While our beloved diners of yesteryear are disappearing,, it was so refreshing to walk into My 3 Sons. We were craving comfort food and so we ordered omelettes. I had the West Coast omelette which included tomato, onions, avocado, and cheddar cheese, but I substituted with Swiss. It tasted just how an omelette should taste and the home fries were really really good and the star of the show. Mom had a cheese omelette with mozzarella cheese and she said it was also delicious. We had regular coffees which were solid and got better with each sip. Lol. Julie, our server was very sweet and super friendly and made us feel right at home. We now have a place to go for really great comfort food. Also to know, the diner has a very welcoming vibe and is immaculately clean. Would definitely go back. read more

I've been coming to this diner for years! The food is like having a home cooked meal. My husband got a pizza burger deluxe. The burgers are excellent and no preformed burger here cooked the way you want it. I got a gyro platter which comes with your choice or rice or French fries, grilled pita, tzatziki sauce and their lemon dressing for the plate. I like it on either the chicken or gyro meat, salad and rice, pour that all over. They make egg creams and thick delicious shakes. I've had the turkey platter with real mashed potatoes , turkey is tender. Their soups are delicious! My fave is the split pea and pasta fagioli. This is a family run place and they care what they put on your plate. Go have breakfast, lunch or dinner, but get there before 8pm which is closing. If you want a classic diner with no frills, My Three Sons is your place. If you want a fancy restaurant for IG shots, this is not the place for you. Places like this are dwindling and I'm glad I stumbled upon this little gem. Food was good, portions were fair and our waitress Val was a great balance between being attentive and giving you space. I hate it when restaurant staff hover or rush you to turn tables over. The booth behind me were two old ladies that were nice but incredibly fickle and picky and not once did I hear Val sigh or are any signs of annoyance. I ended up with the combo platter. The meats were cooked just right and both the fries and salad had ample feta cheese to go with. It was paired with pita tzatziki sauce. It was enough for a meal and then some! My brother got the bacon cheeseburger and added a fried egg. I appreciated how they double checked if he wanted the egg runny or well done. Not many places do that. We both were satisfied with our meal! They take cash or credit. There is some metered parking but your best bet is walking or mass transportation. All in all, it's a local place with regulars and I'm more than okay with that. read more

I give this diner a Zero. I went to this diner several months ago. I will never go again. Never. I ordered an egg white omelette with mozzarella cheese, and toast without butter. Instead I got an egg white omelette with American cheese and the toast was burnt to a crisp with butter oozing out of it. I told the waitress. She brought it back to the 'cook' who took forever to bring the toast back which was still oozing with butter. A third time, The toast was finally brought back to me again but I had to wait a long time for it. They also brought back the wrong eggs again. The waitress said that the 'cook' probably didn't look at the Ticket that had the order on. read more

7/26/17 I've been living three streets down from this coffee shop in Dyker heights for about 15 years. I have only been in here about theee times for breakfast. The only reason for that is because I'm not really a diner type of person and I have to be honest Inwasnt crazy about their breakfast back then. Not sure how it is now but I was getting a manicure across the street and decided to go in and grab something quick to eat afterwards, and have no regrets doing so. I Was greeted right away, very friendly and attentive. I ordered the chicken kebab salad to go. I have to say, it was by far the best I've had! The original and best Greek Diner - wonderful and friendly family-run restaurant serving authentic Greek Diner cuisine. The Chicken K-Bob is amazing, with their secret lemon dressing. Their food is classic and delicious - especially the burgers, and the P6 special sandwich. I also really like their club sandwiches. The most unique dish at this restaurant is the Chicken K-Bob platter. This is a truly special and warm neighborhood place. This diner has been in operation over 36 years. Today I discovered that the doors were shuttered, and learned through calling their number (which thankfully is the same) that they had moved locations. Shame on the original location's landlord for not working out a deal with this wonderful family - especially during a pandemic. read more

The Chicken Kabob platter over rice and Greek salad is one of the best I've ever had. Can also get it as a sandwich a pita. It comes with a homemade lemon dressing that is fantastic. Sometimes I'll ask for some tzatziki sauce on the side if I'm in the mood. Everything I've ordered there is freshly made, savory, and beautifully seasoned. Bf lives around the area and i was not aware of this diner until we decided to grab something light on Sunday. I got their cowboy omelette with extra bacon and it was delicious; they really did put lots of ham, onion, and peppers inside it. Bacon was crispy too. Their cappucino was ok a bit tad sweet for me. Today i got back and order the cream of turkey -- it was decent. Overall the food is pretty on point here although They need to clean the table and the floor more often as it can be sticky and slippery. They close early so better get here before 3pm. read more

I went to my three sons bc I was working over near them. I didn't even notice the place at first. But I have to tell you there food is excellent everybody should go there to eat. We order from here often at work. The food is pretty consistent and delicious. However, I've noticed that they can't keep the prices consistent. Depending on who you speak to on the phone, the prices vary by about a dollar. I have no idea why. Nonetheless, I will still order from here because the food is fresh and the portions are enough for two meals. read more
