Oversalted food! The burger patty was overcooked, salty, and crumbly instead of served as a medium well. I got the buttermilk bacon for my burger and it should only be served as a side or appetizer. The half slice of bacon is breaded so it is over an inch thick and there were 4 pieces on the patty. There is no way this could fit in a normal sized mouth if you add any lettuce or other condiments. I asked for Brie and got one 1" slice. Definitely not what I expected for a $3 up charge. The sweet potato fries were inedible due to the salt they were doused with. I will, however, recommend the house fried chips with onion dip and it was a shame to have to leave it since there was so much of it. It probably would be great in place of mayo on a burger. I also observed 5-6 people wandering in and out of the back that weren't wearing uniforms but seemed to know everyone as they stood around chatting. Why??? Not very professional for food service. One young man in particular kept running his hand thru his long hair as he stood near the staff area for drinks and the pass. Ugh! There was also another guy with hair down to his waist that was pulled back but man!, that ponytail was swinging loose everywhere from the kitchen to the bar. Again, ugh! Neither of those would I want near where my food was being prepared. The menu is a fun looking and eclectic mess but we won't be back. Bad Daddy's is hands down my favorite restaurant in Murfreesboro. Even though it's known for burgers, I almost always order Emilio's Chicken, and it's honestly my favorite item on the menu. If you're someone who doesn't always want a burger at a burger restaurant, it's definitely worth trying. Another menu item that surprised me was the deviled eggs. They're a unique twist on a classic appetizer and not something you see at most restaurants. Food was good. Service was good. Beer was cold! It was a little odd that at 7:15 there was a cleaning lady with a vacuum in the middle of the restaurant who apparently works there as a server. Not ideal to listen the a nasty vacuum while trying to eat a couple tables away. I also don't understand the dress code. Our server looked like a server but the lady seating people looked like she had just rolled out of bed in dingy pink hoodie that hung down to her knees. When the staff doesn't care about their appearance it makes me question whether or not they care about the food safety. I was only moderately interested in a burger place for a family gathering it boy was I surprised. This place definitely elevates the hamburger experience. Ordered a medium rare Bistro Burger and a medium (which the server assured me would still be pink inside) Mushroom Burger.
