I went for the first time today! I saw an advertisement for their queso cheeseburger thing, and it was so amazing! My wife ordered the fish and chips and she did not like the batter so we asked our waitress to replace it with something else! Britney (waitress) went ahead and got her new ordered put in, the manager walked out and apologized and gave us an ordered of donuts! It was nothing against the food, just wasn't up to my pregnant wife taste buds but they made us feel special when they did not have to be! For that, I am forever grateful and a new fan! This place is in the parking lot of a mall in Murfreesboro. They have a lot of specials but I don't know how good they are. I personally had the $3 margarita and Brunch Burger. The $3 margarita is not worth it. I should have ordered a real drink. The Brunch Burger had burnt bacon and not enough sauce. The fries were good. My friend says the Meatloaf special was good. It's worth telling friends about the place! No, it received the "it's good" meaning 1-5 it was a 3. Now the star of the lunch date was the appetizer! Fried calamari with Thai sweet chili sauce. It was breaded ever so lightly and cooked perfectly! You know a good calamari is when it melts in your mouth when you eat it. Not chewy, not stringy, it melts! This is what gave the review rating of a 3! Reason is this restaurant is pretty much a bar and burger place the fries should be fresh at all times and seasoned well. It's the most uncomplicated food on the menu and it's the most ignored in terms of its quality and flavor. The overall restaurant was clean. I love it when your shoe doesn't make the squeezing sound because the floors are dirty. The music was at the right level. Our server was attentive and very polite! Would we go again? Of course. We were sat in the bar around which was not air conditioned & there was a light beaming down on us to the point where we were sweating. It was 80 degrees outside by the way. This is the second time it's happened to me. I just cannot comprehend how you're so damn slow there at night. I actually think it may be intentional to be that slow. I literally just dined inside The restaurant on Tuesday night. I got the ribs, I really wasn't impressed with them. I didn't say anything about it, though, the Service was good. After tonight though, I'm done with this restaurant. People that like to wait around for a half an hour to get an order when it's not busy. My sons girlfriend ordered a salad and it was a mound of lettuce and toppings served on a small salad plate she couldn't even mix the dressing or take a bite that it wasn't spilling onto the table. The portions are small for the price and very bland food. McDonald's has more flavor than the food we got today. I order the chicken fajitas and my husband got the cheeseburger. My first impression was that it had a similar vibe to Carolina Ale House, nice large, open bar area with lots of seating and about 40-45 taps, around 10-12 of which were dedicated to local TN or regional southeast breweries. A solid place to go if you want some good brew style American food! Their signature prime burger was a really good burger and cooked to perfection on my medium-rare request. The gravy on it was tasty and didn't need any outside sauce. Sweet potato fries were also really good although I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce they brought out with it. It was a fluffy butter cream esk sauce, which did taste good but not to go with sweet potato fries and not with a savory dish. No real complaints here! read more
