I've always heard the hype about Whataburger so I had to check it out. It really did not live up to it. My son and I ordered a couple burgers with fries. Place wasn't terribly busy, but it took nearly 30 minutes to get our food and the fries were lukewarm. The burger tasted just like one from Sonic only more expensive. Maybe other stores are better, but I can't see my self ever trying it again. The customer service was quite apathetic. Very overrated and so many better burger places in this city. Tonight's gut was my third time hoping wishing and desiring the same experience I enjoyed at a Texas Whataburger. Third time's rougher than the first two. Tonight was just disgusting. This was my first time eating at Whataburger, and I thought it was good. This restaurant location is new; everything looks nice and clean. There was a long, double line in the drive through. The lady taking orders was having a little difficulty getting orders that had changes to the standard on the menu. It didn't take long to get our order and everything was super fresh. Absolutely delicious and so ecstatic we have some in Tennessee now! My husband and I visited around 2pm on a Thursday afternoon to avoid a lunch or dinner rush and it was worth it! We were in and out in less than 25 minutes. The banana pudding milkshake was to die for. I had the bacon and cheese whataburger with a side of the peppercorn ranch dipping sauce. Food was fine but I've literally never been through a drive thru that took even close to as long as this one took. It actually kind of shocked me because it took about 20 minutes for me to get to the talk box, 10 for them to even start taking my order, and another 20 or so to get my food, which I then found out was missing an item. Great for a 2 AM meal. Meals come out fast and hot. Unfortunately, forget about it during the day. Waited an hour in curbside pickup before going inside. The service sucks. Been there a few times. To many people working the back and no one taking orders. Ordered curbside because I was in a hurry. Should've only taken 5-10 minutes. 20 minutes later I had to go inside and ask for it. My order was just sitting on the counter top. I still waited 5 minutes for someone to get it to me and then I was told "It just came out". When I pulled out and was getting it out I noticed my double only had one patty on it. visited for the very first time Whataburger last evening in Murfreesboro. So here's what I discovered and my experience. the environment in the area of seating? Well, we gotta get on the west clean a car on the menu area was pretty easy to read. But I thought the drinks were somewhat limited. They only offer Coke but not all the Coke products, like some of the places you go into now have the really nice Coke machines and he have probably 30 or 40 different things that you can choose from. you do not have that option here. I personally do not drink Coke products, they do have an over unsweetened tea and sweet tea. However, here they had ran out of sweet tea and so I asked the manager about it and he said he would make some but by the time we finished our food and left. We never got the sweet tea. So I think that was a real downfall on the customer service. We ordered two of the number fours which is a spicy hamburger and then we ordered the bacon spicy hamburger separate. French fries were actually pretty good and they were hot which is important. The hamburgers were OK probably on par with the Burger King whopper. The bacon spicy burger had good flavor, but the bacon was barely cooked and for me I like bacon that is crispy and I just couldn't eat the burger. overall it was a decent experience I was here it's I want to work in the middle between most hamburger places. But I would say, when In-N-Out Burger comes, that's when I real hamburger will be worth taking the time out to enjoy your single or double and fresh french fries. read more

We went here after they had been open over a week and the line of cars was a wonder to behold, lol. Anyway I ordered a cheeseburger with everything. I didn't get that. I got a burger that had meat, cheese and a squirt of mayo. I was so disappointed. I was excited about them opening here because where I came from we had them everywhere and they had the best, biggest burgers around. These are nothing like them. Wanted to try this place, even with the negative reviews. We chose to order ahead while on our way, which was perfect. Arrived about 2 minutes after ordering through the app and was greeted inside by smiling faces. Food was served within another 2 min (order said 4-7 min so it was right on track) Even though it was 8:45am we chose burgers. They were hot and produce fresh. Fries were hot, slightly salted and restaurant was sparkling clean. Employees were very friendly. Maybe the negative reviews were caused by growing pains of a new establishment and new employees. If you're looking for a SLOW fast food place, here's a good one for you. If you relish dirty sticky tables and floors, here it is. If you like dirty self serve soda stations, here's a winner. If you like having condiments you have to pick off a tray held by a food server indicating they have no trust or a lot of theft, you're at home here! If you relish a store manager, who when told you have waited for your dine in order for 40 minutes and he tells you there's nothing you can do about it because he's short staffed, he's the one for you. If you enjoy seeing customers, including whole families walk out without receiving their orders. It's available here. Oh yes, you have to enjoy cold food! Fresh ingredients but a little bland on taste for me it took a while to get my order no real objection to that.
