TL;DR: Good pizza, large portion, nice price point Discovered Benny's while out of town and decided to give this local location a try, and it was just as good! Not sure what type of pizza I would categorize it, but the pizza has a normal crust, and the rest is more like thin crust in terms of texture. It has a great chew and really good flavor too. You can get by the slice or a whole pie. The slices are MASSIVE. The sauce, cheese, and topping ratio is great too. Will definitely be returning! read more

The pizza was amazing. I made the mistake of ordering 2 slices. Instant food coma!! Next time I'll start with one and then maybe another. Great beer selection too. No issues with how the service was. Hidden gem in Manassas! Saw some viral videos of this place on TikTok and was eager to try their oversized pizza. Reminds me of the pizza places in NYC or even DC's Adams Morgan (who remembers going here after midnight after a night out lol). Staff was friendly. They have beer there and also ice cream sandwiches in a freezer. The pizza was delicious and the sauce was flavorful. The pizza is so big that it barely fit through the restaurant door and our house door. I drove my car to pick it up and had to put the pizza in the trunk. If I knew it was that big then I would have drove my SUV lol. This is probably the pizza the Ninja Turtles would eat if they were hosting a large family gathering during Thanksgiving. We got the half cheese half pepperoni pizza. You might think $40 for a single pizza is overpriced but the slices are huge! It is the size of 2-3 regular sized pizzas. Stopped by on a Friday Night and it was PACKED. Everywhere else in downtown was also slammed so we went for something quick and easy. They had only two options, cheese or pepperoni. Service was assembly line style. The Cashier took orders/took payment, while another distributed slices. Service ran smoothly and without issue. You cannot go wrong with a Bennys slice! I was really excited when I saw that Benny's was coming to manassas. As I really enjoyed it at their Fredericksburg location. I don't eat pizza often, but when I do. I want Bennys. Purely because the size and it's delicious! The specialties are fun but the classics are where it's at and the price is decent! The service is fairly quick though depending on if you get a specialty, you may wait a little. The restaurant seems small but there are seat along the bar area and in the back. read more

I love the pizza here. It's the best place to go if you're really hungry and only want a slice because that is pretty much all they do. And they do it BIG. They have some great beer and ciders here as well. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the relaxed atmosphere is very welcoming. I recommend this restaurant. The pizza slices are the biggest I ever had. I am a hard pizza critic. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY; and I am always in search of good pizza in the DMV. Benny's was recommended to me by two people. After a day at social security I headed for pizza. I ordered a slice with extra cheese. The slice was nice and thin the way I like it. However, it did not appear to have extra cheese, and if it did, I can't imagine what a regular slice would have tasted like. Everything about the pizza was great except for the sauce. It was not extraordinary. Had the sauce been as exquisite as the pizza's taste, and size, it would have gotten a 4. The sauce is mildly tart and leaves an after taste. Comparing Benny Vitali's in FXBG this place is similar in look and feel. Hip, young, cool atmosphere. But the pizza is not completely on par w it's counterpart. It isn't bad, just "meh". My whole fam went after my son's early am bball game and I was a little let down by the flavor. It reminded of the many places I've gone that have some type of gimmick or oddity to stand out. Here, like other Benny's it I'd the enormous size of a pizza. A whole pizza can only fit in the trunk of a car. Most places I've been sacrifice quality for the appeal of its uniqueness. First off I love the employees here. Absolutely wonderful people! They are a lot of fun, and truly super to everyone. It is a clean location as well. Parking is a cinch with the nearby garage. Benny's is unique with its 28" pizzas. My son and I have enjoyed this place, but have to be honest about a couple things. This is an expensive pizza at that size. Their IPA selection is quite high too. As for the quality it's okay, but our whole family found the pizza salty. We are pizza snobs, so take this with a grain of salt per that previous sentence. Their pizzas cheese and ingredients are average. That's an opinion so, with that being said, go here for the fun and pleasant atmosphere. The novelty factor alone is quite hilarious. Called in our pizza order and the girl was super friendly and nice so A+ on phone service! The pizza was done on time but hubby was late driving around for a parking place. He ended up parking in the bank parking lot and walking over. The pizza was great and the price for a whole pie is definitely worth it! The crust wasn't too thick and the ingredients tastes fresh! Ok, so while I was in the store thinking about what I'm going to post online, it hit me that Bennys is a great little place to take someone on a casual date. The ambiance is very cool and super chill yet clean. The prices per slice are between $5.50-$6.50, and they are humongous. I think rating the pizza itself is dependent on the person and their taste buds. I myself, loved the size of the pizza (it reminds you of a true NY slice) but the tomato sauce was a bit too tart for me personally. However, I think everyone should try it at least once because it's an experience! read more

I was with my boyfriend and a friend of his. It is my first time in West Virginia. I loved the pizza so much like the flavor and taste were perfect. Customer service was above and beyond. I loved the inside and the decorations and the interior. I even purchased a T Shirt. I hope to return to this location in the near future. I wish they put more locations all over the country. Employees went above and beyond in service. This place is so much better than Wingstop. One day I plan on buying the whole pizza and maybe transporting it home. I think The first place I had Bennys was at VCU and then in Fredericksburg! It's in the perfect visible spot with ideal two hour and 15 minute parking slots open in front for a quick carry out! They do not currently offer delivery but I hope that will change! Upon calling the restaurant you get some great customer service and on the spot timing of when your Za will be ready piping hot! I called at 1pm and picked up just in time for my 7:15 pickup time! Pizza was hot and smelled HEAVENLY. They have a few monthly specialty creations: I tried the garlic mushroom! They also had buffalo chicken and brushetta!! It has only been a mere five days since its grand opening but word has traveled like wildfire! Families can sit in and dine in the restaurant with some booths OR anybody hopping in can grab a bar seat for a tasty post work treat. I was so impressed with their wide selection of sodas with classic brands and unique organic fines. They also have a small freezer of ice cream's! I did not know that they recently got their liquor license and you can grab a five dollar can of a local brew on the side of your yummy slice. I picked up a strawberry jam cider and I took a citrus IPA home for the boyfriend! It is really a one stop shop perfect for a family dinner casual date or quick late night snack after bar hopping in downtown! I cannot underestimate the size of that box it did not fit in my regular car door so I had to put it in the trunk Dash definitely make sure you plan accordingly! The most obvious unique feature for Benny's is the size! One slice is huge!! It's decent for the price! The flavor is pretty good as well. Is it the best pizza I've ever had? My husband and I frequently visit Benny's in Manassas. Heck, my husband even wore his Benny's shirt to dinner. We always enjoy the fun atmosphere and pizza. We went last night 04/26/2024 (Friday night pizza) and it was awful! Both service and pizza were not great ..... Service - they usually have this sour beer that I enjoy. And normally, if they don't have it the crew is usually so nice to give great suggestion. Well I asked for my normal sour and the girl working the register instantly said "we don't have it" and was NOT interested in suggesting another option. She acted as though my husband and I coming in (there was no one behind us) was a huge inconvenience. Then there were these "friends" sitting at the bar top that she continued to chat with and even said "I hate when people want to talk beers, then it can cause a line and it's so annoying." Need I say more.... Pizza - the gentleman making the pizza was not consistent with the pizzas. Some came out burnt, others not cooked enough, and he had the personality of a wet blanket. Not interested in talking to anyone at the top bar at all.... Long story short my pizza was super burnt and my husband's undercooked. So I was looking for the best pizza in Virginia, ended up coming here since everyone was raving about it. Here is a whole review for the pizzas I ordered. The place was presentable and the prices were overly priced. Downside, but I was expected for large pizza with delicious taste. Ordered three pizzas, chorizo with queso added pepperoni, Garlic with Mushroom, and cheese pizza. The pizzas were Ight but not for the hype, they were good but not for the hype they were given. The pizzas where crunchy with bread being chewable not soft. Have to chew down. The cheese was good but not crazy compared to Amazon fresh new store with their pizza being tasty cheesy dough. Second pizza was the garlic mushroom pizza, sadly was disappointed that the mushroom not being fresh. I expected fresh mushrooms. The best pizza overall had to be the chorizo with queso added pepperoni. Only due to the pepperoni added into the mix for the spice. It was better to have that but without it in the recipe would fall due to the lack of texture and flavor. read more
