We came here for brunch on a Sunday and the place was busy, there was a table available for us, but after we got seated, every table was taken. The staff were very friendly. We took some time to order since they have a pretty extensive menu, but finally decided on stead quesadilla and coffee. It was a simple quesadilla doesn't have too much in there. I've been here a handful of times. The food and prices have been consistently good. The service is lacking. Even when nearly empty, nobody has come over to ask if I needed anything or how the food was, even while sitting for half hour or longer. I found that unusual for a food establishment, so I had to raise my hand every time, which was uncomfortable for me. The staff seem to understand basic English, but we're friendly and happy to assist me. They take special requests which was very nice. Such as an egg white omelet. I had that with a baked potato, wheat toast, and a side of sautéed veggie- all for &13.20 with tax (2022). That price can't be beat in my opinion. I'll be back for sure read more

I ordered online on their website. Went through to a third party system like grub hub. I showed up to pick it up and was told they didn't make the order. They received the order but not the payment. Had to go through the bank to receive back payment. I ordered their and was told ten minutes. Waited thirty while the wait staff got their own food and sat down and ate while I was waiting. I don't know why the Hispanic music and nice smiley staff always put me in a good mood. I always opt to sit at the counter. The food: The breakfast food here is always so consistent. I find their potatoes to be really delicious and their bacon and sausage to taste a lot better than other joints. Get there early enough (before 12pm and everything comes with free coffee). Pretty sure I've never seen my bill over $15. Most of the time it's like $8 for a large plate of food. Don't judge my potatoes for being dark. I ask for mine extra well done lol. RUDE WAITRESSES! I came here weekly because it's the closest diner to me and the food is decent. I tip well every time. 20% or more!!!! l always hope to keep a good relationship with local places. Idk why ... maybe because I'm Hispanic and don't speak Spanish... or they mistook me for someone else ... I have no clue what it is but the waitresses go out of their way to ignore me. One time they left my toast on the counter for 15 min and I asked kindly if they could bring it to me and they giggled and said 'oh sorry." They finally brought me new toast and it was barely toasted at all. I was so disappointed. Every time it took so long to receive the check it was unbelievable. They forget to bring me water. Rarely refill my coffee. I mean it's such simple requests that they fail with. Now I travel further to go to mikes diner and they treat me amazing over there. Don't go to New Bay. I called several time to place an order and they kept leaving the phone off the hook I waited for 10 mins while I heard them serving customer all the while ignoring me! So I don't live far probably a min away so I walked to get my food I ended up ordering two French toast with meat which was 8$ on the menu they should've been 16$ they charged me 22$ and argued with me about and to make matter worst while I was there I notice when they answered the phone they would cater to the Spanish speakers while putting the phone down if you spoke English. Zero stars! Stay away from this establishment! My friend and I ordered 2 different salads that were served after 40 minutes with cheese that had fungus all over it. They claimed that this was feta cheese which is what's listed to be in the salad and that it was a brand new package. When shown these fungus they stated that it was olives. I informed them that it was not and that it even tasted expired. Their response was "no it is good feta cheese that has olives smeared into it". I told them to taste it since they were so positive and the man and the cook stated "I ain't eating that". When I said oh yea because you dont want to eat expired food he laughed and said no your fork was in it. This was so dirty and disgusting.
