This is the best Chinese takeout place around the East valley! I love that they have a lunch special everyday, even on the weekends. I got the sweet and sour chicken, which comes with rice and an egg roll. It was freshly made, it was a big portion, and the sauce was not overly sweet and fake. Ment to walk into next door, and walked in 5 minutes before My Kitchen was closing for the night. Door was UNLOCKED when i walked in. The girl behind the counter screamed out "We are closed" I glanced at my phone and tried to tell her that I was confused, but I could not get a word in. She continued to holler at me that they where closed and then told me I had to leave NOW, as if I was a prowler trespassing and she would call the police if I didn't leave right then and there, and continued to say leave now. Looked them up after I left only to see that they where not to close for another 5 minutes when I walked in. If your closed, like really closed you should have locked the door. Extremely rude and disrespectful hollering at someone the moment they walk in, and then demand they leave now when they can't even get a word in and are confused trying to get an answer or assistance. You best believe I would NEVER recommend this place. Customer service deserves a 0 for there behavior. read more

We went here last Saturday night to try it out. We would not recommend. The food was not good. We ordered Chicken Lo Mein, Chicken and mixed vegetables, and a curry dish. The texture on all the chicken was very off putting, and the flavor of all the dishes were not up to any level that one expects at places like this. So here's to my first time trying "New York" style Chinese food, that I know of. I ordered take out and was very happy with how quickly it was ready and how hot the food was when I got home and how hot it stayed while eating it. I got beef lo mein and a small wonton soup with a side of crispy wontons chips. The broth for the soup is very dark which is enticing because color is flavor (you know this if you have ever watched any Gordon Ramsey cooking show). The soup was very tasty but I didn't get a punch of flavor from the broth like I thought I would; no biggie that's just my personal preference. The small soup had 4-5 large wontons filled with beef, which for $3.50 seems generous. I got the wonton chips to add to the soup so I had a little crunch but I was surprised by the wonton chips (which I have had at several other Chinese restaurants), as they kind of had that stale crunch, like vegan wonton wrappers do. I don't know if that's what they use but its not the same as the wrappers that use eggs, just sayin. The lo mein it was very good, generous portion, didn't skimp on beef or veggies, but it was just not something to rave about. I see all these 5 star reviews and I guess I had my hopes up based on that. I have had lo mein many times and this lo mein was missing something but I can't put my finger on it. Would I order it again, probably because it was good and I got over two meals out of it. For a while my husband and I went here for lunch every Monday and the staff remembered us and knew what we ordered. I love how they use regular glass plates and normal silverware instead of plastic. Tried this place tonight and have only this to compare to Asian City on power and queen creek road. We were actually really excited to try this Chinese food place as it's closer in proximity than Asian City and it got great reviews. I am going to say this comes in a close second to Asian City. We liked some of the dishes better here, and some of the dishes better at Asian City. But overall feel that your getting more bang for your buck when it comes to the meal deals at Asian City. For just slightly less than the same price we paid tonight (which was only two entrees and an appetizer) you get an extra entree and larger rice portions in the 3 family meal deal at Asian City. With that being said, the inside of the restaurant is also really clean and they have more seating for a restaurant style ambience over Asian City. The food is fresh, flavors all good, but their crab ragoons were much more liquidy than we like. If they offered a similar meal deal option with same cost, then I think we would probably come back more, but we will stick to driving the extra few minutes to Asian City just for the value and consistency. read more

Yo this place needs more love. It's so quiet in the burbs that you miss it driving by. I dropped in for lunch and got their lunch menu. Add $1 to get a soup with your meal. Mongolian beef is solid. Fresh ingredients, tender big pieces of sliced beef. Sauce was on point. Soup was hot in temp and good flavor. Overall solid dining experience. Even the heavy black dinning utensils was solid. One thing I would change is bean sprouts in my fried rice. I'm not a fan of it. It was soggy but it didn't ruin my experience. I recommend this dish with steam rice next time. I'll be back read more

The first time i visited this place i ordered the Singaporean Noodles with chicken, beef and shrimp. Sooooo gooood! I've been wanting to come back for a month. I decided to look up their lunch menu and it was HUGE! i decided to try the Egg Foo Yung with fried rice. I was not disappointed! It was made fresh and delicious. I especially loved the fried rice. Lots of bots of pork in it. I ordered to go but the inside of this place has a nice feel. When i ate here the first time I sat in. They have the most comfortable chairs ever! Wide for my bootie and nice and cushy. The only reason why i dropped one star from a five rating is because i ordered to go and they did not include utensils or napkins in the bag. Was planning on eating at a park but ended up having to go home in order to use utensils. It drives me crazy when fast food places and places that offer pick up do not include napkins or utensils.
