Hogfish Harry's is a hidden gem of an eatery located inside the Park Shore Resort in Naples. As I drove up trying to find it, it's a little hidden but just follow the navigation--it's taking you there! I parked near their walkway sign and once I ventured through, it's such a lovely walk up to the restaurant with a bridge over water with fountains and tons of blooms everywhere. Once inside, I was met with a bright, crisp dining room that was clean and comfortable. We started with cocktails and I got their version of a Manhattan, the hog-hattan. It's made with Whistlepig 6 year and came out on the rocks. Manhattans not served up are kinda a pet peeve of mine--but this one? Truly and honestly one of the best Manhattans of my life. The server did not steer me wrong. It was exquisite. For my dinner, my dining companion and I opted for a deal they had that allowed you a starter and main for a reasonable price. I got the kale salad for my starter which was bursting with flavor--chopped kale, brussels sprouts, butternut squash, chevre, and a bright citrus-y vinaigrette--what's not to love? For my main, I got their Mahi Mahi which was also perfectly executed. It was served over a bed of rice and asparagus with chopped mango and a sauce (not sure what kind but balanced the dish perfectly) on top. I would have a hard time not ordering this dish again. I visited the coast and wanted seafood. I searched for the top rated seafood restaurants and Hogfish popped up. I read it was a little tricky to find, because it sits in the middle of a little resort. It's a great walk over a little bridge that crosses over a pond. It resembles a seaside restaurant with lots of seating inside and outside. I sat at the bar and was enthusiastically greeted by the bartender. I asked for her recommendations and I went with the hogfish sandwich. Luckily, she told me I could get it grilled and blackened instead of fried. I could tell they knew how to cook fish because it came out perfectly. Most would probably think it was undercooked, but that's how fish should be cooked. I literally cannot say enough good things about our experience at Hogfish Harry's! For my first visit, my husband and I came for lunch one day while vacationing in Naples about two weeks ago. Our server was also the bartender (Jordan) who was extremely welcoming and super friendly. We told her it was our first time there and she gave us the rundown about the menu and some of the local favorites. We got a coconut shrimp appetizer which was delicious and my blackened grouper Caesar salad was beyond divine. I'm so glad I went with that fish option over the mahi. The grouper was extremely fresh, and the portion size was huge! My husband ordered the mahi-mahi Neuben (I.e. Ruben) which he said was surprisingly good! We also tried a few of the signature cocktails, which to my surprise came in tiki glasses! I absolutely love when a drink comes in fun glassware! Our experience at lunch was so great that we raved about it to our family. Which resulted in us coming back the very next day, but for dinner. We had 24 people in our party! I don't think that we would've been able to do this during peak season so if you're looking to bring a large group, definitely go off - season! Our server for the 24 person dinner with Sam and she was also beyond wonderful! She was our only server and somehow managed to wrangle a table full of chatty adults and six children! Kudos to her! Everything we ordered came out amazing! I absolutely loved the Maine Lobster Salad! Came with a huge portion of lobster, which, for the price was really great! The restaurant has an absolutely wonderful ambience and we were so impressed with the experience, the staff and the food considering this was our first time visiting. They're a bit tucked away inside of a private resort, but since they're open till the public, they do have appropriate signage for the location and it's pretty easy to find. Overall, both dining experiences were absolutely wonderful and I beyond recommend visiting Hogfish Harry's if you're ever in the Naples area. 10/10 recommend! read more

Great service in a great space. We have heard about the good food for a few years and it lived up to the hype. You can eat inside or out by the pool (as it's in a resort). For our first course we tried the mussels -recommended and tasty- the sauce was so nice I hear people order it to take home and make their spaghetti sauce with it. We also tried the coconut shrimp (big and well cooked). For our main course we had Yucatán Hogfish Tacos and crispy hogfish on brioche bun. This is a little bit of a drive from Marco Island but so glad we did and actually went back a second time for that Sticky Toffee Cake, OMG Delicious! Our servers both times were outstanding, you can tell they have been there awhile and knew all the items and made awesome suggestions. Apple Maps stops at the building but you need to work yourself around to the front and follow the signs, they are located in the middle of the complex, don't give up it's worth it!! With a beach airy ambiance you can wear shorts and a t-shirt or a sundress and fit right in. When you go make sure you order the Sticky Toffee Cake first, you will be too full at the end and you don't want to miss it, and this is coming from someone who doesn't like toffee! Cute little place tucked in a resort. We started with a crab cake, which was pretty good. I had a house salad with grilled mahi mahi and goat cheese instead of bleu cheese and it was to die for! This is a hidden gem. It is right off US 41 nested behind a couple apartment buildings and next to a community pool. There was landscaping and a pedestrian bridge on your way to the restaurant. You feel like you are in a resort. Their signature dish is fried hogfish sandwich. Hogfish is a type of white fish and you can't catch by pole. A few of my group went with the sandwich. It looks really good and they all said that was great. I tried the blackened hogfish with the house salad. They had the best house salad in town. All is all, food and service was great. I was so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It was definitely the best place we ate in the Naples area the 10 days I was in town. The location is unassuming and kind of hidden but I felt like it was a good sign to see that it was busy when we arrived. We were seated outside under a fan and it was actually quite nice. There's a pool and an outdoor water feature which has a very retro vibe. I ordered the New England Clam Chowder which was really good. No joke, I'm thinking it's one of the best I've tried and I've tried a lot. I had the lobster roll, which was a cold roll, stuffed full of lobster. My husband had the shrimp and lobster Mac and cheese, and my son got the hogfish. All of our dinners were great. The hog fish was light and buttery, the green beans were amazing and didn't taste like an oversight, and the Mac and cheese was full of shrimp and lobster and not heavy. The tripletail entrée was the standout of the night, perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the yellow-edged Gulf grouper special was also excellent. Everything we ordered was on point. My family and I had the best experience a few weeks ago. I'm not much of a table sitter but Michael ( I think his name is, longer brown hair and a beard) he was phenomenal me and my sons and his wife all work in hospitality and he knocked the experience out of the park. Truly he was the best part, but the food held everything else up. All of our food was delicious. The only downside was trying to figure out how the heck to get to it! But it proved well worth it. #1 this is not a dive, nor is it $$ expensive. Whoever ranked this is an imbecile. $13.00 for a gin and tonic? Huge markup for any salad protein additions doubling the price is not $$. This place is $$$ at least. Not easy to spot, as the address is for a huge resort/condo/whatever. Find the entrance, and you've found the pool side restaurant and its ridiculously small sign. I was served and drank the first gin and flat tonic. Same price as the next G&T? Meh, ok. The main reason to come here is hogfish, which is speared and hunted. We've eaten at Hogfish Harry's a couple of times in the past two years. The menu is eclectic - the breaded hogfish sandwich is terrific, as are their other fish sandwiches. One of our friends tried the grilled chicken sandwich; it was perfectly cooked and delicious. Their clam chowder was nice - a good mix of clams, potatoes and veggies. The service is friendly but slow - it may be that the kitchen was bogged down with orders. I was between a 4 and a 5 here, but I'll go with the benefit of the doubt because I have no real complaints. We wound up here on a Christmas Eve when we didn't have other options, and the place was absolutely hopping! Our server (John) was on point all the way through. Good recommendations, checked on us frequently but not too much. Managers stopped by too to help out ( our wobbly table was fixed in a jiffy!) Friends had the Hogfish which was excellent. I had the triplefin. All were wonderfully prepared with tasty accompaniments and sauce. They had a nice cocktail selection and a better draft beer selection than most Naples-area spots we visit. (Loved the Ankrolab on tap!) Our land-lover enjoyed the ribs, too. This place is a really nice option if you're looking for really nice food but without the 5th avenue pretense. Hogfish Harry's in Naples is one of those rare places that just works. It's incredibly comfortable, no pretension, no scene you have to "fit into." The bar is lively and character filled, while the dining room somehow pulls off an eclectic mix of every generation, most often multi generational, all clearly having a great time. It feels welcoming whether you're there for a drink, dinner, or both. The food is consistently superb. The wedge salad is a standout. Simple, classic, and done right. I did mine with a crab cake is exactly what I was hoping for, packed with crab, not filler and full of flavor. This place knows what it's doing in the kitchen and proves it every time and in every dish. Hope you get our waitress Veronica. She has a great personality and was extremely efficient, friendly and always kept an eye on us. She was on top of everything without rushing us. One last thing. Those one-star Yelp reviews from people who "can't find the place" are beyond ridiculous. It's the 21st century. Everyone has a phone. Everyone has GPS. Satellites are literally floating in space waiting to guide you to dinner. If you still can't locate a well-known restaurant in Naples, that's not a Hogfish Harry's issue, that's a basic life-skills issue. Reviews like that shouldn't count toward the rating at all. If your main complaint is your inability to follow directions, you need to be removed from the Yelp equation entirely. The decor is super cute inside and they have nice patios to sit outdoors. They accommodated my group of 6 easily. The service was great and all the food presented beah. I enjoyed the grouper special, which I loved the parmesan risotto it came with. Unfortunately, the grouper itself was pretty tasteless even blackened, which my friend said the same about her hogfish. The tomato app was delicious as well as the key lime pie and toffee pudding cake. This is a favorite of when we visit Naples! Such a fun place with delicious food! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. This place is tucked away inside a hotel/condo community. There's a creek close by to see turtles on the way from the parking lot to the restaurant. Service was decent but the food was amazing! We were celebrating a birthday and got a slice of their homemade key lime pie. Food is delicious. We started with the fried green tomatoes and the calamari. There are many fresh seafood options. On a Monday night, we were lucky to snag a table without a reservation - they were bumping! The nonstop crowd and charming decor was a great ambience. Next, our server was amazing. He was attentive and clearly a foodie, making great recommendations. We had the shaved brussel and kale salad topped with lightly blackened hogfish, and the crispy fried hogfish (pro tip - you don't need to get it on a bun, order it fish and chips style instead!). The flavor and cooking of everything was spot on. They also had a kid's menu - our toddler killed the mac and cheese (and I appreciated it came with a small cup of fresh fruit). They also provided crayons and a coloring sheet which was great and helped us get through the meal. They offer valet parking, but it's not required. We got a cup of clam chowder to share as a starter and it was loaded with clams and flavor. For entrees we got the fried hogfish sandwich and the blackened grouper sandwich both had sides of fries. We live in South Florida (Fort Lauderdale) and take trips to the keys frequently--some of the best fish sandwiches we've ever had. Fish was so flaky and flavorful, highly recommend. He was on top of our orders, made small talk, was quick to check on us. The food was also excellent. I had the lobster roll, my dad had the Hogfish entree, and my mom had a chicken sandwich. I think next time I'm going to try the hogfish. When in rome, am I right? But the lobster roll was delish. I especially liked the challah roll. The restaurant is nestled in what looks like an old school Naples hotel and so from the outside looking in you wouldn't have been able to tell that the restaurant is here, and the walk to the restaurant so cute but I imagine it wouldn't be ideal during the rainy season. I met a friend here for lunch and ordered the coconut shrimp, the mussels, and two handhelds that included the Hogfish sandwich! service and food were amazing! A little slice of paradise hidden within units, but protected by a moat filled with turtles. I loved my Hog-hatten made with Whistle Pig Rye, but the reason to go is for the Hogfish. Our party had it added to yummy salads, one blacked & one fried. I had the sandwich, but grilled and it was very good. I've been coming here for quite some time and have brought a lot of friends and family here. We basically have the Hogfish entree most of the time. Was there 3 weeks ago with family and suggested they get the Hogfish. Four of us did and it looked slightly different none of the usual sauces surrounding it and the taste wasn't there. First time this happened. Didn't enjoy it as we always had for a few years. I didn't do a review because didn't want to disparage the restaurant. But last night found out the Phelan Family Brands acquired the restaurant last March. I last dined there four months ago and it was fine, the same as the previous 5 years. It all changed since then I guess. They own Pinchers and other restaurants. So there it is. Never liked Pinchers after a one time visit a few years ago, and/or they may have a new chef. I spent close to $400 for a meal that was no longer the same and lacking the flavorful sauces surrounding it. Only found this out yesterday. Will have to stay away some time and see if the pictures and reviews have changed since the new ownership in March 2025. As a diner in Naples, aren't always hearing about the transitions in businesses. Can sometimes only tell by the change in the food. I'm going to post the only picture from four months ago and the hogfish I had in December was nothing like this. No colorful flavorful sauces. Caution, they have new owners. This is why they were closed for a weekend of so-called remodeling. The ventilation inside that building....there is none. The air-conditioning does not work. When you see the entire staff drowning in their sweat, there's a couple of caution flags there as well. The food is not as good as the last time we were there. The slaw and sauce on the sandwich were a little bland, but the entrée's flavors were spot on. My son ordered the chicken tenders, but they were unfortunately so tough he couldn't eat them.
