While on 13ave in Brooklyn seeking a nice cup of Joe, we found a cute cafe called Twist coffee . The atmosphere is cozy cute and classy . Lounge and sip your coffee. The biscuits are delicious we choose the "s" cookies. To go with decaf coffee. Lauren her Service is great ! Smiling and sweet . Stop here

The lady who runs the coffee shop is full of smiles and very friendly. I ordered a hot americano and a plain croissant. The croissant was Costco level--and came prepackaged in plastic. The americano was good, however, and she kindly warned me that it might be too hot, which I appreciated. The interior and exterior are very clean, so if you'd like to stay and enjoy your food, you can feel comfortable doing so!

So happy to have this little gem on 13th Avenue! Dunkin was previously the only spot in the area to grab a quick coffee, so the newly opened Twist was much needed. They have ample seating inside the cafe (which, by the way, is beautifully decorated), and a nice selection of iced and hot coffees. We ordered an iced mocha with oat milk and an iced latte, light and sweet. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. I'd def choose Twist over Dunkin. It's the perfect little spot to fuel up for a day of running errands on the Avenue. Support small businesses and visit this adorable coffee spot!

Cute place, the barista was very nice and she knew exactly what she was doing. Some locals came in and she asked if they wanted their usual and recited an order that must be placed often. Would recommend. My latte with oat milk was great!

A wonderful local business. Coffee is delicious and the owner is so kind, always polite and has good vibes. Both iced and hot drinks are great. Definitely get something with espresso. Very spacious and just an overall nice place to sit, relax and enjoy your coffee.

Their pros is that they open later than the other dessert places in the area. The place is relatively clean, they also have food which isn't the best, I did experience where the cake tasted a bit off, and once I notify the staff they gave me other options of changing to something else. I do like how usually when I come during the evenings, there isn't a wait or on weekends there might be some wait but overall no complaint.

I went again after a long time and was pleasantly surprised. It was pretty empty on a Thursday night and were pretty much the only table until another table showed up later. Menu is via a QR code not an actual menu book that they used to have. Menu is pretty much the usual stuff: pot of teas, desserts, appetizers and some sandwiches. We all ordered a sandwich and got the squid appetizer and two pots of tea. The service was just ok, it was one waiter and sometimes we really had to get his attention. Didn't give us any water in the beginning and we had to ask for some near the end. The environment is the usual Prince tea environment - cafe aesthetic, nice for getting together and catching up with friends. The food was kind of pricey... but Prince tea is usually kinda pricey. But honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the food. The food all tasted pretty good. The katsu sandwich was really good, the squid appetizer good, the fries and salad not bad. The sukiyaki burger was just meh so I would recommend to skip. The two teas: lavendar milk tea and passion fruit tea were really good too. Overall: food was better than expected but pricey. Service is lacking and environment is good.

I live in Stony Brook so when the stars are aligned and there is no traffic on the Belt I can order a great cuppa coffee before work. I park across the street and was the first one in the small establishment. I see two gents hustling behind the counter and zero in on the baked goods. I'm not understanding the spiced lattes but after a few times, I'll try the Cardamom latte but for now I'm sticking with a Flat White and a freshly baked croissant. The flat white I ordered? Perfecto. If a good cup of coffee costs the same as a chain coffee slop they serve to the masses, I'll take a well crafted coffee from Clockface Coffee to start my day. Hopefully, if the traffic is light on the Belt Parkway, I can stop by in the morning. I grew up in Canarsie but all the great local places I keep finding by the job, Bay Ridge rocks!

It looks like this is a brand-new place on Grubhub. I'm…read morealways willing to support a local small business, but I also leave honest reviews so other customers know what to expect. I ordered avocado toast with eggs and a pastry. The only real positive was the bread itself, which was fresh, large, and actually tasted good. Unfortunately, that is where the positives ended. Although the avocado seemed less generic than standard store-bought guacamole, the taste was not good. The eggs were terrible -- they looked very unappetizing, tasted awful, and appeared nothing like the photo shown on Grubhub. The same photo also showed a small side salad, but no salad was included. I requested chili oil, and that was missing as well. The added cheese had virtually no flavor, so overall the dish felt careless, incomplete, and extremely unsatisfactory. I also checked the box requesting utensils, but no utensils or napkins were included. However, to be clear, this review is not about forgotten utensils. It is about the overall lack of quality, attention to detail, and customer care. The pastry was another culinary failure. It was sold under the French name -"Pan Au Raisin" but it was nothing like what real "Pain Aux Raisins " supposed to be, it was bland, greasy, oily and missing the traditional custard base plus it was delivered in an undersized paper envelope that left the food exposed, a clear violation of basic sanitary standards for food transport. Most importantly, this order caused me stomach pain and GI upset. This was the only food I had eaten in a 24-hour period, and more than 24 hours later I still felt unwell. The owner's reply to my original review was patronizing, dismissive, and refused to take any real accountability. Instead of addressing the food quality issues, the missing items, the poor packaging, and the physical reaction I had to the order, the response tried to reduce the entire problem to utensils and push the conversation into private email. I am keeping this public so other customers can make an informed decision. I wanted to support a new local business, but the bad taste, poor execution, misleading presentation, lack of care, and dismissive management made that impossible. Based on this experience, I would not order again and would not recommend this place to friends or family.
