Pretty good. Tuesdays are my "order in" night. After my usual place failed me spectacularly last week, I decided to give mr pepperoni a try. Ordered a gyro platter, mozzarella sticks and a soda. Really generous portions of everything. Fries were hot and crispy (always an accomplishment in my opinion, rare that delivery fries don't get soggy) the side salad was actually respectable for a pizza place. Gyro and pita were, well, a gyro and pita. Not bad, not amazing, pretty much what I expected. Tzatziki sauce wasn't quite as thick as I'd like, but not a deal breaker. Nice fast delivery. I never had the pizza so this rating is inadequate in a way. But I ordered a chicken parm hero and it was not good. The sauce was overwhelming and the chicken was clearly chicken tenders and not good quality chicken cutlets. Delivery was fast and the prices were reasonable, so maybe I will try for the pizza one day. read more

This place is entirely doable if you are looking for quick cheap comfy eats. We had a large four season pizza, BBQ wings, and a garden salad delivered. The pizza was much better than expected, not too oily or salty, and interestingly the "toppings" were placed between the cheese and sauce, which was actually great as the ingredients were not dried out. The cheese wasn't of the best quality, but the bread was good. Didn't eat the BBQ wings but people I ate with said they were perfectly spicy. The garden salad had more than just romaine lettuce pieces, which was great, and I ate it with the pizza. Delivery time was 45 min pretty much exactly, and call was direct but friendly. Came here when on my tour of Herndon pizza joints. Ordered my usual, slice of cheese. I came around eleven when I assume the "pizza for slices" is still "originally" warm. The Look: Looked like pizza, the familiar pointy shape, the mouth-melting brownish colored cheese. Cheese: Whoops, did I say brown colored cheese? Well, perhaps I did, as it was indeed. No worries, it's "the finest cheese money can buy". I was familiar with this mystical cheese and I knew that when in good hands it sparkled like diamond. Today was different, today the cheese was an overdone Millard Reaction. Sauce: Not sweet, which I like, alittle heat, but too much of something. Good sauce but not best on pizza. Crust: Cracker crispy on the outside but alittle raw on the inside. Definitely a nice variation of textures. By itself it tasted like a soggy water cracker. A lovely afternoon snack but not as the foundation for my pizza. Now I get the feeling that they make a good very Cheese-Steak here but pizza wise, no thank you. Good desserts tho read more

I have ordered from this place many times and WAS impressed at the speed at which they delivered. HOWEVER, it has been 90 minutes since I placed my order and the food still hasn't arrived. I called 20 minutes ago and was told they would be here in 7-10 minutes. Well... still no food. This will DEFINITELY be the last time I order from this place because I am leaving the area. The food is usually decent, but, the 30-45 minute delivery time initially quoted is very incorrect... at least 90 minutes has passed and still no food. Okay so its a little "divey". It also happens to be walking distance from work. So for lunch its not a bad option. Granted its a not a big place, I've only had the Pepperoni pizza slices. They always come out hot, and very "greasy", but am I complaining? NO! I actually like all the butter oozing out of the cheese. HOWEVER, there isn't much taste to the sauce at all. The pepperoni doesn't have to much flavor either. The service has been good, very friendly and if not then certainly not rude at all. No its not great pizza, its not bad pizza either. This place is great, they give free BAKLAVA!!! Before you start running over here for free food, just know that I am a regular, and my buddy over there hooked me up, that one time. I have ordered the pizza for company occasions and I like it. It's nothing to scream about, but, it does the trick. Their wings however are Very good. I recommend my regular order here which is the Greek chicken salad w Italian dressing. The salad portion is very generous, so you aren't hungry afterwards. The best part is the chicken though, it is marinated and seasoned extremely well, it makes the dish special! I give it a 4 on the "Do yourself a favor!" scale. Take care, buh-bye. read more

Placed an order via GrubHub at 7:27PM and the expected delivery time was 7:57 - 8:07PM. It didn't arrive until 8:37PM. Food was okay though. Ordered their penne carbonara and the portion was larger than I expected which was a nice surprise. I just expected my food to be delivered on time. read more

I went in last week, first time since they renovated. I use to love them when I worked around there. I would get the hamburger Togo and wings for dine-in. I stopped going because the wings were starting to taste like ketchup. This time I went I did the same but the hamburger had a very bad flavor. The wings this time were great just like before when I first started going. Well I won't be going back because as I was finishing my wings I saw a cockroach going up behind the TV then I look down under my table to take my charger off the wall and then I saw another cockroach. We received a flier on our door. We saw the reviews, and decided to check it out anyway. Boy am I glad we did! This is now our favorite delivery place! The food was awesome and the delivery guy came in about 30 minutes after our order was placed. I love it because usually you are limited to Pizza and/or Chinese food when you want something delivered. Mr. Pepperoni has a huge menu with lots of choices from Gyro's, Italian Entre's to Buffalo wings and more. We love it. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers with fries, a chef salad and chicken fingers. Everything was perfect. The burgers were hot and the fries were crispy! The salad is HUGE! Really good!. The chicken fingers were very good too. And they remembered we wanted a different sauce. We stumbled on this place a couple of month ago. As we in the area for one of my kids' friends BD. we were hungry and looked for the nearest place. I am glade we did. We love their pizza and their wings are great. My wife loves their Giro salads. I ordered the Meatball Sub/Fries and a piece of carrot cake. Mediocre to say the least, was not happy with the Fries....wish they were regular fries, not fries that look like they have crust on them. The meatball sub wasn't much to be desired, I mean it was an 8 inch sub, with like three meatballs cut in half. It was more bread than meat. Bit stingy there. The carrot cake old, and I am praying that I don't pay for this later with violent vomiting! I can't comment on the pizza, it may be very good but I know for a fact that if you appreciate a delicious meatball sub, fries or carrot cake.....THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU! Any good rating of this restaurant is false or purchased by the owner. This place stinks. It is so poorly mismanaged that this restaurant should be shut down. Everything from the cleanliness of the restaurant to the food itself is worthy of a SERIOUS HEALTH INSPECTION. The delivery is extra money $$ then the owner taxes the delivery fees in with the order fees. a 14.99 order for two gyros delivery right down the road will cost you about $23 dollars. Second, if the owner doesn't feel like he has what you actually ordered, you will get what he feels like is a good replacement without any word to you. Example: Two Gyros with fries did not come as two gyros with fries, they came with cheap chips from Safeway. When I asked where my fries were he claimed he would deliver them to the house, which never happened. Lastly, the Gyros were terrible. The pita was stale and tough and the gyro was burnt to a crisp. The sandwich looked horrible, and tasted even worse. Ive ordered the sandwiches before from Mr. Pepperoni, and this restaurant is consistently unsanitary, serves bad vegetables (rotten and brown) on sandwiches and for an Egyptian manager, he does a lousy job on the Gyro. It is just plain awful. I wouldn't recommend that my enemy go eat at this place. read more

I tried the their pasta with their 'famous meatsauce' and unfortunately it was very disappointing. It was extremely bland and lacked flavor. I could only compare the taste to canned pastas that I had tried when I was younger, but even those had much more flavor than what I was served. It all tasted like it was reheated. read more

Honestly I don't understand all the bad reviews. I always get their hoagie sub toasted and it is amazing! It reminds me of the grinder at zeroes from back home. I wanted to try something different today so I got a bowl of meatballs and guess what? Also amazing! Fast delivery, nice people and good food. Gambled on the vege pizza again........ the 17$ vege thin crust pizza was a disaster. the crust was raw not cooked, the mushrooms canned and big diced chunks of green pepper. first get fresh mushrooms and learn some knife skills. thin slice the green peppers they will cook better. now that uncooked dough. you have to partially cook the dough, then add the cheese and veges. this is the only way to get that crust cooked and you dont get people sick with that enedible raw dough. unfortunatly they wont do this and i wont be ordering again. Another time it Took an hour for a delivery and when i looked at thiis mess that sat in a to go box for at least and hour it was a disaster. their lousy to begin with fries a soggy mess plopped on top of my luke warm chicken. This is the last time these jokers screw with me. Such pleasure finally deleting this place from my phone....Horrrrrahhhh! read more

This is solely a review on delivered pizza. We moved here from Boston about a year ago and found it extremely hard to find good pizza. Mr. Pepperoni is the first place we actually found to be a quality pizza with the right flavor, sauce, cheese and crust. Will definitely be ordering again and maybe trying other items too. read more

I've been going to this place for many years now and have always gotten the gyro salad. I get it about 2-3 times a week and have lost weight by doing so. I used to eat horribly but have loved the fact that the salad is a healthier choice for me and they are so close to work.
