what I was eating. The mashed potatoes were divine. Enjoyed those! And then the green beans were tasteless. Hahaha what a joke. I ordered the barbacoa chilaquiles and it was literally too spicy to eat. Inedible. My eyes teared up, my nose started running, and I couldn't taste anything after a couple bites of the spice. I was so f*****g over this place I just ate my boyfriend's mashed potatoes and we left. If I had it my way, I wouldn't have paid for a thing here. They don't deserve our money and I HATE they got a cent from me. I'm livid. I hate this place W I L L N E V E R B E B A C K

The night started beautifully--we enjoyed espresso martinis at the bar and were then seated at one of our favorite tables. We ordered a bottle of wine and caviar and were settling in to plan the rest of our meal when the experience took a turn. A tween/teen birthday party was seated in the private room. At first, we assumed the noise was just initial excitement and would settle after a few minutes. The parents of the birthday girl were seated nearby, and when the mother got up, we expected she might ask the girls to lower their volume. Unfortunately, the opposite happened--she brought the group out into the main dining room for photos, where the noise level became even more disruptive. Another couple seated near us--at what is typically a very desirable table--lasted no more than five minutes before asking to be moved outside. Shortly after, a manager approached the private room. We anticipated they would address the noise, but instead, they greeted the party warmly and thanked them for being there, without making any effort to manage the disruption. After so many consistently great experiences, it was honestly shocking. We truly felt as though we were being punked. My boyfriend and I both have children and enjoy bringing them to nice restaurants, but part of that experience includes ensuring they understand and respect the environment. When that standard isn't upheld--especially with no support from management--it significantly detracts from the experience for everyone else.
