AWESOME PLACE! Everything I have eaten has been delicious! My favorite is the Fish and Chips. I substitute the Tots for the chips as the Tots are always Awesome. I also ask for a bun so I can make a fish sandwich! (Thanks for accommodating my request) It makes for a truly delicious and memorable meal. The Service is Great! Everyone working there takes the time and effort to make it a very nice experience. The outdoor seating is definitely a plus, weather permitting. Their Root Beer is a must try. Tried the pub grub appetizer and we thought the chips were overcooked and a bit acrid. Beer cheese was fine, but not great. Stopped by here after a game of laser tag up the road, they were quick to accommodate a group of 12 hungry people. Beer menu was great and large - I went right for a pb&j sour from Knoxville, delicious. Tried a few apps - loaded chips and cheese curds. Both were tasty. Menu has plenty of things that look delicious. Went with the Kentucky bourbon burger and sweet potato fries for my main. Plenty of food & some to take home. Parking was easy on a Sunday evening. I'm surprised I haven't post a review yet. This has been our to-go place lately. Overall, they're just lacking consistency in service. Everything else they have it down. Parking, can be a nightmare depending the day and time of day you decide to visit. For the amount of businesses in this plaza they can use more parking spots. Food, it has always been great! I've tried all bowls and I can't pick my favorite. They're big, fresh and decently priced. Service has never been bad, but sometimes our server is amazing and others it's just feels like we were forgotten. I just wish all servers were prompt and attentive. The place is a good size and they always have sports playing on the TVs. It's a family friendly place too. read more

Second time here and definitely not disappointed! Both trips to Mr. Brews I've had one of their flatbreads and have been extremely happy both times. The BBQ and Chicken Bruschetta flatbreads are to die for. They're so flavorful, slightly crunchy on the outside, but soft on the inside. For my ranch lovers.... This place has the good stuff. We love their pretzels and beer cheese, so good! They have a great variety of options on tap, including local, gluten free, and varying abv's. Overall, the staff are what really make this place. My wife and I decided to try this place while in Murfreesboro doing a little shopping. We wanted a quick snack and a drink. Good decision! Great draft beer selection! I opted for Mayday Angry Redhead. We ordered a couple of appetizers - Tossed Chicken Tenders and Pub Grub. We had the tenders tossed in the Hot Bourbon BBQ sauce. It was very good! For the Pub Grub we chose fries. It's beer cheese, bacon and green onion served over fries (or chips or tots). Also, very good! Service was great! We were greeted by 2 different people as soon as we walked in. Our server, Hannah, was great. Very friendly and helpful. We tried Mr. Brews Taphouse on a Saturday around noon time! We were one of the first couple people in the restaurant but it was packed by the time we left! We ordered the pretzel and beer cheese dip to start. The pretzels were SO good. They were 100% fresh and right out of the fryer! The cheese dip was good too! My husband ordered a Commin John beer! It's always fun to see our friends brewery in a local restaurant! I ordered the chicken bruschetta flatbread, my husband had wings and the kids had chicken tenders. We also ordered a side of the house chips. The chicken tenders were cooked a tad too much, but they were still good! My flatbread was delish and my husband enjoyed his wings! I stopped in this weekend to meet up with a friend. They were quite busy. They have an awesome patio area out front. Tons of beer options including some milk stouts, which I love and are harder to find. The sweet potato fries were great too! Our server Taylor was great! She was very accommodating with us moving when it started getting chilly outside and she made the experience fun. I'm not in Murfreesboro often, but next time I am, I'll be stopping here. read more

My new ratings are based on a scale of 0-10. 0 being the worst and 10 being the best. Food: 2 I ordered the Chicken Bruschetta Flatbread and when it came out it looked absolutely disgusting!! It was drowned in tomato juice. Besides it being drowned in juices it had 6 pieces ( and yes I counted) 6 pieces of cubed chicken on it. After telling our server and showing her the disgusting dish she too agreed that it looked runny and had no chicken. After a long wait and when the rest of my family was done eating their meals mine finally came out... but this time looking absolutely delicious. It had the correct amount of chicken and visually was perfect and not drowned in any sauces. It was very good and I would recommend this dish. * please refer to photos of the 1st and 2nd dish Service: 10 Our young server was very kind to us and made sure to get my dish made properly as well as give us the proper portion of side items like fries. Aside from the few issues we had with our food our server had made up for it with her kindness. Ambiance: 5 Though I hadn't been inside and we sat out doors, I'd say that the atmosphere wasn't bad. Lots of people enjoying the fresh brews and having good conversations. Outdoors can be very nice but there were a lot of bug due to the tall trees next to us on the patio and the sounds loud traffic doesn't help with creating a nice and enjoyable dinner night out. Overall the visit wasn't terrible but I find that the kitchen cooks seem to not really care about making a good impression and whoever was in the expo window also must have not cared otherwise my first dish would have never been sent out... whoever manages this place or owns it needs to look at who is running the kitchen and expediting the food and retrain them. read more

We came here on a busy Friday night. The host was very kind and trying to get everyone seated as fast as possible. It definitely has a brewery feel to it. We sat at the bar since seating opened up quickly there. It did take a while for someone to come take our order, but that is expected with a new place. We are originally from Wisconsin so our cheese curd knowledge is vast. These were good, but nothing exceptional when talking about cheese curds. I enjoyed the burger bowl, but with chicken. This was a great size and extremely flavorful with the pesto and tomato. I like that they have options for people to make burgers into bowls. They had many beer options which are typical for a brewery. Overall, we will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu. It's a great location since there are not many similar options over that way. Can't wait to see how things improve as they are open longer. read more

Just learned we have a new brew joint in Murfreesboro called Mr. Brews Taphouse, look like a franchise of about 15 locations. I sat at one of the high-top tables and Andrea welcomed me and told me about the taps and the beer flights available. Looks like (+/-) they have about 50 beers on tap plus bottles. I decided on a Franziskaner Hefe and while Andrea went to get my beer I perused the menu. They have a pretty standard bar menu and I decided on some wings tossed in Honey BBQ. I was a bit disappointed when the wings arrived, they were puny and based on what I saw at other tables this is the size they serve. While the sauce was good there just wasn't enough meat on the bones to really enjoy the basket. Doesn't mean I won't go back...the service was excellent and Andrea took wonderful care of me, the atmosphere is bright and open, you have a patio for relaxing and dining, PLUS and a wide assortment of cold draft beer. So the next time I'll just try something else for food and enjoy a different beer or maybe one of their flights. read more

I was really excited when I heard about this place opening up. This side of Murfreesboro desperately needs some new and fresh dining and bar options and I was hopeful that Mr Brews was going to help fill that void. Unfortunately after a very lackluster first visit I'd be hard pressed to return. While the location is nice and clean, it's got more of a family restaurant vibe than a burger and beer bar. The service was good and the waitresses were super friendly but the food was just not good. I got the crispy chicken sandwich and it was hands down one of the worst chicken sandwiches that I've ever been served. It was very obviously a cheap frozen chicken patty that sat in the fryer too long and got overcooked. There was absolutely no flavor and the bun was way too thick and dense. Also ordered a side of sweet potato fries and was so shocked by how small the portion size was for the price. The beer selection was decent but they could use a wider variety of craft beers and fewer grocery store beers. read more

And glad it looked to specialize in beers. This is a well stacked market in Murfreesboro's though. If you're going to open a burger spot in town, it needs to be able to compete. Not that we have the most amazing options, but we have a lot of options. The good: the atmosphere and location are great. Ample parking, the inside is spacious and clean with plenty of places to sit inside or out. The service was quick, and even though you could tell our waitress was very new, she was very sweet and attentive. She also didn't throw up stop signs to special requests, she would find answers or do what she could to accommodate. I enjoyed the beer selection, and if there's anything to bring me back, it's a solid lineup of beers. Wouldn't mind to see some more out of state offerings, but that's me being picky. The bad wasn't really bad. There were just things that weren't good and didn't seem to meet the bar necessary to bring me back. (Though I will go back and try it again) the burger wasn't good. Smashburgers are where it's at these days, and if you aren't going to do a smashburger, you better have a very good quality meat cooked very well. And it was just ok. I got the peanut butter burger and it just didn't work. The peanut butter paste was not good. The fries were just ok. My wife got the chicken fingers and she liked them, but said they weren't anything to bring her back. It seems like this place will do well in Murfreesboro, because this is what Murfreesboro likes. Just not my cup o tea. In my humble yet rarely correct opinion, this location is an average at best burger bar with an above average beer selection. With that said, it's daddy/daughter date night tonight, and we'll probably be hitting up Jack Browns Burger over this location. I'm going to revisit here. My husband and I stopped by shortly after opening last Wednesday. We were offered open seating and were greeted promptly at our table by our server with menus. We each ordered a draft beer and started surveying the menu. We ordered the Jalapeno popper flatbread and our server came back minutes later to let us know that they were warming the ovens and our flatbread would take longer than usual. We were ok with that as we weren't in a hurry but appreciated he letting us know up front. We decided to order a side salad while we waited for our flatbread. First, the jalapeño popper burger was good, messy but good flavors. The house made potato chips were inconsistent, some nice and crisp, some limp and soft. They did not have any iced tea, so had to stick to water. Server was attentive, although rushed. Facility is utilitarian, but a huge tv at one end lights the place up. Lastly, the non-cas fee automatically added to the check is offensive and draws a line in the sand. Post that charge, then add on checkout. The way it is done leaves a bad taste and ruined an otherwise acceptable experience. read more
