Yummy subs and pizza! I've started coming to this Tony's NY Pizza even though it is farther away from my home than the Tony's NY Pizza in Haymarket. The Tony's in Haymarket has a large customer base who can't read "No Parking" signs and insist on parking on the Yellow Curb (a yellow curb means no parking, no waiting, no loitering) with their blinkers on - so they can run their lazy asses inside - to pick up their order - instead of pulling into a parking space and walking inside. My usual order is their Italian Sub with all the fixings (lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo), plus oil and vinegar. Their Steak & Cheese sub is also awesome! Paid with Apple Pay, lots of seating here! Service is good! #TonysNYPizza

    Calamari full size order

I've been here three times, and it feels like they're always shorting me on the full-size calamari orders... lol... come on guys, I'm paying for this!!!

16" NY-Style, half pepperoni, half bacon and jalapeno. The best!

Hadn't visited since just before the pandemic began because I worked in this shopping center until January 2020. Will not make that mistake again! Just as good as I remember! Visited mid afternoon, not too busy inside but doing a brisk take-out business. Ordered a 16" half bacon and jalapeno and half pepperoni. Got my number, paid and sat down. It was ready in about twenty minutes and wow was it super hot, super fresh and super good. I drove about ten minutes before stopping to eat and it was still molten lava, had to do the NY fold to stabilize it lol, but it was exactly what I remembered from previous visits. I would love to review something other than the pizza, but I'm so in love with it I'm not sure I'll try anything else here or at any other Tony's.

chicken alfredo and house salad (?)

literally ordered chicken alfredo with a side of garlic knots. They upcharged me for the garlic knots and gave me a side salad. the alfredo was good, chicken a bit dry, but whatever. I'm just in shock they charged for the garlic knots...and then didn't give me the garlic

    Umm what?

I ordered a white pizza with sausage, spinach, garlic. I received Alfredo sauce soup on dough. What a travesty.

I went to check out the local pizza place in Bristow. They do make a lot more than pizza (pastas, chicken, veal, seafood, and subs). The menu boards don't have any prices, which is always a bit concerning to me. I wanted to try the "Meat Pie", but the large (only comes in large) was $20+, which seemed a bit extreme to me. I chose instead to get a 14in (medium) Hawaiian, and that was still $17. This place definitely wasn't pricing its items on the lower end. There is ample seating inside if you did want a place to sit and eat. It takes about 20 minutes for an order, but they do have slices ready to go available. The pizza itself wasn't totally wowing. Toppings were badly distributed around the pizza, and it wasn't a good helping of them. A pizza slice wasn't structurally stable and broke 4/6 times when being picked up. The cheese and toppings would then fall off when the pizza snapped. At least the pizza wasn't super oily. I don't think I can recommend this place for either taste or value. It's alright for drunk food, but it's way too expensive to actually fall in that category. Next time I'd just go to a chain pizza place.

The cashier working today is so nice and patient!! Thank you for that. And I loved the pizza. I got the Tonys special which is a little bit of everything just like I like it. It was so good and fresh. The veggies were crunchy which is a plus! My husband got the meat lovers and he loved it. He agreed that the food was super fresh. They had a lot of options and plenty for people to choose from. They specialize in pizza so get the pizza. The menu is large but the pizza looks so good when you're inside. I wish this wasn't so far from my house because this would be one of my go to spots. It's also nice and clean and there's lot of sitting space. The bathroom was clean as well.

All the food is outstanding and the staff members, some of whom have worked at the restaurant for many years, are outstanding.

Pizza here is delicious!! Great, thin, crispy crust. The Margherita here is with a white sauce, not red, but still enjoyed it. My son LOVED the BBQ one. My favorite was the slice of grandma's pie. Slightly thicker crust & I loved the red sauce on it. On the tangy side, which I prefer. We recently moved to Haymarket from Fairfax area & was bummed we couldn't find a good pizza spot that could compare to our favorites (Andy's, Crust neapolitan). Lo & behold, this is it!! We'll be regulars here for sure. Great, quick service too. Already planning a big order for my son's upcoming birthday party :)

Just like back in New York where I grew up. Don't often get that here. Service was quick, prompt, and efficient. There is a cooler with drinks, one cooler for non-alcohol, one cooler with alcohol. There are some tables inside to eat at after you order at the counter, or you can get takeout or delivery. Parking is a bit confusing since there are a lot of other stores, but you will figure it out. You can park behind or to the side of Valentino's and walk a tad bit. No more than a minute. It's fine.

I also enjoyed the mushroom and pomegranate with asparagus and the clams. The seafood with pasta was only okay. Clams were a bit small and it was an amalgamation of seafood but for some reason it didn't have strong flavor at all. It also needed more sauce. Someone else in our party had the fish and that dish was good.

Carmello's and Monza in Manassas, VA, are sister restaurants and are owned by the same company. Both establishments are owned by Alice Pires. Carmello's opens at 5 PM. We were the first customers to arrive. A second and third group of customers arrived about 5-10 minutes after us. They offered us a table for four in the center. I requested a booth, which they obliged me. We were seated to the right side in a nice booth. We noticed the movable wall was closed between the two sections of the restaurant. I assume they had fewer customers than last time, when we were here on Mothers Day. The restaurant was packed on Mothers Day. I enjoyed my two Black Stags up with Makers Mark, bitters, lemon juice, blackberry syrup and soda for $13 each or $26 for both. I also enjoyed my seafood linguine pescatora for $46. I was charged a 3% credit card surcharge. My total bill was $297 excluding gratuity. Javier V. served us very well although a bit slow at times considering the fact the place was not packed with customers. I would rate this place slightly less than my last rating of 4 stars down to 3.5 stars. More to come regarding our flights tomorrow from IAD to ORD.
