Fast service, generous portions, and amazing ice cream! We got the blue cookie and it was delicious.

It's been a few years since my last visit so let's do an update... Last night Wifey and I jumped in the car after sunset and went to Beebe's for some ice cream. Last time we were here Wifey passed on dessert, but was in the mood this time. When we arrived there was no one in the store so we took our time looking at the flavors. Wifey decided on Peanut butter chocolate chip, and I quote "Biggest chunks of peanut butter I've ever had in ice cream." She loved it. Though I wanted two flavors, I didn't really want the two scoop size...unfortunately they won't out two flavors in a small so I splurged and got the Butterscotch blast (or something like that) and German chocolate. The Butterscotch was actually better than the chocolate, but they were both great. Word of warning- when it's 1000 degrees, trying to eat ice cream can be challenging - thankfully we got our ice cream in cups and not cones. One negative...their spoons suck (well, two if you count not allowing two flavors in a small). Spoons are way too bendy and weak for hard ice cream. Service was great - kid served us first even though a bigger group came in behind us ready to order (we were still looking at the flavors. Seems like Beebe's is another "Go-To" spot around here so just know there could be a line... read more

The ice cream here is actually good. Everything else, not so much. It's as if they said, let's sell some ice cream and just figure the rest out. Except they never figured the rest out. My family and I have been coming here for years, and we love it! The flavors are always great, and the service is excellent. We stopped in recently (June 11th) and noticed there was only one employee working. I wanted to give a HUGE shoutout to the girl who was working that day. The place was packed, and she was nonstop helping customers for well over an hour. She stayed calm, collected, and efficient the entire time. Lots of flavors--when they aren't sold out. We had 5 in our party. All but one of us had to make a 2nd or 3rd choice due to being sold out. So, although very nice they have like 30 flavors, it was disappointing to have to re-make a choice (especially for kids). The kids sizes were plenty large. About 3 smaller scoops of ice cream. Delicious classic + cute little ice cream shop in Marco island!!! Everything was creamy and super cold (I hate a warm already halfway melted ice cream cone). My sister loved her sundae, and my mint chocolate chip was delicious! Great place for dessert across from the vacation club within walking distance. Kids working did a good job. read more

The ice cream is average, at best. The available number of flavors was limited, but I was told a shipment was due in a couple of hours. Will I get the same excuse tomorrow? If you come for a scoop or two and don't want a cone, then bring your own spoon. The spoons they provide are soft plastic and bend like rubber as you try to scoop a spoonful. I can give them a big plus for for serving up "frozen" ice cream. Don't plan on sitting. There is standing room, but no tables or chairs for sitting. I grew up coming to Beebes with my family and now I have my own children I love to bring here! Such wonderful memories here. We have a picture of all generations and their blue tongues for C is for cookie. The last year I am so disappointed in what is happening to our favorite ice cream shop when we come in. The place is radiating heat and always out of stock, the cleanliness is very concerning and looks like it is falling apart. Makes me so sad. Sincerely hope Beebes can turn it around! read more

I read a study recently, and it showed that the more options you offer people, the harder it is for them to make a decision... I am here to say it is TRUE!! Beebe's has ATLEAST 30 different flavors to choose from, and they are all fabulous! A lot of old faves like rum raisin & pecan praline. But there were also some really new ones like caramel caribou and moose tracks! There were 6 of us, and the unanimous decision was that it did not matter what you ordered. Whatever you get, you are sure to be happy!! Not to mention, the shop is nice, bright, and clean, and the scoopers were SO SO patient and will let you try flavors first. On that note... We love the Carvelli group restaurants so are in this spot often. We like to grab a scoop of ice cream after but I recall this place being much better a few years ago... The last couple of times we went, it was decent ice cream but mediocre service. This time the service was nonexistent and bordering on rude. Felt as though we were imposing by coming in and taking a minute to decide. Got the stare down so just ordered quickly to get out of there. Multiple flavors were "sold out". If you want the same ice cream (a bit better in my opinion) but cheaper and with MUCH better service, hit up Sweet Annie's on the north end. Definitely worth the extra drive! read more

So disappointed in our trip to Beebe's. This was my third visit in as many months and the soft ice cream machine (that they advertise in huge letters in their windows) remained broken. And they have no concern about it nor can they say when it will be fixed. Customer service is nonexistent. And though they do have a lot of variety for hard ice cream, their soda fridge is empty, the arcade game is "out if order" and it just has a very run down atmosphere. Beebe's Ice Cream is located in the shopping center with the movie theater, right next to the Alvin's Island (right across from the Hilton Marco Island). Upon entering, you'll see 3-4 cases of frozen treats! My partner and I decided on frozen ice cream (single scoop in a cup for around $5 each). I ordered the "Let There Be Cake" ice cream (yellow cake with vanilla ice cream) and it was very tasty and flavorful! It was a little figure out what the process was to order, but once we got one of their employee's attention, the employee was very friendly and helpful! read more

We came here on one evening around 8pm, and it was quite busy. I guess everyone had the same idea... When we went back around 2pm on another day, it was the complete opposite, it was nice and quiet... Less than handful of people came and left with their sweet goodness. They had lots of flavors, but you have to walk all over the store in order to see all the options, and therefore, line of people get lost... Then, whoever made a decision on what they want will call out to the staff and make their orders. Not very efficient when it is really crowded. On the first visit, we got Raspberry Truffle in a cup and Pistachio in a cup. Single scoop was REALLY large! Super generous amount gets packed into the cup. You might want to think twice before ordering more than one scoop. They were very flavorful and tasty! On our second visit, we decided to get different flavors, but in a waffle cone. Why? Because they had $10 minimum with credit card, and we had no cash... We got Mint Chip and Cookies 'n Cream in waffle cone. My goodness they were huge and great! The staffs here were efficient and friendly, and the price was great for the amount you receive here. With its convenient location and great amount of flavor offerings, it sure was a perfect spot to go get some afternoon snack. read more

Rather pricey for what you get. The place could use some windex on the doors upon entry and again on the ice cream cases. They carry a lot of flavors but it really needs a good cleaning. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place. We showed up 20 mins to 10 and they were already closed. There were two girls inside who refused to make eye contact. I then called them and they answered. I was told that they closed because they were deep cleaning and short staffed. As we were pulling away, two other families walked up and experienced the same treatment. If they needed to deep clean, there should be a sign or the girls could have at least stated that at the time instead of ignoring us completely. After being on marco for a few days, (and getting ice cream nearly every day... okay, multiple times per day) I had yet to find a place that was truly delicious. Until I found Beebe's! The ice cream was rich and delicious. My family got the vanilla, caramel peanut butter, strawberry, and black raspberry. All very good, but the fruit ones were especially rich and delicious. Definitely no skimping on the ingredients! It gets a little busy around dinner/after dinner which is to be expected. The soft serve machine was broken, but after working at a restaurant with a soft serve machine, I know those things break on the reg. Not a problem for me. Located in a corner shopping strip area w/ a handful of other restaurants. Parking is tight so, if you can walk, do it. Plan on enjoying your ice cream outside due to Covid-19. Great ice cream stop with tons of yummy choices...a little pricey for a family so we only did it once.

This is a 5 star place. We got ice creams to go almost every night of our trip. Even with a large group everyone had a flavor they loved!!

Nothing beats homemade flavor combinations and walking distance from the hotel. Generous scopes and welcoming staff.
