This is AMAZING food! I came here with my dad for dinner one night and I got a pizza with ham, extra cheese, pepperoni, and pineapple. It was amazing. If you get a pizza they bring you pepper flakes, parmesan cheese, and Mike's hot honey to put on your pizza. I put all of those except the pepper flakes (images shown). Sam's Place never disappoints. They always have fast friendly service, and cool decor. Today, my wife and I decided to try their jumbo wings, and finished things off with a Cookie Monster. We got the wings and the sweet and spicy sauce with ranch dressing, accompanied by celery sticks. The wings were huge and very tasty. They paired well with the ranch dressing. The Cookie Monster was so nice and gooey. It might need to cook just a teeny bit longer The vanilla bean ice cream gave it a perfect balance. FYI, careful with the pan because it is hot. The food looked and tasted amazing. The ribs fell off the bone and smelled great. The chicken tenders lived up to their name "tender". The fish tacos were good but needed more fish. The brunch offering was good but pricey for what they had on the bar. The server we had did a great job and visited our table several times. Sams is awesome. Tucked nicely into the exterior of the old stones river mall complex, Sams is a gem. Amazing food, plenty of seating, very very good portion sizes, excellent pricing, good happy hour specials, and a comfortable, family friendly atmosphere. I've been here a few times before, but I'm not sure why I am just now writing a review. Every time that I've come here, it has ALWAYS been packed, no matter what time it is. No matter how packed, or busy they are, they are still NOT slow. I give it to them for their tech time. They definitely have a good amount of screens up so definitely a good spot to watch a game if you'd like. Today was actually the first day I noticed you can kinda see them working in the kitchen. I really liked that a lot. Our server did a great job. So I really give it to them for customer service. Food wise: I really liked it for bar food. I started off with the traditional Buffalo wings. I don't have any complaints about it at all. I also tried their spinach and artichoke dip. No complaints, either. I got their angus burger and I liked it a lot. It really tasted off the grill. First, I miss the Sam's in Hillsboro village from my younger days. So much fun. This is a nice family friendly alternative. I've always been a fan of their chicken tenders and their pub style pizza is good too. Lots of TV's, so this is a better place to watch sports in the area. read more

Very cool spot I stumbled upon while I was visiting Murfreesboro. Good fried pickles with spicy ranch, tasty pizza, and a good beer selection. Very welcoming group of employees. Needed a place to hang out for a little while and found this place. I did that super cool thing where you try to get up from your table and then you knock over the fresh beer you were just served. Everyone was super nice and it felt like the whole place showed up to help me clean up my table. My server was Lilly and she was awesome. Very attentive and answered some questions I had when trying to pick out a beer. Would highly recommend visiting this spot. read more

We went to Sams on Saturday and it was a peak time. It was also a game day. They were on almost an hour wait, but fortunately there were two seats at the bar so we sat there instead. They were slammed with customers. We visit Sams for their awesome spinach dip and pizza. As the bartender came over to greet us with menus I looked at her (while smiling) and told her "we do not need menus, we already know what we want". She smiled back while seeming relieved at the same time, and she took our order. Our spinach dip was out 5-7 minutes later and the two pizzas weren't far behind. Outside the service and a few food items, I can't say much was great about this place. The beer I ordered came in a dirty cup (evident by the lack of lacing and residue bubbles) and was very flat. The tenders we ordered were somehow heavily fried on the outside, cooked inside and still soft. It made no sense when they were chicken tenders and would bend. The ribs however were flavorful and fell off the bone. The sweet potato fries were also very well done. Service was spot on for the most part even though it was busy. Any given Sunday there are 9 or 10 noon NFL games. Sam's has a couple of dozen TVs. Finding TVs for all of them shouldn't be a problem, right? Sunday, I get to the bar a half hour before kickoff and ask to be seated where I can watch the Saints game. "Sit anywhere," I'm told. "If a TV doesn't have a sign, we can change any of them to your game." I asked, "Ark you sure?" Yes, yes! So we sit, order our drinks and ask that a TV that I'm pretty sure is only in my line of sight to be turned to the Saints game. A few minutes later the server came back with my drinks and told me, no, that can only be on the Titans. The server, Kelsey (sp?) was nice. This same issue happened to me repeatedly there last season. We left. The Sam's motto on the web site is "if we are going to do it, let's do it right." OK, do it right. read more

Sam's is my favorite place to go to after work with my coworkers! It is the best place to grab a drink and watch sports! Also, reasonable happy hour deals. I ordered the Scorpion wings (10) and a side of fries to go. I was concerned why my bill was $17 but the amount of fries they give out is ginormous! The wings were seasoned perfectly but I wasn't a fan of their sauce. Given the name, it was not as spicy as I thought it would be. The ranch was excellent. I come here seldomly although I live very close. This place is never consistent. Not the best service, the draft beers are annoyingly and CONSTANTLY ALWAYS changing. Great beers come and go way too frequently and that's what's frustrating. Don't waste your time, go to Jonathan's Grill down the street instead. Every time I come here I'm reminded why I don't want to come back. Food is very pricey compared to other places. Plus Jonathan's has Happy hour 7 days a week. read more

Stopped in today for lunch. Asked for my wings to be extra crispy and of course they came out chewy. Asked for blue cheese and got some creamy dressing that tasted more like ranch than blue cheese. Blue cheese is not supposed to have ranch seasoning in it. Not sure of your blue cheese is homemade or what but its not good. While sitting at the bar I literally saw the bartender use a rag to wipe up crumbs off the bar top and he proceeded to pull the crumbs over where the ice is stored. Sam's is a great place to visit to watch a sports game. TVs everywhere, lots of beer specials, and their late night menu is amazing. The food is okay and I've tried several things on the menu. The service is normally decent. It gets reallllly busy during baskeball, football, and hockey games so just be prepared to wait either on a table or try to elbow your way in at the bar. Awesome is the first words as we walked into the door. It is so roomy and large in here. I just loved it from the moment the door. The bar is in the middle of the bar, dark wood and gorgeous..There are TVs all over the place..big flat screens EVERYWHERE..the tables are High Tops some with great high booths..perfect for my leg issues.. and then there are some booths and smaller tables..GREAT use of space in this restaurant..There are large model airplanes and helicopters on the ceiling hanging down...great design...I loved every single thing in this restaurant. Our waitress came immediately to get our drink order. I ordered unsweetened tea with lemon and lime ( as usual) and Tony ordered his bottle Budweiser. He chose a 9 inch pepperoni pizza and I opted for the Fish tacos with side of black beans and rice...VERY GOOD CHOICE..I would definitely order this again and again. Our waitress was very helpful and happy to find out it was our first trip here. She even told the manager and he visited our table twice to make sure everything was to our liking..and IT was.. I would definitely go here again and I definitely recommend it to any and all..I DEFINITELY would eat the healthy Fish Tacos again...I took my leftovers home and had them for dinner...so I actually ate there twice in one day!!!!
