Wow, what a great restaurant! They only take reservations for indoor seating and we wanted to sit outdoors, which is first come first serve. We only waited about 10 minutes. The staff was absolutely incredible. The atmosphere was vibrant yet upscale. We started off with complementary bread with an oil (& something paste - I didn't catch the name) which was excellent. I ordered the Cernia Alla Pescatore ($52): grouper, clams, mussels, shrimp, garlic, white wine sauce, grape tomatoes served over spinach linguine. All entrées come with a house salad or you can do an upgrade to a Caesar. I chose the house salad that comes with balsamic vinaigrette. Very well put together, light and refreshing. The Cernia Alla Pescatore was very flavorful and everything was cook to perfection. For desert, I had the Profiteroles ($17): cream puff filled with vanilla ice cream and topped with hot chocolate fudge. What a great way to end a fantastic meal!!! Overall, yes, this was a splurge (expensive) meal but so well worth it!! Highly recommend for a special occasion! read more

Came here with coworkers while at a nearby hotel, and we absolutely loved it! Everyone enjoyed their salads and pasta. I'm still dreaming about the Zuppa de Pesce. Our waiter Juan was also very attentive and friendly. Definitely a nice place for a date night, so I can't wait to return with my spouse some day. read more

We had dinner reservations at DaVinci's on Marco Island and arrived early for happy hour . The Floridian margarita, Manhattan, and espresso martini were all excellent. We shared polpette alla parmigiana (meatballs), ravioli alla vodka, and rollatini di melanzane (eggplant rollatini) -- every bite was delicious. When our table was ready, we decided to stay at the bar and order another ravioli alla vodka. Best choice! Since they knew we were celebrating my birthday, they surprised me with a beautiful "Happy Birthday" plate topped with profiterole and vanilla gelato . Our waiter Rafael, a wonderful young man from Spain, was beyond excellent -- friendly, professional, and made the night so special! Thank you Davinci we will be back on our next Marco Island visit! This is a favorite! read more

Fantastic Italian experience at a well established eatery. Everything about our evening worked out well from the reservation, wait time (5 minutes), waitress, menu and specials for the day, drinks, and of course the food was delicious and well presented. We had Caesar salad with anchovies which was delicious. The veal DaVinci was excellent-tender, well portioned and tasty. My wife had the Zappa Di Pesce which was also delicious-tender, cooked perfectly and tasty. We were never rushed and our food was served in a timely manner. A word of caution-arrive a few minutes early to find parking if you're dining at a popular time! read more

Food is great. No complaints there. Just a tourist trap feel overall. The price point is high considering the level of atmosphere. It's not something I would travel for. Service was ok. I was handed a hot dirty glass for my bottled water which I am paying for and tipping on and the bartender made a joke "you don't like it dirty?" I took a beverage napkin and cleaned it myself and laughed it off but it came off rude. I was also sitting with my husband on our vacation for our anniversary. I'm tipping you dude just be nice man. What an unbelievable dinner we had at Davinci's tonight! This is Friday night and it was buzzing here on the Plaza. The place was packed. We had a 7:15 reservation but had to wait an additional 10 minutes before we were able to be seated outside. Even outside the chatter was so loud, we couldn't hear each other talk. And even as tables finished and left, more parties sat down. However, I could understand why so many people had Davinci's on their restaurant priority list. First, we had great service. Brett was our waiter. He reviewed the menu with us and guided us to make the right choices. They were very careful to address our food allergy concerns. We were first presented with a warm bread basket and a sun-dried tomato Mediterranean dip which Larry couldn't get enough of. We ordered the fig, prosciutto and goat cheese appetizer which had amazing presentation and was a delightful choice. Paul had the lasagna entree. Even though it didn't come out hot enough for him, they took it back many times till it met with his satisfaction. Larry wanted veal Marsala which wasn't on the menu, but they had no issue with preparing that for him. He loved it and gobbled it up. Barbara and I both ordered the veal chop Milanese which totally shocked us because it was an overwhelmingly huge portion made to perfection. We never expected that. It also came with a side plate of various colored roasted peppers. All the entrees came with an initial salad as well. We came away with a huge shopping bag of leftovers and plastic silverware to enjoy by the pool tomorrow. This will be a nice treat. We couldn't order dessert after our meals. So this was our last meal on vacation and we ended on a high note. We hope to return here on a future trip next year. read more

If you are spending time on Marco put this in your list. The food is fantastic and the service is impeccable. I had a Caesar salad and added the anchovies to start. My entree was the Ravioli Di Mare; $48.00. The ravioli was filled with Maine Lobster, topped with Seared Sea Scallops, Truffle Fondue, and Creamed Corn. It was fantastic. The wine list is exhaustive. You will find something you like. The ambiance is serene as I ate outside. Highly recommend. read more

This was our second year in Marco and we knew we would be eating at DaVincis again but did not know we'd visit twice in the same week! We enjoyed it so much earlier in the week we decided to end our vacation there too. To start we had the bruschetta--out of this world! And the calamari--also great! I love that they also give you bread with an olive tapenade--so good. My husband hasn't stopped talking about his grouper dinner. We ended with a chocolate brownie cake dessert with amazing cherries throughout. Truly awesome! I will say, if you're going for a romantic date night vibe, ask to be seated in the back of the restaurant away from the bar and entrance--you get a totally different vibe! read more

A sister of mine and her husband joined me for Happy Hour at Davinci's. We sat at the bar facing the pizza coal oven and TV, i rather have been facing the floor area to see the action than facing the wall but what can you do. The 25% off applied during June Swoon. Even way back in the day, i really liked when this restaurant on Friday/Saturday night at 11:30pmEst would have staff members pick the tables up off the floor and take it to the back clearing a dance floor with a DJ. It was the nightlife spot on the island and they definitely should consider bringing that back as a service to the community who needs some social activity! Complimentary bread while drinking is a nice added touch, to add garlic bread in lieu of that would be extraordinary! I had Pinot Grigio which was fine, sister had a margarita which was a little juicy, and brother by marriage had a martini with an olive! We got the Margherita Pizza, which was good itself on face value, but i still needed ranch, when i asked for it, they said it's an Italian restaurant and they dont have it, and yet ive even had the great combination of pizza with ranch and a sprite in Rome, Italy! If no ranch, then atleast a garlic to dip it in, people need as much taste as possible when eating. 60% of the meals i eat are with ranch being involved. and i aint asking for the sinks in the bathrooms to have pedals underneath to turn it on like they got in Rome, Italy too, ha LoL! Plus, i do think it was a mistake to take down the Mona Lisa painting and also of Leonardo Da Vinci in the back-back, that was worth visiting just to go back and see it! Thank you! :) read more

We brought in the New Year at DaVinci's! Our waiter for the night was Khan, and he was top tier! Since it was their New Year menu, the options were limited. So a lot of the dishes that were recommended were not available. We started our night with a bottle of white wine (dry) and the Carpaccio Di Manzo and Burratina E. Prosciutto . The appetizers were both flavorful. For the soups, I ordered the Bisque Di Aragosta (lobster bisque) which came out luke warm. I would give it a 2.0 because I have had better. My boyfriend had Pasta E. Fagioli, which he enjoyed. For the main entree, I had the Costina Di Manzo (short ribs) and he had the Ravioli Di Mare (lobster with scallops). We have definitely had better short ribs in the past. However their ribs were tender and tasty but warm. None of the meals came out hot. :( Towards the end of the night, they had a dj and moved a few of the tables and turned the space into a dance floor. I'm not sure if this happens every night or if it was just to bring in the New Year. Overall, maybe we would return to try their full menu, maybe not. read more

This was our first time visiting Marco Island, and after reading several positive reviews, we decided to try DaVinci's Restaurant. I'm a big fan of Italian food, so I had high hopes for this place. The service was definitely the highlight of our visit our waiter was very attentive and worked hard to ensure we had everything we needed. Unfortunately, the food didn't meet our expectations. I ordered the Lasagna and Pasta Fagioli soup. The soup was just okay the flavor was average, and I personally don't like carrots in pasta dishes, which threw off the taste for me. The lasagna was disappointing as well; it tasted exactly like the soup, with the same sauce and carrot-heavy flavor. I've never had lasagna with such a strong carrot presence, and it completely overpowered the dish. I couldn't eat it, and it ended up being a $30 loss. My husband ordered the Osso Buco, which was a $70 dish. He said it was under-seasoned and overwhelmed by the taste of wine. He also had the split pea soup, which he described as "okay," but not impressive especially not for the price. Overall, the service was great, but the food simply did not live up to the hype or the cost. We left disappointed and wouldn't return. read more

Absolutely loved our dinner. The restaurant is a little loud, hard to hear. Yet everyone was having a good time. We began the night with drinks ... Amalfi Drop (lemon) and a Coconut Lime Martini. Both were excellent mixes. We upordered our starters to a Casear salad and Fagioli soup. The broth for the soup was rich and full. I would have enjoyed a little more pasta in the soup. The casear salad was quite large. I ordered the Costina Di Manzo. It is braised short ribs in a brandy demi glaze. Super tender, deep flavors, good portion. However, my love of truffles meant I could not pass up the truffle fondue gnocchi. Oh, it did not disappoint. The cheese sauce was smooth and cream with the right amount of truffle flavor. The gnocchi was pillow soft. My dinner mate ordered the Osso Buco covered in a marsala wine demi glaze. Thr veal was tender. The risotto was creamy and tasty. We completed the night with a tiramisu. While I enjoyed the dessert, it lacked anything that wow'd me like the rest of the dishes. The service was helpful and attentive! read more

Our first time here and it did not disappoint. First the service was amazing. We added 3 extra people to our reservation last minute and they accommodated with no issue. Our waiter was outstanding and could not have been nicer. We started with calamari and prosciutto and melon and it was so fresh and perfect. We did a kids chicken parm for the baby with French fries and he did not stop eating it. Just came here for dinner! Our reservation was at 5:30pm, we asked for a booth inside since it was so hot outside! Our drinks to start were so refreshing. I got the Palma & it had the perfect hint of citrus. My dad got the mule... said it wasn't the best he's ever had... later on I got the espresso martini and it was quite delicious. For the mains I ordered on the 4:30-6:30 menu which was 3 courses for $45, what a great deal! For the first I got the clams and mussels that were in a red sauce, very yummy. Then I got the striped bass in a white garlic sauce and it was my first time ever trying bass and let me tell you it will not be my last!!! Great first bass experience! Then the cannoli for dessert which came with the freshest berries! The girls said the bread and butter was smoothie and crunchy at the same time, they went in for seconds & thirds. The French fries were also great on their behalf. The atmosphere was elegant inside, the lights dinned around 6pm and become more romantic read more

This is my second visit to DaVinci's, the first being a year prior, both during the manufacturing leadership council awards and rethink event. I remember being exceptionally pleased with both the food and service last year, and hoping that it would live up to the high expectations I had for a client dinner this year. It did more than meat expectations, launching to the top of my Italian restaurant experiences. Our clients were exceptionally impressed, both saying it was the best Italian restaurant they had ever been to. The combination of authentic Italian flavors, incredible service, inching ambience makes it difficult to consider business meals anywhere else in Marco Island. We had for our party the Ravioli and Calamari Appetizers, Chicken parmesan and Bolognese all with a Caesar salad. The service was absolutely perfect and the water never touched the bottom of the glass. That's how you know haha. Very attentive of all our questions and needs.
