A very nice place to sit and chat with friends

Got a new latte art. It is white swan. Love to see more different latte art every time here.

A nice spot, with lots of seating. I came on a Monday morning and ordered a cappuccino to stay. There weren't many pastries available so I'm even though I planned on getting one, the options were a bit limited so I passed on it. Service was friendly and polite. My cappuccino was good, a little on the thinner side though.

I wish I could pack this place up and carry it everywhere I go. Awesome staff, food is high quality, the latte is high quality. The seating, temperature . Great job Shepherds Cup I love the Turkish breakfast.

If you're on the hunt for a cafe that offers amazing lattes, a nice selection of food and pastries, a good amount of seating indoors/outdoors, and a welcoming atmosphere for studying/working away from home, this spot is worth a visit. It has a modern, casual vibe with lots of sunlight and there's a mix of people of all ages - college students/remote workers typing away on their laptops, families and young/old couples sipping and chatting. There's also a bathroom here which is a huge plus. The chai latte is my personal favorite, and I recommend giving their seasonal drinks a try (usually featured on their insta or in front of their register). At the time of this review, the seasonal drink - the houjicha latte (with just a bit more sweetener) was so nutty and delicious.

Came here to study and was on the lookout for outlets and wifi. There's some private rooms in the back that have outlets and near the couch, lots of tables with no outlet though. The WiFi was good and the food was good too nothing too special. They do offer other types of milk at an additional cost. Would come again to study especially if I got a seat in the back room

Cute cafe completely hidden in plain sight. With just enough space you can choose from a table or a couch or a work room in the back for quiet space. They serve all coffees and teas with an array of pastries and some savories from a Turkish breakfast to avocado toast or a chocolate or almond croissant. The staff is friendly and thoughtful. Definitely a gem.

What a unique concept of a Christian themed cafe! It has a beautiful ambiance from the layout to choice of decor. There is ample indoor seating and options for outdoor seating as well. There is also a private working room in the back as well. Wonderful customer service with attention to detail. My sister ordered a latte and I ordered a London Fog with almond milk. Beautiful artwork on the latte. I didn't order food this time but their unique options piqued my interest, I'll have to try their gluten free options. A great place to meet up with a friend for a light bite or coffee and teas! I highly recommend this cafe!

Yogurt parfaits, breakfast egg sandwich, almond croissant, and very good hot chocolate with such a pretty design!

Excellent service, clean and food was perfect! And served just as we ordered. Fresh ingredients, baked goods are baked there and so delicious. Cozy environment, the other customers were so nice. We will definitely be going back this week and on our return trip in a couple of weeks

Have a croilatte with me Hot chai latte and a buttery croissant on the side in this cute Turkish cafe. It was really in the spur of the moment, one bite in, I realized why not let it sit on top for a nice asthetic photo. I decided to just plop the buttery croissant and that's how the croilatte came into to the works The froth was stuck to the bottom of the croissant so with each bite it was giving me a fluffy buttery chai goodness but in a croissant. You can't beat that! Check out my blog post : https://www.eatwithemnyc.com/post/croilatte-is-it-he-new-trend

Love, LOVE this new find! My wife and I needed to get out of the home office and do our work in an outdoor setting (outside our condo anyways)! I Yelped local coffee shops and found this place; looked nice and clean, and large enough for us to be able to find space and work while enjoying a fresh iced coffee and such! Didn't realize until we came in that it's a faith-based locale with copies of the Holy Bible in several languages one can read and/or purchase, and a quiet room where you can read various Christian books, and buy them as you see fit. The ambiance is very clean, very welcoming, and the coffee and teas we ordered were fresh and delicious! From what we could see, the food various patrons ordered looked very tasty (sadly, we just ate before we came out here). And the place is in a great location with plenty of seating indoors and out for gathering with family and friends! Ample parking throughout the area too! As Christians ourselves, it was nice to find a place like this, and one that is welcoming to everyone! We'll definitely be regulars here! Amen and amen!

Very nice place. My husband and I love to come here for coffee. The staff here are very friendly! They are always smiling. This place is very cozy. The coffee and pastries are very good quality. And the autumn menu included a very tasty tomato-basil soup. I came to order this soup for lunch at least once a week. I really miss this dish. What a pity that autumn is over!

We stopped by Sheperd's Cup on a freezing day last weekend and loved our lattes & pastries - I had chocolate croissant while my husband enjoyed the almond croissant. If I'm ever in the neighborhood again, I'd def try some of their Baklavas. The cafe was amazingly clean; including the restroom. It looks like it gets cleaned frequently.

    Food

The receptionist saw me not adding a tip when checking out, what I got in return is a purchased item and she handed me a bag , never had I ever picked up my order and pack it myself. Thx though, no tips and no more customer.

They've also got amazing cakes (including a fantastic carrot cake) and a great selection of treats that keep you coming back. What really makes this place special, though, is the owner, Peter. He's always welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. He greets customers with a smile, takes the time to say hello, and creates an atmosphere that feels both personal and inviting. The staff deserves just as much praise--every single one of them is amazing: professional, friendly, funny, and kind. I've known many of them over time, and they consistently go above and beyond. Today, one of the staff members was incredibly sweet--she even brought my order out to me while I was sitting in my car. That kind of service is rare and really shows how much they care. Anyway, I was in Brooklyn with my brother to see a concert and had just finished dinner. We had some time before doors opened so we decided to grab a little ice cream before heading over to the venue. Farmacy was steps away - it all seemed like it was meant to be, so off we went. Farmacy aims to capture the nostalgia of an old fashioned soda shop and ice cream parlor. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by aesthetics - the tile, fixtures, and decor totally give off that vibe. There are a few tables to sit as well as a large bar area with stools; I also noticed a few tables set up outside as well. The traffic flow is set up so that you order first and then have it served to you after sitting. Browsing the menu, I noticed they have a selection of ice cream scoops, shakes, egg creams, specialty sodas, hot chocolates, and a large variety of sundae creations. Since we were there for ice cream, we decided to split a sundae -specifically the Sir Twix-a-Lot. This was chunks for shortcake tossed in caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream that was coated in a chocolate shell. Overall I thought the sundae was solid - but the combinations of textures weren't my favorite to be honest, mostly with how the shortcake played with the ice cream. It wasn't bad though - the flavors definitely gave the Twix aesthetic. My only other issue with the dish was that because chocolate shell was used, any residue at the bottom was hard so you have to chisel it if you want to savor any last spoonfuls; I guess that comes with the territory. Service was good - everyone was friendly. It wasn't too busy when we were there so we had our selection of seats and our ice cream was ready pretty quickly. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried Brooklyn Farmacy out - they have a large selection so I would definitely return when I'm in the area again.

Seating space (not a lot of it, so I imagine it can get packed on busy times) and bathrooms on premises. Hot chocolate was delicious. We got the spiced dark chocolate and the spices were overwhelming. Get dark chocolate without spices. The extra dollar for marshmallow made the chocolate even sweeter, so it was overwhelming and I wouldn't recommend. But. The extra dollar for whipped cream would be nice because the their homemade whipped cream isn't sweet, so it will just thicken up the drink and give you that extra texture oooomph that you'll appreciate. Torino cafe is basically coffee added to any hot chocolate of your choice. That was tasty with dark chocolate. You definitely tasted the coffee and it was less thick than regular hot chocolate (which was on a thinner, sippier side). You can sample ice cream to make your selection. It's all very sweet, so if you're looking for a less sweet option go with Belgian dark chocolate flavor. For a $18 banana split you get three scoops of ice cream and a caramelized banana. Not a big portion for such hefty price. The tiny addition of toppings didn't make this banana split come together into a cohesive dish. Would get something else next time. Definitely not a good deal. Flavor-wise, I tried the masala chai, black cherry cardamom, and the saffron soft serve. The saffron soft serve reminded me of the leftover milk from ras malai turned into soft serve, which was interesting and nostalgic. The masala chai and cherry cardamom were more subtle than I hoped. Some tasted unique upfront but left a slightly weird aftertaste that kind of lingered. I respect what they're trying to do and can see why people love it, especially if you're easing into more globally inspired desserts, but for the price, I wanted stronger flavor payoff and a cleaner finish. TLDR: Unique global inspired ice cream flavors, friendly staff, and free samples, but some flavors felt muted and had an odd aftertaste.
