The food was just as good as their pictures!! My eyes told my brain what to expect and my mouth agreed!! Fantastic!! Very filling! All three of us were happily full!

    Cashier lady on her phone

Let me start off by saying the food was alright but we will probably not be coming back as the front desk/ cashier person was incredibly rude. We walked in began looking in the menu. She aggressively asked if we where dining in and then proceeded to ask if we would want want water or a fountain drink. Before we even could decided on what to eat. We felt pressured to pick something quickly as we where cutting in to her social media staring/ on her phone time. We ordered the beef lo Mein and the fried rice. We got our food quickly and the fried rice was extremely dry and lacked taste. We went up to the cashier asking if we could exchange the fried rice for something else (mind you we took a couple bites and tried to not be rude) and she asked again aggressively what was wrong with it. We let her know it was dry and tastless and she claimed it was made fresh so it wasn't possible. She did allow for us to exchange for the Lo Mein. She was rude the entire time and as someone who works in customer service she SEVERELY needs to work on how she approaches customers and replies. While eating she was also arguing on her phone. If this restaurant wants to retain customers i would suggest changing the face of your restaurant to someone who wants to be there and doesn't look like she is being made to be there.

    MOLD!!!!!

MOLDY onions!! Absolutely disgusting and can't believe they'd use moldy onions in the food they serve. There were several moldy onions I found. Dined in yesterday for lunch and went to warm up leftovers today and found 4 moldy onion pieces. They didn't mold overnight as the other leftovers didn't have moldy onions. So gross. Do NOT eat here!!!

    Extremely undercooked, rubbery eggplant. Blech.

EVERYTHJNG TASTES FUNNY OR IS OLD. We spent $80 on two entrees, crab Rangoons, and won ton soup. The wonton soup was cold and so old that the meat tasted rancid and the noodles were completely disintegrating in the broth, which tasted like pure soy sauce. My eggplant and beef in garlic sauce was an absolute horror show. The eggplant was so undercooked it was not chewable, and the beef again tasted old. Overly garlicky sauce which left my entire mouth coated with that jarred garlic sticky feel. The chicken teriyaki tasted re-cooked and had an odd clove like back flavor. Also had a ton of odd veggies (almost raw, btw) that had that clingy spice on them as well. Crab Rangoons were okay, but nothing special. Edible, which was a refreshing change from the rest of the order. I got lo mein on the side and it was bland and yet oddly sticky. My husband had fried rice on the side and once mixed in with his weird teriyaki was okay. The crispy noodles were anemic - almost white- and didn't go in the soup no one ate. Terrible, terrible waste of money!

Delicious Chinese food! Cute place too. Highly recommend. Fast casual (you walk up, order at the counter and they bring it to you).

Ordered takeout here one night. My Kitchen is located in the new-ish Fry's shopping center. Plenty of parking available. The space and the staff were welcoming. There's ample seating. I ordered a shrimp dish for myself and my husband ordered Mongolian beef. We also ordered spicy edamame. Service was quick. We couldn't wait to get home and devour our dinner. However, when we took the contents out of the bag, we realized they had forgotten the rice that comes with the entrees. Not a single rice container. Unfortunately, we didn't have any rice at home and My Kitchen doesn't deliver so there was no point in calling them. We also didn't want to drive back out just to pick up rice. Partly our fault for not checking the contents of the bag before leaving the restaurant. Disappointed, we ate the entrees without rice. Though they were flavorful, it just wasn't the same. We would definitely give them another try, but will make sure to check our orders before leaving.

Lunch Special Sechzuan Beef with Pork Fried rice and an empty cup of delicious Hot & Sour soup.

First visit today after what seemed like an exhaustive search battle between Google & Yelp for Chinese food... So, we found ourselves arriving a bit before 3pm, that's important as you can get lunch specials until 3pm. I opted for the Szechuan beef, Pork fried rice and cup of Hot & Sour soup. My friend got the Veggie Lo Mein. We were both impressed with the variety, quantity and doneness of the veggies. I enjoyed the Hot & Sour soup which is generally my gauge for Chinese food. It's a small place with I think a capacity of only ~26 but the seats were comfy and take-out is always an option as well as Door Dash. We took a menu on the way out and a nice little snack to boot. Give them a try.

Mongolian beef and chicken and eggplant in garlic sauce

This was a great meal! We picked a really good place to have takeout from tonight. I've never heard of My Kitchen before but found it on Yelp when I was looking for restaurants in Gilbert. The reviews were very encouraging. We ordered Mongolian beef, Chicken with Eggplant in Garlic Sauce, Vegetable Lo Mein, vegetable fried rice, crab rangoons and vegetable spring rolls. We asked for everything to be mild. After trying all the dishes, this might be our new favorite Chinese restaurant! The food tasted cleaner than any other place we have tried so far. It was fresh, delicious and had so much flavor. We loved the chicken with eggplant. I love eggplant so much and they used purple eggplant (a lot of it in the dish actually which made me very happy). Mild was perfect. The food had a kick without being too spicy. Portion size was also pretty big so we had leftovers for the next day. Prices are average. We paid $59 for everything before tip. This is great because we got two dinners out of this order!

    Kung Pao Chicken

Food was decent but the lady behind the counter was extremely rude. She was upset that we asked questions and seemed to be bothered we were interrupting her social media time. She was on her cell phone any oppurtunity she could be. Completely rude for customer service job. My family was treated like we were bothering her. Will never go back truly a bad experience. Wouldn't recommend based on service alone. Hope ownership recognizes the opportunity.

    Egg rolls, delicious!

Unfortunately, I was really disappointed :( To start, this restaurant is located in a large shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. We came as a party of 4 on a Saturday during lunch and were seated immediately. We sent our orders to the kitchen ourselves with a tablet, which is nice because you don't have to wait for the server each time you want to order more food. Unfortunately, when we received our first round of orders, more than half the dishes were cold, almost as if they've been sitting out for awhile. Even our egg drop soup wasn't warm, which was super disappointing. After we placed our second round of orders, I respectfully asked the server if they could make sure the food comes out warm this time since the first round was so cold. She was apologetic and agreed to let the kitchen know. Our second round was much better. The food was warm, but the first round of food made such a bad impression, I kinda already lost my appetite. Also, the server informed us that they charge an extra fee for any leftover food, even if it's just ONE dumpling. I found this rule to be pretty outrageous to charge an extra fee for just one uneaten dumpling. It's sad to say I will not be coming back here again. After seeing this place all over social media, I was so excited to try it. But unfortunately, I was disappointed. If you are thinking about trying this place, maybe don't do the AYCE option.

Service was a bit on the slower side, but there was only one lady helping at the front and assisting customers. Starting with the favorites: Dan Dan noodles were a tad salty but overall had great flavor The orange chicken and general tso's chicken were both really good and had a sweet sauce to them. I like that the general tso's came with some peppers and celery. Fried shrimp was crispy and loved the batter Fried golden buns were divine. Fried and crispy with a side of condensed milk. The not so favorites: Beef fried rice was horrible, had some kind of chemical taste and the beef cut is very cheap and flabby, yup I said it. Crab puffs, umm where was the crab? Fiery beef noodles were subpar, again with the cheap beef And unfortunately the dumplings are nothing to brag about. Lacked much flavored to the fillings, you aren't missing anything. I would say overall, give it a shot for lunch and you can try a bunch of options to find what you may like.

I'm not usually a spice person, but I was left feeling tingly but not in pain and not numb. Overall I found Heng's Kitchen to be disproportionately pricey given the taste and portion sizes. I planned to place my order online and did not see the garlic chicken, just garlic shrimp. I was super disappointed. My daughter told me to just order whatever and I knew she had never had moo shu chicken and this is a dish I love so I decided to go with that. Needless to say, this restaurants moo shu chicken was not like any other moo shu I have ever had. I mean the crepe and plum sauce was the same but the chicken and veggies were different and not in a good way. The flavor was mild and the plum sauce that was spread on the crepe saved this dish. What was disappointing was they gave us one small condiment cup of plum sauce and it wasn't even filled to the top. It was enough for two crepes and we had 6 crepes and chicken and veggies to fill all the crepes. If the plum sauce was what saved this dish imagine my disappointment in not having enough plum sauce for the remaining crepes. They definitely need to give a larger portion of plum sauce. I have turned my daughter on to egg drop soup and she loves it from our usual Chinese restaurant so she wanted to try it here. This egg drop had corn and tofu (we think, but not sure) in it. It was very bland. She had to add soy sauce to it to spruce up the flavor. We always order wonton chips for egg drop soup and did this time too. Their wonton chips were bland as well. Lastly, we ordered crab puffs and the same wonton shells were used for the crab puffs. Just another item that was bland. If I could get the garlic chicken I would try this place again but since I can't I don't foresee us ordering from here again. We will drive a few miles down the street to get our favorite place.
