While visiting Panther Creek Brews there was a non-descript food truck there with a hand-written menu. I took a look at the menu and it didn't really resemble what most food trucks offer. The offerings indicated someone who cooked using a bit of flair and looked like they knew how to enhance a dish with sauces. I selected the Rosemary Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas. Now these are not like any quesadilla I've had as a "appetizer" at many restaurants, this was a creative melding of intricate flavors into a quasi-soft shell taco/quesadilla. The grilled chicken had great flavor and the bacon and ranch really complemented the quesadilla. The tortilla was perfect, slightly crisp, and held the entire quesadilla together and didn't fall apart after the first bite. To top it all off...I got to meet the owners/operators Frankie and Tony Wong. This couple works hard, serve up great food, and are really fun to talk to. This food truck stopped by today for lunch so I went out and grabbed a bite. It was pretty good and definitely large portions! The TRIPLE LAYER TOMATO AND BASIL GRILLED CHEESE ON SOURDOUGH was delish! Soft, with a crunchy outside and surprisingly not too much bread. A good amount of cheese and flavor. I'd definitely recommend. CRINKLE CUT FRIES were over cooked. I'm sad to say I didn't even finish them, which is rare for me since this cut of fries is my absolute favorite! Just too crunch and the flavor was heavy on the oil, rather than potato. Total cost was $9 before tip, which made it one of the least expensive items on the truck. Customer service was professional. Food was made quickly and from order. Pretty good, IMO. read more

This has to be one of the best food trucks. We've been here multiple times and have always enjoyed our food. As for the gimme gimme cheeseburger, my husband said it look like a man versus food sandwich! So you need to come hungry if you're going to eat that. I ordered the cheese curds and tomato basil dip and everybody enjoyed sharing them, I was hoping they were a little lighter fried but they were still delicious. My daughter had the Monterey chicken quesadilla they look delicious, and my husband ordered the Infamous 3 tier tomato and fresh basil mozzarella grilled cheese on New York sourdough. I'm a vegetarian so I usually eat that but I'm not eating a lot of bread right now so I passed but I know it's delicious. Lastly the review on the cheese cheeseburger was two thumbs up! read more

Omg !!! So I was at the Free Beer and Hot Wings meet and greet at Mayday Brewery and thought there would be two food trucks, one being a taco truck. Well I wanted tacos but never saw that truck so I decided to settle for My Roots! #BlowAway!!! It's a good truck but the food, FOOD! It's delicious. You would think it came right out of a kitchen :) everything was hot and fresh. The prices on the menu seem iffy before you order, but that crew does NOT cheat you! Plenty of food. I was in town for an event on St. Patrick's Day and my friend and I saw (or rather, smelled) the My Roots food truck. We had the Bangers & Mash and the Irish Egg Rolls. They were out of this world delicious, and that gravy - yum!!! Super nice people working it, too. We absolutely reccomend this food truck. I am big fan of food trucks and love going to food truck festivals such as the "Eat the Street" festival in Franklin. I like try as many food trucks as I can. Well "My Roots" has definitely moved up my list and has established itself as one of my favorite food trucks. The people that run the truck a good people and the food is awesome. Everything I have had so far from there grill cheese, chili, quesadilla, and sliders has been great. Everytime I see them, they always have something different on the menu.
