Came in on recommendations from my daughter that the chicken sandwich was much better than the standard burger. Showed up at lunchtime and the place was nearly empty. Walked up to the counter and immediately was met by a friendly employee. When the sandwich came out it was over-sauced. The flavor of the chicken was good, but the excessive amount of sauce took away from the sandwich. Fries were also good. The restaurant was very clean inside and out. I saw two employees constantly looking for trash. The sandwich is good, and is a good value, but I prefer some of the competitors chicken sandwich better. Still worth a try read more

Today, we visited our first Whataburger. I had heard nothing but praise ever since Murfreesboro opened its first of this fast food staple. Upon walking in, there was nobody at the front counter. We stood and waited as workers took orders at the windows, brought out food to tables, made shakes, and cooked in the back. Nobody stopped to say "Someone will be with you in a second" or acknowledge us. It wasn't a super welcoming start. Once the cashier came to the front, she took our order and was very friendly. I got a chicken sandwich, fries, and a chocolate shake. We were given a table marker and went to choose our seats. The inside looked like your standard fast food restaurant. We chose a booth, which was a little sticky. There was also food and smudges across the booth dividers-- and what looked to be children's hand prints. The food arrived promptly! The milk shakes were so thick. They had a rich chocolate taste and were actually similar to shake shack! The food, however, was pretty mediocre. The fries were skinny fries similar to steak and shake. The quality of meat/chicken sandwich tasted very similar to sonic. The food tasted like very mid fast food to me. I feel like Chick-fil-a and Shake Shack are on another level; however, Whataburger falls into the same category as Sonic, Dairy Queen, and Steak and Shake. It does look like Whataburger is open 24/7. That might be nice if out for a concert, road trip, or late night! There are not a ton of restaurants opened past 10 or 11. Overall, I wasn't overly impressed and the inside was pretty grungy for just opening a few months ago. The entire experience reminded me of eating at an orange Dairy Queen. I should have listened to the Yelp reviews on this one. Shit experience from the start. There was probably only one or two locations I ever visited that were on point so I should expect it to be bad. The nearest location to us is over an hour away so we usually stop on road trips. It was a Friday night and there must have been 30 people inside with 1 person barely behind the counter. I placed my order via mobile app like 30 minutes prior. Most of the time the estimated ready time is 6-11 minutes but it is NEVER ready at ANY location I have been to. I entered and stood at the mobile pick up section, where 2 other people were waiting. After I saw none of us were being addressed or given food, I interrupted the counter person after standing for 25 minutes. She came over and I informed her the others were here first, which she retrieved their names. It took like about 10 minutes but the first person received his food. Then another 5 minutes and the girl before me received hers. I finally received mine 10 minutes after her. Neither of them said thank you but whatever. We were checking into a hotel so we waited until we were in the room to eat. I should have double checked everything before I left the store. There was no ketchup. There was no honey mustard for the chicken fingers. I also provided feedback and no response from management. The absolute worst Whataburger experience ever. Have to say I had high hopes, but this is probably the worst place and worst experience I have experienced in a long time. First I ordered and the woman had my order wrong after I paid. No big deal I just tell her she misses my last combo I offered so we reorder the missing combo. She keys in a shake and med. fries.. WTH... she never added the burger. So now I have to order a burger. Cost me $16.00 for one combo because it took three different transactions to get a damn meal. Fries and burgers came out cold and put together sloppy. This is by for a horrible place! I would not recommend this place. This may be harsh but it's the truth! We drove up to one speaker and waited 5 minutes. After saying hello we were told "just one moment" well after just one moment we saw multiple cars finish their order in the drive thru lane number one. It got so bad we had to leave drive thru lane number two and move in number one. They absolutely shouldn't have opened this up here. Service is terribly slow. Waited in drive thru for over half an hour in the middle of a Saturday. Got my food and just parked to eat. #1 with extra onions, fries and a drink with spicy ketchup. Nothing was very hot like you would expect with a wait, so not sure why it took forever to serve 8 - 10 cars. Fries were seasoned well but not very fresh. Visited Whataburger a few times now since it first opened. The first visit was great, the staff was helpful and the food was great. Upon recent visits I have experienced some unpleasant experiences. Most recent, I parked my car and got out only to find a burger in the parking lot! I literally almost stepped on it! The parking lot was pretty trashed. No one was bothering cleaning it up. An employee walked right by the mess and never went back with a broom! Once we went into the restaurant, we were trying to find a clean table to eat at. None were available. We seen French fries on the floor, trash and dirty tables! We got our food with a delay and ate it and left. We will not be going back. If the restaurant doesn't care about their guest experience by keeping the restaurant clean so you can enjoy your meal and surroundings we will go elsewhere. Whataburger is whatamess! read more

Where do I even begin? We've been here 3 times so far and they haven't gotten a single order right and when I say not right I mean way wrong. The last two visits whole items were missing and the burgers were completely wrong. I wish that was the only issue, buuuuttt it's not. Customer service? Nope! Not only will you wait half hour in the drive through but you'll wait nearly that long even if you order on the app/website. I ordered the cheeseburger(lettuce , tomato, grilled onions, ketchup) with fries and a drink. Ordered a kids grilled cheese sandwich and fries. The burger was very basic. No flavor no special sauce just meh. The fries were very basic as well, similar to McDonald's but not as good. Have come here a few times since they have opened and its a hit or miss but then again we usually come after work and around 11 pm. I get the jalapeño and cheeseburger and my husband gets the double whataburger meals. The best thing from here is the Dr. Pepper shake and the chocolate malt. It is with regret that I rate this store as I have. In my first review, I rated them 3* and have degraded them to 2*. Initially, I was so impressed by the quality of the food that I signed up for their app and started earning free food. I doubt that choice now. The food is still great. The rest of the experience is not. Frequently at breakfast the coffee is cold. More often than not, they are short handed and have no one at the order counter and I have to call into the kitchen to find someone. Wait times for my food have gotten longer and longer. Where do I begin with this review? First off the food is good and the people working are friendly. I have been going there 2-3 times a week, but I'm tired. I'm tired of it taking forever to get an order. Mind you, it's not all the time. It's still about 50% of the time you're waiting 25-35 minutes for your order. You can literally go to Outback and order a steak dinner and get it before you get your order at Whataburger. The employees are always working hard when I go there, so it's either one of two things. Corporate and people above the store level don't give a crap about customer satisfaction, or there's not enough employees to get food out in a timely fashion. I'm thinking it's corporate though, because I had an issue awhile back. I called the support line and emailed them. I never heard back from management. There's an area supervisor there who I think blocked it because I had an issue with him. Either way, it's absolutely ridiculous how long it takes to get your order here. At this point, I just want an answer, any answer as the what the problem is at this store. It had been over a year since I was last at whataburger. Nothing happened, I just don't go there that often. Today my daughter wanted to go in and eat. The line to order was fairly short but with 1 person in front of us, it still took almost 15 minutes of waiting to place the order. We got our drinks and found a spot to sit down. After waiting about 20 minutes and my daughter already asking when the food was coming, I started checking my watch more often. Exactly 30 minutes after we ordered, the food showed up minus the fries (which is probably the saving grace). My kid's fries were stone cold. Her burger was Luke warm and my burger was cold. The onion rings I had ordered were perfect though. After another 5 minutes, the missing fries came out and were hot. I had noticed when the lady delivered other people's food, she would also have a tray of condiments, no such luck with us UNTIL we were half way done our meals. She stopped by and asked oof we wanted any ketchup. Overall, the store felt disorganized and the food was mostly cold. Most reviews say the drive through you get fresher food so I'll have to try that next time but for now, I think I'll avoid going into eat. read more

I have loved Whataburger since I was a kid. It's so wonderful to have them so close now. Enjoy the burgers and their fries immensely! Went in the other day and restaurant was slammed busy but why wouldn't they be. It's a great place. Waited about 20 mins total for food and get it to go. There were no tables available when we ordered, very busy. Staff were great and everyone was wearing a smile. Clean as could be expected for being slammed the way they were. They still had people stocking lids, napkins etc. Very pleased. Will definitely be back again and again and again!!! Keep up the great work!!! read more
