Fresh Catch Inland is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in town. Their happy hour alone is worth the visit, great deals on martinis and small bites, and everything we've tried has been spot-on. The octopus comes highly recommended by just about everyone, and after trying it myself, I completely understand why. It's absolutely delicious. The hush puppies were perfectly crunchy, not greasy at all, and paired with an amazing sauce that really tied everything together. They recently started offering Sunday brunch, and my entire group is still talking about how good it was. I ordered the chicken and biscuits, and honestly, the gravy was so good I could eat an entire bowl of it on its own. The hot honey added just the right amount of heat and balance. Dinner is just as impressive and definitely worth checking out. There's truly something for everyone on the menu. The sea bass was cooked perfectly, and I love that they offer different chef's specials every weekend, it keeps things exciting. They also roll out new dessert options nightly and are constantly introducing creative new dishes. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. We've say in both the bar area and the main area and enjoyed both. On top of all that, the staff is always amazing. Theyre fun to interact with, attentive without hovering, and full of great recommendations. You can really tell they care about the experience. Beautiful buildout of a previous restaurant. Bright happy and open. Our server was professional, knowledgeable and even had a sense of humor as he played along with our teasing. The three of us had very separate dinners and no complaints in terms of presentation, amount of food and quality. I had the Triple-tail blackened, with an amazing sauce. Came upon this place on our drive down to Broward. We sat at the bar. The service was great! Friendly, great recommendations and accommodating. The jam burger was delicious. I subbed in a side of the brussel caesar and it was fresh and full of flavor. My boyfriend got the blackened grouper sandwich. It was thick and very fresh. It was a little less blackening than we would think but good flavor. The fresh cut sweet potato fries were a perfect addition. Went to happy hour in the bar last week. Food was fantastic and very fresh. We had a great bartender who was very busy and attentive to everyone who came for happy hour. For those of you who go to a busy mall during happy hour and yell at a bartender because you are not getting your food fast enough, and then threaten to have this young women fired, stay home! We were shopping in the area and decided to check out Fresh Catch. It looked nice from the outside, though I did notice the parking lot was pretty empty for a Friday evening. We arrived around 7:30 PM. Inside, it was quiet but clean. The chef was casually chatting with the hostess, and we were seated right away. Once taken to the back, we saw that the restaurant was nearly empty. Our waitress was bubbly and enthusiastic. I don't remember her name, but she had a blonde pixie cut and brought a refreshing energy to the experience. I originally ordered the scallops, but they were out for the day, so I pivoted to the Tuscan chicken pasta. It wasn't my first choice, and overall, the menu didn't really draw me in. We also ordered the truffle fries, crab cakes, and shrimp Mediterranean. The truffle fries were okay, nothing bad to say but nothing special either. The crab cakes tasted like they had filler, and the risotto in the shrimp Mediterranean was cooked a bit too soft, bordering on mushy. On the bright side, the Tuscan chicken pasta was flavorful and the chicken was tender. The food took longer than expected. Just as I started wondering where it was, it finally arrived. Given how empty the place was, I expected quicker service. That's definitely an area of opportunity for the kitchen. The Caesar salad was also just okay. The dressing was a bit bland and didn't stand out. Overall, I'd give this experience a 3. I didn't leave completely disappointed, but I can't say I'd return or feel excited to try something else on the menu. Very nice location in Coconut Point shopping center. This location has housed several different restaurants, but this one seems more upscale. They did a great job renovating the place, it's got a clean crisp feel. Plenty of service staff and our waitress was super attentive. It's all about seafood. Menu is simple, offering a mix of basics, Wahoo, Grouper, Shrimp, etc cooked as you like it. As well, they offer some nice signature dishes, seafood and chicken and sandwiches. Nice wine list as well. Overall it was on the pricier side, but a good night had by one and all. read more

My friend stopped in impromptu today for lunch and chose to eat in the bar area which is lovely, bright, cool, comfortable and service was great. Happy hour is from 12-6, however the first part of Happy Hour is for drinks only, and most patrons were have drinks and they looked great too. We decided to go for the lunch menu, with my friend having Grouper sandwich, & fries(huge serving -weshared) and I had blackened grouper bites and hush puppies(we shared)! delicious food and great service! I will be back for Happy Hour drinks and food 3-6 pm everyday! So happy we decided to stop in, even with a lacking of cars in parking lot. read more

Had Happy Hour and dinner in the bar area. Numerous high top and small booth style seating around the bar, which is great for those who want to take part in the Happy Hour and not have to sit at the bar. My extra dry martini was perfect and my dates Negroni was perfect as well. We had the Shrimp Kickers appetizer from the Happy Hour menu. A dozen shrimp came lightly battered and tossed in spicy sauce with arugula....Excellent. My date had the Prime Rib special with a baked potato and Brussels Sprouts. The prime rib was tender and cooked to perfection. Queen size cut was huge. I had the Grouper sandwich with hand cut fries and the Brussels Caesar salad which we shared. Maureen was our server and she was wonderful. The experience was great and we will be back. read more

This is a nautical themed seafood restaurant with coastal ambience. Bustling during happy hour and early evenings. Swordfish was presented nicely, grilled in perfect criss-cross fashion. Delish entrees enjoyed in our group, but service was slow and off. Food runners brought out salads before cocktails arrived. Long delay, even after inquiring. Definitely some kinks to work out with being a newer restaurant, but overall, worth the dining experience and would go again. read more

The restaurant was beautiful. We sat at a high top booth in the bar for lunch. Our server, Jenn, was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, etc. I give her 5 stars. I'm gluten intolerant. She double checked some items with the chef to be sure they were safe for me to eat. The chef came out personally (as well as the manager) to assure me they had my back!! Horrible experience! Local resident that brought in out-of-town family...will NEVER be back. Poorly trained staff and a restaurant manager that is completely rude and incompetent. Never sat down for our reservation, and we walked out after a very poor interaction with the manager. The owners of Fresh Catch should be appalled & embarrassed with the representation of their restaurant. My GFs and I decided to give this new restaurant a try. We won't be back! Atmosphere was nice and inviting. Hostess was pleasant and the vibe felt great. Until our waitress Monica waited on us. My GF and I are bubbly happy go lucky people. Okay, obviously Monica was having a rough night. We've all been there. But, we blew off her aggression and said we might have another person join us and she pointed out the two other plates and said "yes, that's why I left other plates." Oh, good thinking I said. Then, my friend went to the restroom and Monica asked if I wanted another round of drinks. I said yes for me but I wasn't sure about my friend yet. Then my other friend arrived and my friend came out of the restroom. We introduced everyone and my drink came out. Monica asked my friend that just arrived what her order was-no menu was given to her-but she ordered a red wine. And then my friend from the restroom said wanted another drink. I was talking to my friend and I said oh yes, she wants another one and Monica seemed to get very angry and said "yes I already have her drink in, you don't need to tell me what she wants, and I said oh, I'm sorry, I was telling my friend she wanted another one, I don't know what she ordered with you. Monica walked away shaking her head like I was an idiot. I then got up to apologize to Monica because this incident was ridiculous. Monica didn't want to hear my apology and formed her own opinion being negative when I gave her an explanation. That's when I had enough and went to the hostess asking for the manager. I was so upset I put my hand down hard on the counter and my bracelet fell off. The very nice hostess apologized and said the general manager was not in and the chef was the manager. I asked to speak with the chef and was told he was busy. Thus, I said thank you and I will give applicable ratings regarding my sour experience. I won't be back! Regarding the food, I ordered the pecan crusted grouper. It was okay-very sweet with the mango sauce. I've had better meals for the price. Not impressive. The rice was overcooked and sticky. Stuck to my Teeth. The drinks were good and the salad was good esp with the miso dressing. There are so many wonderful restaurants nearby where you can go and have a blast with delicious food and kind, nice wait staff. This restaurant is not one of them. I guess the chef heard about my request to see him. He stopped at our table when the food came out which was nice but he failed to come out after we had enough of being insulted by Monica with an attitude and mean disposition. Fortunately, another waiter helped us after I complained sour attitude Monica. Beware, esp if Monica is still employed there. She had the cute pixie blonde haircut but the way she acted towards us, I don't appreciate paying almost 150 for two meals and drinks to be insulted. We did tip 20 percent-because we had a different waiter towards the end of our miserable dining experience. I don't expect this restaurant to stay open long. Adios! read more
