'Detroit style' pizza you say? Nah, I'm from NYC and only have new york thin crust pizza bro. I have to try Jet's? OK.. let's give it a shot. It's carry out only so that's one thing to be aware of. It also looks just like a Papa Johns or Dominos so that's another. Well, take that pizza home and take a bite because it is pretty damn good stuff. It is a good change of pace from my typical New York slice addiction and I am happy we tried it. Will periodically hit em up for a Detroit pizza fix. read more

I ordered delivery from Jets Pizza in Herndon for dinner, and overall, it was a solid experience. The delivery was prompt, arriving in under 30 minutes, even during what seemed like a busy evening rush. I went with their classic cheese pizza, and I have to say, the quality is there: fresh toppings, plenty of cheese that pulls just right, and that signature Detroit style crust that's crispy on the edges with a nice chew inside. It's hearty and satisfying, especially if you're in the mood for something substantial. That said, I think my enjoyment was tempered a bit because I'm more of a New York style pizza fan: thin, foldable slices with that tangy sauce dominance. Jets' thicker, square cut pies are great for what they are, but they didn't quite hit the spot for me in the same way. Still, if Detroit style is your thing, this place delivers reliably. I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5 and might order again for their wings or salads next time. Decent spot for the area! read more

I was looking up food to grab while in the area and stumbled upon this place. You can call in an order. Online order or text in an order. I placed it online and it was ready when I got there. The location was easy to get to and a lot of parking. The pizza was yummy and I loved that the slices came in individually boxes. Will order here again when in the area. read more

We had never heard of Jet's Pizza until a flyer with coupons came in the mail announcing the opening of one in Herndon. Last week, we finally ordered one using a coupon that offered up a small pizza with one topping for $13.99. Pizzas can be ordered online or by text in advance. We chose to stop in on our way home and place our order there. They specialize in deep dish Detroit style pizzas. Two brothers, Eugene and John Jetts, opened their first shop in Sterling Heights, MI in 1978. Eventually, they opened more locations while working with their cousins and formed Jet's America. They trademarked their square deep dish pizza, including an "8 corner pizza". Currently, they have franchises in 22 states. If you are interested in learning more, here's the link to the wiki page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jet's_Pizza Their shops are set up as take out only. We found that there was adequate room for a few people to wait inside for their orders. When we ordered our pizza, they said it would take 15 minutes. Since the weather was nice, we waited outside. For our one topping, we chose bacon. The amount given was generous and when we got our pizza, we could smell the bacon. The crust is thick yet soft and the sauce has good flavor. We enjoyed it and found that a small pizza was just enough for the two of us. We will be back for more pizza! read more

We called in for pick up of 3 pizzas - thin crust cheese; special, and buffalo chicken ranch and cheese bread but forgot to opt for Detroit style because it was not one of the choices on Jet's menu posted online. When we brought our orders home and opened it, our pizzas to our dismay were dry, thin crust that taste like cardboard, and moreover stingy on the toppings! Our mistake was we did not open the boxes and check at pickup if our pizzas were done right BEFORE taking them home. We trusted Jet's Pizza that we were getting quality pizza it boasts on their website of "delivering truly better pizza...using their core ingredients since day one" but it miserably failed on our orders! So, for takeouts or delivery from this pizzeria, check what's inside your boxes before taking them home or accepting delivery because you may end up with junk. Vocelli's, we will be back! Also of note, this Jet's pizza branch is located in a small strip mall off Herndon Pkwy and Elden Street, and set up as a narrow pick up nook next to PotBelly and an Indian restaurant on the other end so, it is not a dine-in restaurant. If you want to "eat in", there are 2 plastic tables with about 2 plastic chairs parked on each table in front of this Jet's pizza location where you can have an enhanced al fresco dining experience inhaling fumes from cars driving by or picking up their orders at Jet's or restaurants next door, people watch, and eavesdrop on chatters close by. read more

FOOD We ordered the Jet 10 8 corner pizza, which was absolutely stellar. The edges were crispy and well seasoned, and the toppings were plentiful and packed punches of flavor. Considering it's a thick-crust pizza, I was surprised I wasn't too overwhelmed with the dough-to-topping ratio, but I did wish we ordered extra sauce. I do recommend eating the pizza within the first hour, as the crunch of the slice the next day can't be replicated when reheated in the oven or air fryer. DRINKS Various fountain drinks from bottles to liters of cherry cola and other carbonated beverages. SERVICE The staff are very kind and friendly! We ordered twenty minutes before arriving, and our order was just being finished. Their timing is impeccable, and we only really had to wait for the staff to add seasonings to the pie. AMBIANCE The location is strictly takeout, and there are not seating areas inside. The interior is also very clean and tidy. PARKING Ample parking is available in the plaza lot. read more

Heard a lot about it, so stopped by Jets's Pizza in Herndon. Did t know, until we walked in, that they're strictly take-out or delivery. We took home an 8 corner Detroit style pizza. The crust was delicious, and the sauce and cheese were flavorful. I've never had Detroit style before, and I would have been happier with less cheese on top. But it was a very tasty pizza. Next time I'll try one of their toppings. For people that enjoy the corner slice of a square pizza, the 8-corner option is for you. The people who work there were very nice. I'll definitely return to try some toppings. read more

One of my favorite fast food pizzas. We order Jet's at work frequently at work, and I can't wait to have their Pepperoni pizza, I normally don't order pepperoni in other places, but their pepperoni comes out a bit burned and crunchy, I just love it. Their dough is also very good and fatty. I don't think you would be disappointed. Also, the leftovers are even better next day :) For Pi day, make sure you order in advance. I have not been in the restaurant itself, so cant speak about it. read more

We ordered Uber Eats. It took a little while for the food to arrive, but it did arrive very hot and fresh! We ordered a large BLT pizza, a large build your own pizza, a build your own boat, sides of ranch and marinara sauces. Everything was absolutely delicious!! We will definitely be ordering from here again!! read more

Surprisingly good. We were on the lookout for thick crust/deep dish to appease a family member. They were very happy with the pizza, and that we didn't have to drive out to Rockville for CSNY. The crust was great, the sauce was good enough, the toppings were good. It wasn't too greasy. It was good, we all enjoyed it. The menu wasn't immediately obvious -- XL is 4 more pieces than the 8 corner (12 pieces total) I think they cut the 8 corner up to crisp it. I'd plan 1-2 pieces per adult and 1 per kid. Far better than ledo, dominoes, etc. Better than I remember Pizza Uno being. I just personally prefer thin crust or DOC Italian and that's just a whole other thing. read more

Nothing beats a Jet's Pizza! No seriously they have the best pizza ever. Jet's hits your taste buds like no other local pizza that I know of. If you like Detroit style pizza (similar to deep dish) you will love it. Its crave-worthy for all the right reasons- thick, airy crust with crispy, fried edges, cheese baked right to the pan that caramelizes into irresistible crunchy corners, and perfectly balanced between soft, crunchy, cheesy, and saucy. They have all the customizable options you could possibly want (I even got popcorn chicken on top). Plus you can get a discount by texting your order to their AI-ordering service. read more

After getting a coupon flyer in the mail, I decided to give Jet's Pizza a try! I do love a good Detroit-style pizza, and Jet's has not disappointed. I've ordered several times and each time the quality has been great. My only complaint is that it's nearly impossible to apply a coupon online and I've had to call each time. Service has always been friendly and easy to work with. The crust on the pizza is spectacular, everything you want in a Detroit-style pizza! Crust to dough to topping ratio was perfect each time. The cheese sticks were delish as well. Delivery was fast and pizza was always hot. I keep going back to Jet's - you should too! read more

Man, this place is so good. The pizza is so authentic, the cheese and the sauce. My advice is to call ahead because they get busy. The service could be a little better. I'm a big fan of deep dish and I was really looking forward to trying their pizza! It did not disappoint!! Reminds me of Little Beast's Detroit style, thick crust crispy on the outside fluffy soft inside, plenty of toppings and options to create the perfect pizza for you. For example, I prefer a light hand with the sauce and I was able to request it! For the pizza, 5 !! But I also ordered the chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Hard to mess up a chocolate chip cookie but it was messed up. The cookie was a bit too browned, no biggie, but the cookie was bland and not as many chips as you might expect. Stick with the refrigerator brands. Maybe they should just bake theirs? One off for a very boring sub par cookie . read more

I was excited to try JETS considering how much hype has been built around it and unfortunately I was disappointed. I ordered the 8 corner pepperoni pizza and the deep dish bread with a liter of coke. Cheese sticks we're good tasty and garlicy, but the pizza on the other hand huge let down the dough had a funny taste and I believe caused myself and partner food poisoning I have yet stopped going to the bathroom it's been 3 days. Not to mention they skimped on the pepperoni only 2 pcs per slice it just felt like a cheese pizza at the end of the day. For $35 I rather spend my bread else where. Service was average as you'd expect and the place was in okay condition when it came to tidiness. read more

Amazing Detroit styled pizza!! I'm a crust girly but some places put too much sauce on top, making the bread soggy by the time it's delivered. But this place has nailed to portions perfectly! I've also had their thin crust and enjoyed it just as much, definitely not New York styled but it's still delicious. I've only ordered delivery from here so I can't speak on the service or ambiance but they're my go to pizza spot near my home. read more

Delicious! Fast delivery and hot!! The pizza was as close to Detroit style as it gets!!

Pie was good. We had it to go but next time I think we will have to eat it at the store. The moisture from the box made the dough a bit soggy. It tasted great and I believe eating it fresh from the oven will make the experience better. read more

Pizza is pretty good, but it's awfully expensive. I paid over $38 for a large 8-corner pizza, and I assumed I could get the advertised discounts, but ordering through the app was really frustrating. For ex., under "My Account", I see "Redeemed '50% OFF 1 Large Pizza", "Redeemed '20% Off Your Entire Order'", etc., yet I never received such discounts. I tried to order on the app about four times before calling, and I was told I would get a free order of cinnamon stix, yet when I got to the location, they were not prepared, so I had to wait another 12 minutes for them. I will not be ordering from Jet's again. There are other pizza places that are just as good but cheaper. read more

The store is pick up only on the inside, no tables. Pizza was ready in 15-20 minutes, very fast. I used the ai ordering on the phone, it worked great. This was my second experience eating Detroit pizza. My first was with little beast. I usually get neopolatin style pizza but wanted to venture out.
