I ordered 2 large pizzas. One Xtra cheese. The other Italian sausage and green peppers. I had the sausage and peppers. First, it was the best pizza I have had in recent years Huge pieces. hottt. Just perfect. i was informed the same about the other pie A little more than I'm Used to paying at Domino's, but I didnt want to cook. So, fast forward to Feb 11. Yrs Ordered one large pizza with sausage and green peppers. Only 3 of us, and the Kid got The Bell. So it took a long time to be delivered. I was served 2 slices on a plate.They were like half the size of the ones we got last Friday. I had ONE Half inch piece of green pepper. The pizza was mediocre at best. Not hot. Barely lukewarm. Apparently Tony's was closed on Christmas day but failed to tell it's own website or Doordash. Both stated it was open and was taking orders. After our gift exchange with family and friends we discussed several different options but agreed that we would order Pizza, Wings, etc. Website said food would arrive in 45 minutes. We all hungrily awaited the arrival. After about 90 minutes, called Tony's. The phone just rang and rang. No answer and no message (that they were closed). I initially assumed they were just busy. After 2 hours it became obvious that they were closed. Yet, my credit card was charged the full price with tip. What a horrible and embarrassing experience. read more

Not your typical mom and pop. Well, the food is fantastic and the prices are just right - so definite mom and pop there. VERY CLEAN, fresh paint, tables give mom-n-pop vibes for sure. The staff is kind and nice enough to walk me through some of the modifications I can request to make it just right! A Great place for pizza in the Manassas area. I was in the area visiting family and decided to try this restaurant. It is on the corner of a set of stores off the southeast side of Centerville road. There is plenty of parking directly in front of the store. It seems a very popular spot as they were very busy at the time that I went with a lot of their business from carry-out. The store has a counter that wraps around and allows all to see into the kitchen. You are greeted with the aroma of freshly baked pizza as soon as you enter. The interior is white tile floor with 1/2 the space dedicated to the kitchen and the other 1/2 to the dining area. There are about 15 4-person black wood tables and a few booths. If you can't tell from the name, the menu features a variety of traditional and specialty pizzas made with fresh ingredients and a homemade sauce and other Italian fare like hearty pasta dishes, calzones, and fresh salads. I ordered ahead and the food was ready when we arrived. The staff was friendly, busy and efficient. The prices were reasonable for our current economy. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was excellent. Overall, whether you're grabbing a quick slice for lunch or enjoying a family dinner, Tony's Pizza offers a taste of Italy in the heart of Manassas, making it a must-visit for locals and visitors alike. read more

Stopped in to eat after a middle school basketball game. The service was phenomenal and the food was delivered very quickly. We had 8 people and had a large order. Could not have been happier with the experience dining here. Tony's is a great local pizza joint if you are looking for a change of pace and more of a NY style za. The kids love the cheese and bacon pizzas and my wife and I like the salads. Good house vinaigrette! I love the Strombolis and Calzones! Really good! And the owners and staff really care about the community. I know more than one example of when they encouraged me or someone I know who was having a bad day. That part is what really makes me appreciate them. The only think I could think of for improvement is a little better and more pizza sauce, and wish they had a nice area to sit and dine in. But we usually get carry out which is fine. I go to this place to get something to eat. I order what I want . I go to pay and this guy asking the guy that took care of me what size calzone did I get. I ordered med the guy tells him med he then goes to the back and ask the cook what he made , cook says large calzone he proceeds to charge a lg calzone. Mean while I asked for med so now whatever you asked for is irrelevant. Horrible customer service. Tony's Pizza - Manassas (Dumfries) Va - Ordered out from Tony's Sept 2020 - Ordered fried calamari with extra dipping sauce and Cesar salad with chicken. The order took forever over an hour, the fried calamari tasted great - no dipping sauce at all, salad was large and tasted perfect, the bread that accompanied the meal was a hotdog bun toasted. After ordering from here many times we were, disappointed that some of the service and food has gone downhill. We have stopped ordering wings from them due to the quality and taste, I talked to management about it, they seemed unconcerned at the time. $8.95 for steak and cheese sub, pretty decent... I got mine to go and of course like many carry outs, the sub got soggy due to the box being closed on a hot steamy food. For the price they charged they should have thrown in a side of potato chips and a pickle :/ We also ordered a large pizza, a large here is 16 inches which is equivalent to an extra large at papa johns. $12.95 just for cheese, $3 per topping and $1.80 for extra sauce. Goodness for that price I could have ordered papa johns. Overall I thought it was OK, maybe we should have eaten it there while it was hot and droopy. By the time we got home the crust was semi hard and chewy and the rest of the pizza was dried. read more

Worst chicken parmigiana sub I ever had. I normally don't see how much I paid for food! But this time it seems very unfair to $15 for a small chicken parmigiana sub. But worst part is that the $15 I paid was only for bread there was not even small piece of real chicken meat. All it was bread tomato sauce with a breadcrumb cake that according to them is chicken. I'll definitely not recommend this place for a chicken parmigiana sub I can't say anything else for the rest of their food because I haven't try it. The outside isn't very inviting. The inside has been remodeled a bit and they changed the way things are done. When you walk in you approach the counter and stand there looking at a menu while a worker stares at you. You place your order at the counter then go find a seat if dining in. The young guy at the counter had no customer service skills. The waitress was slow and never checked on us after our food came out. We had to ask the guy at the counter for the check. The cheese pizza was the best. I love the thin crust pizza at Tony's as it's very similar to a naan. The tomato sauce is just right with a little sweetness and the cheese is pretty tasty. The Italian Sausage slice was kinda salty, should have stick with 2 slices of cheese instead. The chicken wings were very crunchy, which I like, but seasoning were very salty as well. This used to be our go-to spot for pizza but sadly, the quality has steadily gone down tremendously over the past 10 years. We will get Pizza Hut before coming here for a cheese pizza! However, I will say they have the BEST steak and cheeses in Northern Virginia. So go here for the sandwiches but totally pass on the pizza. I hope the beef prices level out so they take away their COVID fee. We visited Tony's around noon on a Sunday. It was pretty busy, but they seemed to be able to churn the orders out accurately and quickly. The pizza was excellent - definitely the best pizza in this area, outside of DC. We ordered the Tony's special (pepperoni, sausage, onions, green/red peppers) but there were TONS of by the slice options, too. Everything was priced very reasonably (by DC standards) -- our family of three ate for less than $30, with leftovers (and two bottles of beer). You order at the counter and seat yourself. I've lived by this place my whole life and will gladly drive the extra 25 mins into Manassas to go to what I call the "real Tony's" on Liberia Ave. The prices are outrageous for average food here. The pizza is not traditional NY pizza, it's just...average. The calazones are like 2lbs of cheese and tasteless. The subs are average. Ive been overcharged there twice, and had I not been paying attention, I would've overpaid each time by $5. A large pizza with a couple toppings will cost well over $20. This is a very good (sort of hidden) pizza restaurant. Very nice relaxed atmosphere. I ordered a philly cheese steak supreme and a chicken Parmesan subs with a side of fries. I have no complaints about this place, the steak sub was very good and great flavors. Plenty of meat, plenty of cheese and good amounts of pepper and onions.
