Probably the best meal I've had in Murfreesboro the 3 months being here. The flavors, the local produce and seasonal selections. Everything was executed perfectly. The service was great, the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. I look forward to going back and trying more things.

When I saw Five Senses had the Crab Stack on the menu, I was there. This is fresh crab meat and heirloom tomatoes in a light vinaigrette and basil aioli...perfectly combined and delicious. I added a Romaine Wedge to complete the meal and while this is not a "traditional" wedge, it is very good. The lightly grilled onions are an unusual but excellent match in the salad. I decided to give the Plum Torte a try for desert...it was good but very tart. While this was a "light" meal it was filling and very satisfying. The service provided by the staff here is great and my server Lauren was awesome!

Single-handedly one of the best, most fresh, well-prepared, perfectly seasoned, and excellently portioned meals we've had anywhere in the Boro - ever. We've been several times now and have thoroughly enjoyed our meals, appetizers, drinks, ambiance, atmosphere, and overall experience to the point that we actively begin looking forward to when we will be able to come again the next time while we're still there! You can't help but love their Monday date night deal, but it shouldn't prevent you from going any night of the week. Their chefs are killing it in the kitchen and the food is such quality it is worth the price every night. Simply the best of the Boro!

This place is a level up. And the best part is Monday night date night! Always fast friendly service. It is also best to grab a reservation. I love the bar seating here as you get a front row seat to the open kitchen. I love going here with one of my food besties for date night. My best friend and I went here to celebrate my birthday. Everything here has always been top tier and uniquely put together.

We went here for our first time last night. I was concerned our reservation would be too late, but it was still very much busy. We sat at the kitchen station where we got to watch them make stuff. Very fun. Everyone who helped us was very nice and service was quick. Our drinks were very generous with the pours, and the food was delicious. I loved how dark it was inside. And the noise level was not too loud that we couldn't speak easily. We will definitely come again for a nice night out.

This Restaurant/Bar has a lot to offer. It will excite all your senses and pave a path of gastronomic pleasures beyound your expectations. We arrived on a Wednesday night which was wine night for $5 a glass. My wife enjoyed the filet migon & I devoured the roast duck. With these meals we were also served sides & a salad that were scrumptious. This is a high end restaurant, so be prepared for a costly but well worth it meal. The service was impeccable .

The food was perfect and really not even that expensive compared to my home town. I started with a nice Cabernet. I had two in fact. I did not know that Tennessee has an extra tax (LBD - 15%) on alcohol sold by the glass! I thought Republicans were all about low taxes. I also enjoyed an absolutely delicious shrimp bisque. It was really good (and only $6 for a bowl). It was smooth and flavorful. In my neighborhood that would cost $15. My entree was a daily special, yellowfin tuna. It was nicely seared on the outside and sushi grade on the inside. I could really taste the healthy Omega 3's. The fish was served on a nicely flavored bed of long grain rice. A wonderful mango salsa topped the fish. The accompanying broccoli was perfectly steamed. This was only $26. I shall return again to this great place.

It felt very comfortable and almost elevated. My husband ordered a NY strip steak with mashed potatoes and macaroni & cheese. He ordered his steak blue rare, as that was not an option on the ordering machine. Our waitress kindly said she could make a note for blue rare if possible. We later learned that the kitchen staff had no idea what blue rare was or how to cook it, which is a red flag for a restaurant that is supposed to be a "steakhouse". As you could guess, it didn't come out blue rare or even rare; to be honest, it came out medium rare and with no seasoning. He decided it was fine and he would manage, so he did not mention it, although we definitely did not ask for a box. He added his sides were okay, but overall, the food experience was 3/10. I had a mocktail called "spa day." It was a pineapple mojito without the alcohol, and I love a good pineapple mojito, so I enjoyed it. I also ordered a steak. Filet 6 oz medium and it was cooked fine, but the only seasoning was pepper, and thank goodness I have grown accustomed to pepper; otherwise, I would have had to send it back because it was the only thing on it. I ordered a loaded potato and the apples as my sides, and they were perfect. The apples honestly were probably the best part of the meal, although they did taste like they were from a box. Overall, in my opinion, it is definitely not worth $130, but the waitress was very nice and attentive

They did NOT disappoint!! I am officially hooked! From the moment we walked in, I could see and feel the sheer energy coming from the crowd and the ambiance: it already felt like great food and great people. It was packed to the brim for Wine Wednesday! They had one table available for two! Our server, Sarah, was outstanding!! She was sweeter than pie and extremely attentive! She always made sure we had exactly what we wanted when we wanted it. She advised sharing a bottle of wine since we wanted the same one, and since it was half price most wines. The young manager on duty delivered and uncorked the bottle, and she was just as sweet as Sarah! Her name escapes me, but I will find out the next time I go. The Spanish Tempranillo we tried was divine! It was perfectly balanced without being too dry or too tannic or too sweet. It was so smooth and thoroughly enjoyable to drink! For food, we started with the goat cheese bruschetta. It was perfection - rich in flavor and well balanced in the distribution of each component! From there, we tried the special of Steak Tips Au Pauvre - with a peppercorn wine sauce. We chose brussels sprouts as our side, and it also came with a side salad. We weren't too hungry, so we split it. Sarah even had the kitchen split both the salad and the main dish in half for us! The salad was so fresh (with ripe grape tomatoes!!) and the ranch dressing was classic and delightful. The wine sauce was everything I wanted it to be: rich, complex, thick, and buttery. It reminded me of the beautiful sauces you find on a steak or chicken dish at a sidewalk cafe in Paris. The dessert menu looked amazing, but we didn't have any room left. All I can say is you MUST try this place!!! If you can find Sarah, even better!

Everyone was extremely warm & welcoming including the host seating patrons. I must admit we had an exceptional night all due our delightful server, Eniya. Our son is on the spectrum, which she had no way of knowi.ng because he is high functioning, as I encouraged him to speak directly to her, she waited patiently never making things awkward. He has just gotten to where he orders himself but eye contact can be hit or miss but she did make it comfortable enough he had no problem ordering. Her appearance was very polished and looked more like the beginning of a shift than the end of one. She made sure our glasses where always full eve with the crowd size. She checked our table numerous times. She spaced our meal out perfectly, as we did have 3 separate appetizers, meals & 2 different desserts. I was a GM for over 20 yrs & this is definitely someone I would have snatched up! She was a natural! She kept a smile on her face as though everything was effortlessly, which I knew it was not. We had been seated next to one of the high top tables which she was also taking care of that night. She provided the same serves to that family of 3 but who ordered less yet complained & had items removed from their bill. That didn't stop them from wanting to go containers for the very food they complained about which she did peovide. She never broke character with her personable approach or her warm genuine smile. I truly felt the table just wanted a freebie. Eniya is truly a top notch server & we will be asking for her in the future!

The restaurant itself was not too busy at the time, the restroom smelled gross, like mildew and parts of the floor was slippery - a young girl slipped and fell walking out of a stall to the sink. The staff here aren't that friendly either, a staff member was cleaning a table and bumped into me as I was walking by and didn't say anything to me at all. Needless to say, I was disappointed with the overall experience. Should've gone somewhere else, definitely not worth the $$. The sweet potato fries were inedible due to the salt they were doused with. I will, however, recommend the house fried chips with onion dip and it was a shame to have to leave it since there was so much of it. It probably would be great in place of mayo on a burger. I also observed 5-6 people wandering in and out of the back that weren't wearing uniforms but seemed to know everyone as they stood around chatting. Why??? Not very professional for food service. One young man in particular kept running his hand thru his long hair as he stood near the staff area for drinks and the pass. Ugh! There was also another guy with hair down to his waist that was pulled back but man!, that ponytail was swinging loose everywhere from the kitchen to the bar. Again, ugh! I visited with my parents during their last trip to town since the restaurant happened to be nearby. Upon walking in, the decor felt a little confusing. The renovation didn't feel entirely cohesive, which made the atmosphere a bit disjointed. That said, the staff was very friendly, and we were seated quickly. Throughout the meal, however, there seemed to be an underlying sense of stress among the staff that was noticeable despite their efforts to remain professional and attentive. It created a slightly uncomfortable atmosphere at times. For dinner, we ordered the filet with broccoli and French fries, while another guest ordered a salad. Unfortunately, the salad had to be sent back because it arrived with blue cheese despite a requested omission due to an allergy. Thankfully, the issue was corrected. The filet itself was cooked to the requested temperature, and overall the food was fine, but nothing particularly stood out as memorable. Everything was acceptable, though not especially remarkable. Overall, Firebird Grill may work well for larger groups or families looking for a convenient, casual meal, but with so many standout restaurants in Nashville, it's probably not a place I'd personally revisit.
