I used the Grub Hub app to order from NKD Pizza. When the order arrived, it was from Pizza Boli's. I was absolutely confused. And then pissed when I tasted the food. I specifically ordered from NKD Pizza because they used better ingredients than other restaurants. So to get food from a completely different restaurant was beyond disappointing. AND my order was wrong. So I called Grub Hub for a refund and to give them a heads up that they needed to remove NKD Pizza from the app as it'd been taken over by a different restaurant. I also requested a refund because it's obviously unacceptable and bizarre to order from one restaurant and get food from another (and get the wrong order). Later, someone from Pizza Boli's calls me - absolutely rude and unprofessional. When I tell him that the order was wrong and made to a completely different restaurant, he tells me that they won't be issuing a refund - Grub Hub will have to do that - and that they'll be coming back to get the food. *slow clap* He really thought he'd burned me there. If you want to send your driver back out here to pick up food you have to throw away (unless they were really engaging in some crazy business practices), be my guest. Waste your driver's time and gas if you want to. So I called Grub Hub back to report this interaction with the restaurant. The original guy (or maybe someone different) calls back to say I can keep the food as a courtesy. Get the f*** out of here with that nonsense. You aren't doing me any favors keeping trash food I didn't want in the first place. But I do wonder who overheard that interaction and realized exactly how deeply stupid that first call was. Hell yea, so glad this opened. Pizza Boli is the best cheap chain delivery place in the DC area in my opinion. Super cheesy, sauce isn't too sweet or too heavy, and the crust is nice and soft. Open until 1:00 am on weekends, which is clutch. The only thing is their sausage is gross. Like school lunch pizza gross. But all the other toppings I've had are good so whatever. Like any cheap chain delivery place, don't order without a coupon, but usually they have decent ones on their website. Northern Virginia is not known for very good pizza, most places are processed or chains with predictable products and pretty much unremarkable offerings. This rating is against this scale, meaning Boli's probably wouldn't last long in Brooklyn but is exceptional here near Reston. The staff of efficient and friendly and, as stated, the pizza is pretty darn good- particularly for northern Virginia. My wife loves the vegetable pizza and I have enjoyed a few different types. Give this place a try- you will be glad you did. read more

This is definitely my favorite pizza. I'm stuck on the Mediterranean pizza but go to the old school pepperoni every once in a while. The ingredients are so fresh, outta what sets them apart from the typical. And the price is for quality is a steal. It's really kept secret. The family and I eat here once a week religiously. By far the worst experience ever! I had ordered pizza for my friend because he was sick. The driver, Neel, tells me my friend has to come to the community gate to get the pizza outside. This is a condominium and I've ordered 100 times before. I've told him I have never heard of this. He argues with me saying he's wasting his time here and has more deliveries. He makes it into the gated community but says he refuses to go to the door which is only a couple of steps away. Long story short he told me he has other deliveries and will not deliver the pizza to the door. What kind of pizza delivery service is this. He told me his manager said to go to the next delivery as well. Can I also mention the estimated delivery time was 1:35 and he gets there around 2 PM. Worst customer service ever! I even explained to him how this was a surprise for my friend and how he was sick but he kept saying how he risked everything to come into the gated community, he can't walk to the door. I was a big fan of Pizza Boli's when they had a Herndon location, which has since has closed, so I was happy to see them open a new location up in Reston. Something about their pizza that I find tastier than Pizza Hut or Dominoes. Unfortunately, I just had a sub-optimal experience ordering from Boli's which is tampering my enthusiasm for patronizing their store. The online website for the Reston store offered a two topping pizza with 9 wings and a soda for $21.49. I wanted to order online, but the offer page did not contain a "buy here" link or a coupon code. Instead, it offered a "download here" link which opened up pdf with the header "PIZZABOLIS.COM ONLINE COUPON" and content that rehashed the deal. Again, no coupon code listed. No "buy here" link. Unsure of how to order this deal online, I called the store to order over the phone. The phone rep taking my order was unfamiliar with a special listed on the website. I had to correct him on price and number of wings. He told me to bring in the coupon. I wanted to order mushrooms for one topping and split the other topping into two half toppings. Rep told me that this wasn't permitted. So, for example, if I wanted mushrooms on the whole + half pepperoni and half Italian sausage, that would count as three toppings. Is this some new policy among pizza merchants? I have never experienced this before. At pick up, I was never given a line itemized receipt where the price of each item was listed. Each item had a sticker with the total price of order, but no paper anywhere listed all the items ordered. The rep told me that my special was for online orders only and not good for phone orders: a) No where on page describing the special does it mention that the deal is only valid for online orders. The download pdf link does have a "PIZZABOLIS.COM ONLINE COUPON" mention, but that isn't all that specific. That could simply indicate the special was listed online, not necessarily that it had to purchased online. b) if this was an online only order, than the site needs to provide a way to order it online via 'click here to purchase' link. None was provided. The lack of ability to order online was the reason for phone order in the first place. The rep claimed to give me the credit, but I don't know if he actually did since I was never given a line itemized receipt. This was part of a larger order with other elements included. Lastly, I complained about my experience on a form on the Pizza Boli's website. I haven't received a response. It doesn't appear that Pizza Boli's has a process in place to review and critique complaints from dissatisfied customers. read more

Went to pizza bolis today to pick up food . Saw the guy in the back making the sub with no gloves on so i tried to take a picture of it but i couldn't so i let it be . I asked the other guy why dont you guys wear gloves to make food ? He said he washes his hands and hes not supposed to wear gloves and also said " you are not allowed to take our picture and if i see this photo online i will deal with you' ? Deal with me ? Peckish already, the hunger-inducing aroma(which is really good, better than of most of the pizza places) acted as catalyst and I dug into the smoking-hot, toothsome  pizza. For someone from India, the size of Pizzas here in America is enormous- a glaring welcome change, which is. This pizza also comes with a garlic sauce(more like garlic butter) and I asked for some crushed peppers to tailor the hotness-level suiting my Indian palate. A morsel of hot, fresh and soft pizza is what defines a slice of Pizza Boli's pizza. The base was fresh and soft, wow-soft; the pizza sauce - wow-tangy; laden with generous amount of good quality cheese. Their garlic sauce is the final flourish. Dip the crusts into it and let yourself immerse in the goodness of simple flavours. This pizza is all you would need to calm your hunger pangs and satiate your soul. ORDERING: I received a flyer with the usual grand opening offer from Pizza Boli's here in Reston VA and I selected the one X-Large 3-Topping Pizza for $14.99, and the addition of 2nd X-large 3 topping pizza for $9.99. I also ordered a jumbo slice of chocolate cake and their cinnaboli sticks. Upon check out I entered the coupon code and finished the transaction. When I saw the bill it said I paid $18.00+ dollars for the first pizza and $20.00+ for the second -- a $23.00 difference. When I called the store and explained the situation he told me to cancel the online order (I was still in their website) and he would take the order over the phone and apply the discounts (there was another $3.00 discount for ordering online). We tried to find the means by which we could cancel the order but the site does not allow you to do that unless (perhaps) you are a registered customer (I had not registered). The best that the person on the phone could offer me was a $4.00 discount on my next purchase! $26.00 worth of discounts versus the $4.00 offering. So the poor delivery man is not going to get a tip and the store will not get future business from me, my family, nor my friends. This is where the business person steps up to make things right and he failed miserably. DELIVERY: Delivery is supposed to be within approx. 45 minutes and the driver showed up within 35. The pizzas were hot, truely X-Large and they didn't skimp on the toppings. My total bill was $54.00+. THE FOOD: As mentioned the pizzas were X-Large, my daughter really liked her barbecue chicken pizza and I thought the flavor of the meaty pizza was pretty good too. The chocolate cake was generous in size though I believe it had been frozen because the plastic fork would not penetrate more than 2/3 of the way from top to bottom of the cake and it was dry. The cinnaboli sticks were also appreciated by my daughter last night and, as I write this with my morning coffee, I've nuked one of the sticks to have with my coffee and they are pretty fair (probably better the first day). RECOMMENDATION: I can't appreciate the issues with opening a new chain restaurant store because I've never done that. I have, however, experienced great customer service and provided it in my employment endeavors.The food would have rated two and a half to three stars but the experience would have wiped that out an plunged the rating into the negatives. Bottom line: go to your favorite pizza place or bring home a DiGiorno, a good bottle of red and a tub of Ben&Jerry's and skip the "adventure" of ordering from this store. read more
