I live within a mile of this place and probably order 2-3 times a week--bad for my waistline but great for my pallet. It's my go-to when a guest wants a good meal (w/ takeout convenience.) First of all, the service is wonderful. Anthony or one of his compatriots always deliver a warm welcome when you come in. I look forward to Anthony's polite "Thank you sir!" as I pick up my order. These are good people you're ordering from. The best thing about this place is that I'm addicted to multiple items that they do well. I swear on their Smashburgers as among the best in the area (craving one now, may have to delay review); the calzones are out of sight; and you definitely need to try the APK Cheesesteak with Cheese Whiz. When I pull up the order page, I never know what to order, but it doesn't matter because it always comes through. Great local pizza place with a very broad menu. Service was friendly and helpful. Ambiance is pretty typical of a pizza place, but the interior is cleaner and fresher than other restaurants. The menu includes sandwiches, salads, pasta, wings, pizza, etc. but I focus on pizza. The pizza dough and many ingredients are made fresh. My test for a good pizza is the flavor of the crust. This crust is flavorful even without toppings. I also ordered a small salad that was fresh and flavorful. Delicious pizza, got one that is supreme and the other one was margarita. Both were pretty tasty albeit a little bit pricey for the size. Loved the crispiness and both had solid amount of toppings. YIKES! Not sure what happened to APK (a change of management, perhaps?), but their pies are not NY-style anymore and the quality and taste has gone downhill. Our last few visits were just super disappointing - the dough/crust has gotten too thick, making it super dough-y and chewy; the slices are also overbaked. The sauce seemed to be a new recipe, and the slices that are out just seem old. There definitely is a decrease in quality of the ingredients and a lack of quality control. I got a medium pizza today (Christmas eve day) for lunch. We hadn't eaten there before so it was a test. I wanted to get a half-baked pizza that I could finish cooking at home for that melty, just out of the oven experience. It wasn't on their website, but they were quite willing to accommodate It was delicious. The crust is a thin NY style that is light with just a hint of chew. The sauce is nicely red with hints of tomato and basil but not overwhelming in either, even on the cheese half. The star of the show was the italian sausage chunks. Delicious. I got the medium but noticed that their per-slice pies are like 20 inches. They don't sell the 20 inch for carryout. Maybe if the owner gets some inquiries? read more

Took a look at their menu and saw they have pizzas with a Korean twist, so I was intrigued. Their dough makes their pizza/garlic knots. It's so good FOOD: ~Garlic knots (5/5): OMG so good.. so soft and flavorful and buttery ~Pepperoni pin wheels (3/5): Had yummy crispy bits of cheese that was so good. a little dry, but with the sauce it wasn't bad ~Supreme Pizza (5/5): Love how thin the veggies were sliced and so it was cooked all the way through ~Korean Pork Pizza (4/5): comes with kimchi on it and at first it was confusing, but I could not stop eating it! It was so good ~Bulgogi Pizza (5/5): again had kimchi on it, but the beef pieces and mushrooms elevated this pizza and was a great combo ~Wings (1/5): we got the wings the first time we came and got two different flavors. Anthony's is an excellent spot for a weekday lunch or really any day. Their lunch specials were great and portions, plentiful. A $5 two topping slice and a drink is a good deal. My daughter ordered a slice with two toppings and declared this restaurant to have the best pizza she has ever had in her life. The mozzarella sticks are excellent and super crispy and clearly not some frozen type that come from a bag as so many other places sell. I ordered a lunch meatball sub and upgraded to French fries, which comes with a drink. The fries were super crispy and delicious. The sub roll from the meatball sub was toasted, which is a nice touch. So many other places skip that step. We've ordered here a few times and never had an issue until today. We ordered a single burger for our daughter and selected our options, to include lettuce, tomato and American cheese. All we got was a patty and bun.... Very disappointing. We also placed the order online and was planning to have my husband pick up the order so I included his name under who is picking it up. However, that somehow did not make it to the order either. Luckily I went in to pick it up, as my husband stayed in the car to feed our baby. I had to show them my confirmation. Hopefully this will not happen again in the future, should we decide to order here again. APK brings amazing brick style pizza to this area! The dough is perfectly thin and crispy, can fold it and eat it which is a plus! All ingredients were fresh, the sauce was perfectly tangy and sweet and the cheese pull was satisfying. The wings were out of this world as well! They were crispy with nice air pockets and the sauces were delicious, not salty which is a plus. Now, their subs! They're made with amoroso rolls, A+++!!! New Korean owned pizza place in Centreville next to Choong man. Ordered carryout for my hubby and son around 4pm. Place was very clean and only one person at the counter but it was very early so wasn't expecting it to be busy. Owner was very nice and pizzas were ready when I got there. It was a 45 min drive home so we had to reheat a little. Both were 12" one a meat lovers and one margarita...nice thin crust and the flavors were on point. I took a bite from both and would agree that both were pretty good. I think the price is a bit high at $17 for the 12" since other comparable pizza places are cheaper. The pizza dough is excellent! Just enough crunch on the crust and pull in the rest. They have so many unique offerings too! The Korean Pork pizza is my favorite. Authentic kimchi and Korean flavored sausage, just yum! We also had a buffalo chicken pizza that had just enough blue cheese without being overpowering. My kids love their cheese and pepperoni pizzas (all kids favorites toppings right?!) and their calzones are giant and delicious. Don't forget to try to donkatsu sub or Philly cheesesteaks. So good! Place has good pizza to my surprise. Been living here a few years and never tried it until recently. Not sure if new owners or what but it rivals for best pizza in the area. Was craving pizza last night and saw a lot of positive reviews for Anthony's Pizza Kitchen. Wasn't sure what to get so I decided to get the supreme pizza. The website was a little misleading because it shared a menu with a bunch of different types of pizza and one price so i wasnt aware there were different sizes. As far as the pizza itself goes, it was pretty average. There was really nothing unique about the crust, sauce, or toppings. Compared to the bigger pizza chains, Anthony's Pizza Kitchen was on Par with texture and taste which actually says alot about the product. The vegetables were a little raw after going through the oven so that could have been better. what was hard to justify for me was the price i paid for the large supreme. I could have easily gotten the same pizza with the same crush, flavor, and toppings for much less. My new go-to pizza spot in Centreville. I've tried many things on their menu and the food is amazing--I'll leave my specific recommendations below. Food - PIZZA: Their large pizzas have a great crust to topping ratio. It's NY-style, so thin and crispy/chewy. I really like their white sauce pies with pineapple, spinach, tomato, and garlic aioli. - CALZONES: Their calzones are UNDERRATED. I don't even like calzones but these blew me away. Great ratio and they're HUGE. - DONKATSU SUB: I've never seen this on a menu before so I had to try it. Really good. Something about their bread... - RANCH: Get the side of ranch to dip your crust or calzone in. It's house-made and comes out with the wings but not with the pizza unless you order it. - FRIES/MOZZ STICKS: I am very picky about my fries but theirs are really good. HIGHLY recommend both their fries and mozz sticks. Atmosphere: it's a fast casual place but clean with plenty of seating even for large groups. There's a room in the back that can be reserved for children's birthday parties, which is a great idea. And they serve beer and wine for $5-6, which is great for parents. Service/delivery: Service in-person is great. Clearly a family-run business. They're on Uber eats and Doordash but they also have pickup and delivery on their website directly for less $$. read more

My go to pizza!! I love me a good slice of NYC style cheese pizza and this hits the spot! Love the korean pizza options as well. My current favorite is the Bulgogi but my friends love the korean pork. Also can't go wrong with their garlic knots. They have so much garlic on top (I dream of them). I recently had the philly cheese steak pizza and that was amazing. Unfortunately, that has to be a whole pizza, but not unfortunately because it was good.
