Stopped by here quickly before going into work because I want a ham, cheese and jalapeno croissant. The girl that helped me at the front tells me the total which was $3.50. I said ok, I hand over my card to pay. The girl says to me "oh we don't take card unless it's a $8 minimum" I said ok and proceed to look to see what I should get to meet this minimum. Most places would just charge you a credit card charge for not meeting this minimum. Then she goes "what about some orange juice? It's fresh squeezed" I said fine I'll take it, I was running late and just wanted my dang croissant. Then she charges my card and goes $12.50. I walked out and I said to myself wait, did I just pay $12.50 for two things, why the heck is it so high? Then I realized their "fresh squeezed orange juice" cost me $9! $9!!!! What a rip off, she didn't even tell me the cost of the orange juice. She just charged me. I'm never coming here again, first and last time. So did the OJ and the ham, cheese and jalapeno croissant taste good enough to soften the blow of spending almost $13 at this donut shop, nope it wasn't even good! Croissant was so greasy, it's like they stuffed the hell out of it with cheese to compensated for the lack of ham. OJ was warm and tasted like it was partly made from freshly squeezed oranges and Sunny D. Yes, Sunny D, the fake OJ. Go do yourselves a favor and go down the street to Jumbo's Donuts. If you want great donuts, you need to check this place out! Ms Donuts is the best donut shop in Orange. Ever since they changed owners, the quality of the food has improved! Finding parking is such a breeze because the parking lot is quite big. Ms Donuts have plenty of donuts to choose from, but I recommend the OG glazed donuts and the breakfast croissants. You can never go wrong with the glazed donuts! For the breakfast croissant, the ham and cheese is a great choice. They also have several drinks to choose from. Go for the Thai Tea because it goes well with the croissant. I read the previous reviews about the service here, but I never had any bad experience here. One of their workers, Amy is such a sweetheart! She's always kind and friendly. Also, if you've had a bad experience here, it could be because they're open early from 3AM to 11PM. Imagine working for that long, you'd probably get tired working long hours daily. Overall, it's a great donut shop. Support locally owned shops! read more

I saw a customer who was only a few cents short of getting what they needed and the store wouldn't budge and wouldn't give them the food which is understandable but they were rude to the person and condescending when explaining that her purchase wouldn't qualify to be bought with card due to their $8 card minimum. They should lower the card minimum or let people have things when they're a few cents short. No one carry's cash these days anymore. read more

I am really dumbfounded at this company. there was a customer that was 4 cents short and the employee humiliated them in front of all of the customers. she was going to pay with her card and apparently they require an 8$ minimum (MONEY HUNGRY) they have lost my business. i realize the person was short but to humiliate them is another thing. i could tell she was on her way to work and she only wanted one item. i watched this woman go back and fourth and back and fourth to her car- while the workers just stood there with her change spread out on the counter. if i had any change i would give it to her i also did not want to spend $8 on my card. read more

The owners changed. No more awkward asian lady running the counter, and it's a damn shame. I'm really going to miss her blank stares. The new owners are pleasant but unfortunately, their donuts aren't. They look really nice but they're too doughy and sweet. They remind me of how cheap whitebread gums up in your mouth. She is not friendly and is rushing you when trying to help. She has gotten sassy with me and others of my family. Anyone that I know that has gone has had a bad experience with this lady and tells me about it. Because of this we don't come here. I decided to try it after a long time yesterday and it's still the same. She gave me my change by shoving it into my hand and it fell to the counter. This place is amazing. Definitely deserve more than three stars. They have some of the freshest and best tasting donuts in the area. Sure, it's a "hole in the wall" and you may not be expecting much based on looks. But if you're looking for donuts in the area, this place beats all others hands down. It's pretty much what you would expect from any of these mom-n-pop family owned donut shops, but the level of taste and freshness is a notch above! Fresh and 24 Hours! This place is always fully stocked and fresh as they continuously bake fresh batches during the day and night. Even if you come at 10PM or 12 AM the large donut case is full with a fresh batch in at least a third of the case. Mornings are the best. Donuts 3.5 Stars. Hours and Freshness 4.5 stars! Been patronizing this place for years because I really like the donuts. Service always left much to be desired, but for such a low value purchase, I never cared much. However, today's transaction will be my last. I was the only customer in the room. After waiting for a minute for the cashier to complete other business. I started to place my tiny order. Just two donuts. Then she stopped me and asked me if I took money from the tip jar. "What?" I asked. "There was $2 in the tip jar." I stared at her for a minute, confused as to why she would think that I, someone who had already come in 2 times that week, would be so compelled to take $2 from the tip jar. "I didn't take anything out of the jar," I answered. "OK. I'll check the cameras." All I could think was, "Is she threatening me ... over $2?" There were no other words spoken except her telling me my total. I could understand that she didn't know where the money went. And I'm even OK with her asking me if I took it. Fastest and friendliest service in the city of La Verne! Miss Donuts should be considered a landmark with how iconic their toasted bagels and iced coffees are around the community. There are days that go by when no iced coffee can replace the cravings I get for a Miss Donuts iced coffee. Also for less than $4, you get a large iced coffee ( starbucks could never).
