Great concept and amazing ice cream. Lots of flavors to choose from. Very unique ones. Several sugar free and as well as low sugar choices.

After breakfast we wanted to just check out this place to come back another time. BUT we failed. Lol. We ended up getting a coconut beverage that was delicious. The service was fantastic. The gentleman that was working was so nice. He offered us samples. And we were sold. They had an ice cream called angels breath which is like nothing I've ever tried before. So yummy. If you're looking for a delicious dessert this place is a must. Of and they have a pretty cool photo op wall

Fantastic homemade ice cream with a few unique Hispanic flavors of ice cream and sweet treats as well! Very reasonably priced and the service was friendly!

This location is in a strip mall. It looks very appealing from the outside. Once inside it is nicely decorated, feels like an ice cream shop. The reason for the lower rating compared to others is because both my wife and I felt the flavor additives tasted fake! We come from an area in PA that has some very good real homemade ice cream with real all natural additives to enhance the flavor or create different flavors. My wife had Chocolate Coconut and Butter Pecan. The chocolate didn't taste like chocolate and didn't melt in your mouth or dissolve. The Butter Pecan didn't have any Pecans and didn't have the buttery taste you would expect. I had the Coconut and the Pina Colada. The Coconut was the best of the 4 flavors and had coconut in it. The Pina Colada tasted really fake. The ice cream seemed to lack milk fat and wasn't as creamy as one would expect from homemade. If it wasn't this expensive, we probably would have thrown them away ($14.98 for 2 double scoop cups). I think next time we will just go to Culver's!

Michoacana Ice Cream offers a delightful take on the classic banana split. The bananas are perfectly ripe, complementing the creamy and flavorful scoops of ice cream ( I choose pistacho, cookies and cream and coconut). Topped with rich chocolate syrup and marshmallow, fresh whipped cream, and a generous sprinkle of nuts, strawberry and cherries topping too and each bite is a harmonious blend of textures and tastes. The presentation is visually appealing, and the portion size is satisfying without being overwhelming. For anyone craving a nostalgic and indulgent treat, Michoacana's banana split is a must-try. Also, service made me feel very welcome. Def will try it again soon!

I tried the sugar-free Citric Substance in a waffle cone bowl and really enjoyed it. The liquid nitrogen process makes the ice cream extra creamy and smooth. Everything is made to order, so there are tons of flavors and mix-in options to customize. On our visit, one employee put your flavors together in a bowl, while another employee processed the Nitrogen portion. Cool to visit a company that was featured on Shark Tank back in 2013. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!

The place has a good layout, with ice-cream themed decor and plenty of seating. The main area did have a wall stacked with dozens of boxes and a ladder in public view which could have been hidden away, but it was still comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful in explaining the process to us newcomers. You start with a size of small, regular or large (the small is pretty big, as it should be for the price) and a base (Original, Custard, Low-fat, No Sugar Added, Lactose Free, Yogurt (fat free) and Coconut (vegan). My wife chose the coconut as she is trying to limit Diary and I went with the original, both of us ordering a small. You can then choose one of their 12 pre-set menu items like the Chocolate Conduction or Strawberry Sigma which were the two my wife and I chose, or you can pick your own flavor (about 30 options) and Mix-in about 15 options or another apx 20 sweets like Cookie dough or Twix. My wife's strawberry was lovely, and mine was a bit rich, which I expected based on the ingredients. From here, they add the base and ingredients into a bowl, stir it up, turn non the nitrogen and you watch the worker mix it up for a few minutes. And the final product is some really nice tasting ice cream, made to your taste or diary preferences which are infante. The downside, it's expensive in my opinion. For two small ice creams, a bottle of water and the expected tip during checkout, it was $25.75. As much as I liked it, this will limit my coming back. It's novel and tastes good, but you are paying for the entertainment value which is also a drawback in that it's slow. Some ice cream places have a spout of free cold water on the counter and available to customers, which would be a nice touch considering the price point, saving me a few dollars of needing to buy a water, I think it's worth trying out if your pocketbook can accommodate.

I went with the Cookie Monster flavor because, well, I like cookies, and I like monsters--seemed like a win-win. What I didn't expect was the shocking amount of food coloring, which, let's just say, made for a memorable bathroom experience the next morning.
