While all Tony's are terrific, this and the one off Centreville RD in Manassas are especially amazing, with friendly staff and giant slices, even if it is 4.95 for one Primavera slice. Yummy subs and pizza! I've started coming to this Tony's NY Pizza even though it is farther away from my home than the Tony's NY Pizza in Haymarket. The Tony's in Haymarket has a large customer base who can't read "No Parking" signs and insist on parking on the Yellow Curb (a yellow curb means no parking, no waiting, no loitering) with their blinkers on - so they can run their lazy asses inside - to pick up their order - instead of pulling into a parking space and walking inside. My usual order is their Italian Sub with all the fixings (lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo), plus oil and vinegar. Their Steak & Cheese sub is also awesome! Paid with Apple Pay, lots of seating here! Hadn't visited since just before the pandemic began because I worked in this shopping center until January 2020. Will not make that mistake again! Just as good as I remember! Visited mid afternoon, not too busy inside but doing a brisk take-out business. Ordered a 16" half bacon and jalapeno and half pepperoni. Got my number, paid and sat down. It was ready in about twenty minutes and wow was it super hot, super fresh and super good. I drove about ten minutes before stopping to eat and it was still molten lava, had to do the NY fold to stabilize it lol, but it was exactly what I remembered from previous visits. Took the family to dinner. Our kids are grown so we needed something that could feed a group but not break the bank. We had 2 pizzas which were delicious , a cheese calzone--very cheesy and big and a huge meatball sub with mushrooms. We loved it all and had plenty to take home. Service was fast for a Friday evening. The restaurant looks bigger with the mirrors. It's a little loud in there but not bad. It's a laid back family restaurant . Order a slice of pizza the place is clean the food is ok but the employees conversations were very inappropriate from the word verga to son of a b and other conversations that should not happen in a open floor and the manager in charge will not say anything to them. Haven't been to Tony's much since living in the area and being close by. I feel like that has been a huge mistake. This place has amazing service, with awesome staff. The atmosphere feels like the kind of pizza joint that people keep coming back for decades. The pizza itself is insane. It's delicious. We love the NY Style especially. However, this is the kind of place where seeing is believing; I recommend going in to see the pizza in action. I saw one of the Sicilian pizzas coming out of the oven and let out an audible "wow" and the guy making it smirked because I was ogling a giant Sicilian pizza like it was a Lamborghini. The subs are huge, the steak and cheese is pretty good. But I feel like the main attraction here is definitely the pizza. Really feels like New York pizza, and not just a branding/marketing scheme. I went to check out the local pizza place in Bristow. They do make a lot more than pizza (pastas, chicken, veal, seafood, and subs). The menu boards don't have any prices, which is always a bit concerning to me. I wanted to try the "Meat Pie", but the large (only comes in large) was $20+, which seemed a bit extreme to me. I chose instead to get a 14in (medium) Hawaiian, and that was still $17. This place definitely wasn't pricing its items on the lower end. There is ample seating inside if you did want a place to sit and eat. It takes about 20 minutes for an order, but they do have slices ready to go available. The pizza itself wasn't totally wowing. Toppings were badly distributed around the pizza, and it wasn't a good helping of them. A pizza slice wasn't structurally stable and broke 4/6 times when being picked up. The cheese and toppings would then fall off when the pizza snapped. At least the pizza wasn't super oily. I don't think I can recommend this place for either taste or value. It's alright for drunk food, but it's way too expensive to actually fall in that category. Next time I'd just go to a chain pizza place. read more

It was so good and fresh. The veggies were crunchy which is a plus! My husband got the meat lovers and he loved it. He agreed that the food was super fresh. They had a lot of options and plenty for people to choose from. They specialize in pizza so get the pizza. The menu is large but the pizza looks so good when you're inside. I wish this wasn't so far from my house because this would be one of my go to spots. It's also nice and clean and there's lot of sitting space. The bathroom was clean as well. read more

This Tony's location is definitely in past place as far as the others. When multiple people warn you that the Bristow location isn't as good as the rest it was a sign. I wanted to try it for myself. I ordered the most basic thing on menu during two different visits: a pepperoni slice and an order of focaccia bread. Neither were fully cooked. The dough on the focaccia was similar to plaster. Im guessing because of the cheese covering it. Speaking about the cheese, that didn't even cover the entire piece and looked like a slice of cheese place on it. As far as the slice of pizza, it was ok, but the crust was flimsy and did not have a feel of freshness. As far as the environment, it's nothing to brag about, it looks similar to the other locations but it's something about the Bristow location. It's the only one where I felt like I should have ordered my food to go, which seems like the theme for here. We have been customers for nearly 20 years. In the last year the quality of the food and service has been slowly but significantly changed. The persons answering the phone for call-in ordering are barely audible and practically not understandable. My recent order for a pizza, a Greek salad and artichoke salad was, being charitable, abysmal. The pizza wasn't fully cooked and had practically no tomato sauce. The salads were literally a "soup" of wilted lettuce, aged olives, untrimmed artichoke stems in a dressing that resembled a watery fowl balsamic vinaigrette. The mess they served was trash can worthy. Shame on them for ruining a one time wonderful restaurant. I will never go there again. read more

I've eaten at several "Tony's NY Pizza's" and they are all about the same. Unless you're buying a whole pie, most of them have pizza sitting in the window, then they heat it up for you and that's just horrible. I've never been a big fan, but they are one of few pizza shops in the region that sells pizza by the slice. This last visit, we ordered a full pizza as well as a salad. I have been going to A "Tony's" for over 25+ years for their steak and cheese and of course pizza. I love this place and ALL of the other locations that different family members have in the area. Unfortunately, this location just like the "newer" location/building off 28 in Manassas has changed their steak and cheese toppings. My go to pizza joint was not open so I went with this place and will never again! Ordered: 1 large eggplant Parmesan pizza, 1 large pineapple and bacon pizza, calamari and tiramisu. I got: 1 eggplant Parmesan sub(horrible, threw it away after a few bites, 1 large Pineapple and bacon pizza (it was blahhhhhhhh and not hot), The calamari is Ok. Came here for lunch on a sunday around 2ish and it was some what packed. We ordered a steak and cheese sub, spinach and broccoli calazone, a slice of broccoli and chicken pizza and a slice of cheese pizza on a thicker crust. Pizzas are already made and cooked, so all they are doing is just reheating it, which takes about 10-15 mins depending on how busy they are. My broccoli and chicken pizza was paper thin till you get one inch towards the crust. The topping and sauce was fantastic, so other than that paper thin part, it's not bad. Paper thin and soggy pizza could only mean they stretched out the dough too much. I took a bite of the steak and cheese sub and that was good too. The calazone however was different, the bottom of the cal was greasy and soggy. The dome of the calazone is only for presentation in my opinion. The dome is crunchy and Breadless, I litterly picked out the broccoli in the calazone and threw the rest away. I would stay away from their calazones, stick to their pizzas and subs. read more

The past few time I order from them the pizza is awful! They put so much red sauce its more like lasagna... it wasn't baked at all, they used canned mushroom, not thin crust like I requested. When I called to complain the manager was rude and he asked me to go back at the restaurant and show him the pizza I told him I'm not willing to drive back there, than he told me next time that I have to check what I get when I'm in the restaurant... I told him there won't be next time and that this is my second time the pizza from them is disgusting and he hung up on me... I'll never order from them again! read more
