Went back for another try at Mr. Big Fish with some friends who were in town. Our Server was Vincent and he was excellent. Food and drink orders were delivered quickly and I asked Vincent about the Cioppino and he highly recommended it. It was a delicious dish and rivals versions I've had at other places. I tried my wife's Black Cod dish as well as her Scalloped Potatoes and found them both to be excellent. Mr. Big Fish was crowded but we were able to be seated even though we were 30 minutes early for our reservation. You could tell the Servers were really hustling to keep up with the food and drink orders. This is a well run restaurant with good drinks and good food selections. read more

Another fabulous meal at Mr. Big Fish!! Easily and without a doubt the best restaurant for fresh delicious fish, especially the blackened salmon I get every time I come to Naples! read more

We had appetizers and drinks in the bar area. Food was excellent service was outstanding. Very enjoyable experience and we will be returning. read more

The service was great. Greeted with a smile and didn't stop there. 3 fish at the table were Mahi-mahi, hog fish, and yellow snapper. We all had had least a bite of each. Yellow snapper was my favorite. I am not a fish eater, but I am trying as I get older. Thought if I am gonna keep trying it, this is the place, I can't get any fresher. I'm so glad I did. Will be back anytime I come to town for work. read more

Mr Big Fish - Blackened Mahi-Mahi. Delish! - Seafood Near Me - Naples, Florida

This is a casual seafood restaurant. Large bar with tv sets to watch the football game is a plus. The waiting staff is top notch. Our waiter explained the menu thoroughly. We started out with the large stone crab appetizer. It was super fresh and the mustard sauce was delicious. The bread service was also warm crusty bread with really yummy butter. They kept it coming which was nice. Next we had the snapper sautéed with a delicious butter on the side. The potatoes au gratin side dish is a must try. The meal also comes with a house or Caesar salad. Which is nice since most places don't offer anything free these days. Prices are very fair for the service and quality of the food. I will definitely be back. Don't miss out on this place! This place is very clean. read more

The calamari & yellowtail snapper were both outstanding & Starlin did a great job behind the bar. Will definitely be back !

The food was delicious and the service was second to none!!!! We sat outside which also was great!!

We were disappointed with Mr Big Fish after reading the positive reviews. We arrived without a reservation on a Thursday evening and the place was packed. There was a 20 minute wait but we found a spot at the bar. There was only 1 bartender and she was frenetically trying to serve everyone. She did a great job given the number of customers. We ordered the Walleye with Parmesan panko crust, and the shrimp Oscar. The included Caesar salad had so much dressing that I couldn't eat it. The bartender brought another garden salad with the dressing on the side but the dressing just didn't taste good. The walleye had no taste at all. I like a mild fish but this was so mild I couldn't taste anything. The spinach had too much oil in it. The shrimp Oscar was quite tasty and was the only thing we really enjoyed. Clearly a lot of people feel differently about the food than we did, but if you're a foodie you may want to go elsewhere. read more

The food was delicious. We had reservations but a long wait. The restaurant booked reservations based on people being seated on the patio when it was 40-50 windy degrees outside. That is quite cold for Naples and an unrealistic expectation. read more

Most delicious food . Excellent service . This is the best seafood this side of Cape Cod

My husband and I had dinner on the 13th of February 2025. It was absolutely amazing. I started with a Key Lime Martini and my husband had a tropical bourbon drink. My husband had the mussels and fresh Haddock coated with Parmesan Panco crust. Loved it I had Oysters Rockefeller without bacon(very hard to find) so plumb, tender and juicy served with a wonderful sauce. Just heavenly! The White Clam Pasta loaded with clams and so delicious. My husband had Chianti with his dinner and I had Prosecco . I brought home the Lobter Pasta dish to have for Valentines Day dinner at home. Also brought home the Carrot Cake to share. Needless to say we have found the best seafood restaurant in Naples!!!!. The service was impeccable. The ambience was adorable and well as I said before could not be better. We will be back several times. read more

I will start by saying this would probably be better in the restaurant than eaten as take out. Coleslaw you might as well skip, needs something extra in it to give some oomph. Clam chowder was delicious but there was a lot of sand in my clams. Calamari didn't have much flavor and was quite limp. For that I'm going to guess it's because I did takeout. I'd give this a second chance but would eat at the restaurant instead. Staff who helped when I picked up were great and the place was packed so clearly a favorite. read more

This place was so good that my friends and I went twice during our weekend in naples! This is a family restaurant and the servers were so nice. We sat outside for dinner because the weather was cool and not humid for once in Florida. The service was still amazing and nothing felt delayed. We got massive servings of salads as appetizers and Most of us ordered the Angry Lobster Pasta and for good reason too! There were big chunks of lobster in creamy tomato sauce. Another person got the blackened sea bass and If you like sea bass this will be the best thing you've ever had. Someone else got the fried trout and that looked so fresh. I'm a big seafood person so I like to pay attention to the quality of the seafood. If I ever come back to naples again I would definitely get dinner here again! read more

Would be 5 stars except for the 30 minute wait past our resv time. Awesome service by Krissy (ask for her!). Expansive fish menu with specials as well. The black grouper and crab cakes were both awesome!! This is a crazy busy spot, but worth the wait! read more

Other than almost freezing to death this place Is good No, not sitting outside in heat and facing the parking lot You pay for what you get Not cheap but food is fresh Fish is fresh There's a bar and specials but nothing we were interested in Do not fall into the unhealthy breaded deep fried stuff Service excellent This place is full during season Call ahead and make reservations, tho we just don't come until the Snow Birds are gone read more

Found a bustling family owned seafood specialty restaurant near the Waterside Shops in Naples, Florida. Decor was Crab Shack/Red Lobster/Cap'N Crunch kitschy, but the food was far superior to those (except for the Cap'N, he's the best!). Sea bass was melt-in-your-mouth tender and juicy. Grilled lobster was slightly underdone with translucent flesh still on the underside, but much preferable to overdone/dry lobster. All the vegetables were, surprisingly, perfectly cooked as if they were intended to be mains, not sides. The seasalt caramel cheesecake and coffee were both also very decent for the family restaurant segment. Very well prepared, fresh and fairly priced seafood in Naples. read more

Our first time (finally) and Mr. Big Fish did not disappoint. Place was packed for a Monday night. We had a reservation but had to wait a few extra minutes for our table (it was worth it!). Our server Krissy was amazing! Great personality (just our type of person!) We were with our friends who had been before and raved about it. They loved Krissy too! Food was so fresh and cooked wonderfully! Staff was so welcoming and fun even thought the place was crazy. We loved it and will return - hopefully to get Krissy again as our server.. lots of laughs with her! Great experience all around. Crista and Joe Mango, North Naples read more

we love this place. Great food and Krissy was wonderful with us. highly recommend and will de come back

food excellent, service great , as alway. flexi if you want to be seated earlier by sitting outside. Friendly.

Excellent New England style seafood restaurant. The offer w variety of fresh and seasonal seafood dishes, choice of sides, salad etc. The servers are also great and very welcoming. Theyre also great for groups, outdoor seating and have a decent bar area. I only wish that the menu was more diverse, perhaps offering some more side item choices. But it's definitely our top choice for seafood in the area. read more

Five star isn't enough for the team behind the bar yesterday afternoon and evening. Maggie and Starlyn what can I say AMAZING. We really enjoyed Happy Hour. The food was outstanding. So the inside is really dark I didn't care for that, but that is a preference. Now a restaurant is judged on its food and service. Our service was over the top fabulous, Nick is amazing. You know someone is really committed to their job when they take their time with customers that have health issues. Never impatient, with a genuine kindness , it was a pleasure to watch. The food was stellar. For me the benchmark is how good is the complimentary bread and salad as that is areas where most restaurants cut corners. Bread was hot and fresh, salad was crisp, vegetables were fresh, dressing was homemade not bottled. My blackened Mahi was delicious and came with a lemon butter sauce. Fresh spinach and asparagus were cooked to perfection. Prices were great, can not wait to go back. I would also add that they have specials where you get entrees, your choice of sides and a bottle of wine all value priced and it is super reasonable for such quality food. We had a fabulous time tonight and you will too if you check out this wonderful eatery. read more

Food was good and service friendly. Got there in the early side of dinner and kicked out with $2 off each glass of wine. We had the grilled octopus and it was delicious. The mahi mahi and scallops for main course were also delish. Bar was busy with locals which is a good sign. read more

Great happy hour specials at the bar! I had a glass of Kendal Jackson Chardonnay my husband had beer. We started out with crab dip, grouper bites, zucchini sticks and oysters. I wasn't a fan of the crab dip. It was just bland to me. The grouper bites were delicious. You get about 5-6 pieces. Zucchini sticks were fried perfectly and served with ranch dipping sauce. For dinner we shared shrimp scampi. It had lots of garlic! So no smooches lol We got a slice of carrot cake to go and it was huge! I'd definitely stop by if you are in the area. read more

Save your money and go somewhere else. The portions they serve at happy hours for the price they charge is absolutely pathetic. I had read few reviews before going, and some made it sound great. For obviously similar reasons to our experience the place was totally empty with few customers drinking at the bar. Absolutely not worth the money, they give you tiny portions to take a picture off not to eat. read more

I never like to give a bad review. BUT very dissatisfied. Ordered take out, Simple order: spicy salmon roll and salmon hand roll (14 dollars) for the hand roll ridiculous! Picked up my order which was not a spicy salmon but just a salmon roll with no soy sauce, ginger or wasabi only a red dipping sauce. Called and the owner wanted me to texted a picture. Comment; Well that's how it comes was their comment. Hummmm Really missed my ginger and wasabi. read more
