Tagliatelle with truffles This fish had amazing flavor and the texture of the pasta was outstanding!

Beautiful restaurant. Food is amazing. Homemade pasta is so delicious The short rib raviolis were so good and filling . We ate there twice while in Marco island for a few days . Best restaurant in the area. Waitstaff was great, friendly and knowledgeable!

Fantastic Italian experience at a well established eatery. Everything about our evening worked out well from the reservation, wait time (5 minutes), waitress, menu and specials for the day, drinks, and of course the food was delicious and well presented. We had Caesar salad with anchovies which was delicious. The veal DaVinci was excellent-tender, well portioned and tasty. My wife had the Zappa Di Pesce which was also delicious-tender, cooked perfectly and tasty. We were never rushed and our food was served in a timely manner. A word of caution-arrive a few minutes early to find parking if you're dining at a popular time!

We had dinner reservations at DaVinci's on Marco Island and arrived early for happy hour . The Floridian margarita, Manhattan, and espresso martini were all excellent. We shared polpette alla parmigiana (meatballs), ravioli alla vodka, and rollatini di melanzane (eggplant rollatini) -- every bite was delicious. When our table was ready, we decided to stay at the bar and order another ravioli alla vodka. Best choice! Since they knew we were celebrating my birthday, they surprised me with a beautiful "Happy Birthday" plate topped with profiterole and vanilla gelato . Our waiter Rafael, a wonderful young man from Spain, was beyond excellent -- friendly, professional, and made the night so special! Thank you Davinci we will be back on our next Marco Island visit! This is a favorite!

Quite good. We've been in the past and the food was still delicious. The restaurant gets loud also.

What an unbelievable dinner we had at Davinci's tonight! This is Friday night and it was buzzing here on the Plaza. The place was packed. We had a 7:15 reservation but had to wait an additional 10 minutes before we were able to be seated outside. Even outside the chatter was so loud, we couldn't hear each other talk. And even as tables finished and left, more parties sat down. However, I could understand why so many people had Davinci's on their restaurant priority list. First, we had great service. Brett was our waiter. He reviewed the menu with us and guided us to make the right choices. They were very careful to address our food allergy concerns. We were first presented with a warm bread basket and a sun-dried tomato Mediterranean dip which Larry couldn't get enough of. We ordered the fig, prosciutto and goat cheese appetizer which had amazing presentation and was a delightful choice. Paul had the lasagna entree. Even though it didn't come out hot enough for him, they took it back many times till it met with his satisfaction. Larry wanted veal Marsala which wasn't on the menu, but they had no issue with preparing that for him. He loved it and gobbled it up. Barbara and I both ordered the veal chop Milanese which totally shocked us because it was an overwhelmingly huge portion made to perfection. We never expected that. It also came with a side plate of various colored roasted peppers. All the entrees came with an initial salad as well. We came away with a huge shopping bag of leftovers and plastic silverware to enjoy by the pool tomorrow. This will be a nice treat. We couldn't order dessert after our meals. So this was our last meal on vacation and we ended on a high note. We hope to return here on a future trip next year.

A day later and I'm still talking about my dinner. I had the Costina Di Manzo and my daughter had the Pollo Parmigiana. We had the Polipo Arrosto for an appetizer. Everything was absolutely amazing! Staff was top notch. You must go for really good Italian cuisine.

Ambiance was very nice, food was very good and service was also good. Reservations would be good but there was room outside and they had heaters.

We brought in the New Year at DaVinci's! Our waiter for the night was Khan, and he was top tier! Since it was their New Year menu, the options were limited. So a lot of the dishes that were recommended were not available. We started our night with a bottle of white wine (dry) and the Carpaccio Di Manzo and Burratina E. Prosciutto . The appetizers were both flavorful. For the soups, I ordered the Bisque Di Aragosta (lobster bisque) which came out luke warm. I would give it a 2.0 because I have had better. My boyfriend had Pasta E. Fagioli, which he enjoyed. For the main entree, I had the Costina Di Manzo (short ribs) and he had the Ravioli Di Mare (lobster with scallops). We have definitely had better short ribs in the past. However their ribs were tender and tasty but warm. None of the meals came out hot. :( Towards the end of the night, they had a dj and moved a few of the tables and turned the space into a dance floor. I'm not sure if this happens every night or if it was just to bring in the New Year. Overall, maybe we would return to try their full menu, maybe not.

Great food and service. Wine was superb. All of the entrees were perfectly prepared. The singular cocktails were very good and enjoyable, perfect. We plan to come back soon.

This was our first time visiting Marco Island, and after reading several positive reviews, we decided to try DaVinci's Restaurant. I'm a big fan of Italian food, so I had high hopes for this place. The service was definitely the highlight of our visit our waiter was very attentive and worked hard to ensure we had everything we needed. Unfortunately, the food didn't meet our expectations. I ordered the Lasagna and Pasta Fagioli soup. The soup was just okay the flavor was average, and I personally don't like carrots in pasta dishes, which threw off the taste for me. The lasagna was disappointing as well; it tasted exactly like the soup, with the same sauce and carrot-heavy flavor. I've never had lasagna with such a strong carrot presence, and it completely overpowered the dish. I couldn't eat it, and it ended up being a $30 loss. My husband ordered the Osso Buco, which was a $70 dish. He said it was under-seasoned and overwhelmed by the taste of wine. He also had the split pea soup, which he described as "okay," but not impressive especially not for the price. Overall, the service was great, but the food simply did not live up to the hype or the cost. We left disappointed and wouldn't return.

I called this the 12 layer cake.

The place is absolutely spectacular. This will be the third year that I've eaten there and I cannot tell you anything that I thought was even remotely not worth ordering 12 more times.

Absolutely loved our dinner. The restaurant is a little loud, hard to hear. Yet everyone was having a good time. We began the night with drinks ... Amalfi Drop (lemon) and a Coconut Lime Martini. Both were excellent mixes. We upordered our starters to a Casear salad and Fagioli soup. The broth for the soup was rich and full. I would have enjoyed a little more pasta in the soup. The casear salad was quite large. I ordered the Costina Di Manzo. It is braised short ribs in a brandy demi glaze. Super tender, deep flavors, good portion. However, my love of truffles meant I could not pass up the truffle fondue gnocchi. Oh, it did not disappoint. The cheese sauce was smooth and cream with the right amount of truffle flavor. The gnocchi was pillow soft. My dinner mate ordered the Osso Buco covered in a marsala wine demi glaze. Thr veal was tender. The risotto was creamy and tasty. We completed the night with a tiramisu. While I enjoyed the dessert, it lacked anything that wow'd me like the rest of the dishes. The service was helpful and attentive!

After my experience on Thursday, February 12th, that's over. At 6:05 PM, I placed a small online order (mozzarella sticks, a calzone, and a sandwich) through their website, as I always do. Estimated pickup: 29 to 34 minutes. I arrived at 6:41 with my wife and kids in the car. Food wasn't ready, but "five more minutes." Fine. Five turned into twenty. Twenty turned into forty. During that time, I watched the staff take phone orders and quote every customer "20 to 25 minutes," no matter the order size. When I asked what the holdup was, the staff, who were genuinely doing their best, explained that new kitchen staff were struggling. My son was starving, so I left to grab him food elsewhere and came back about 30 minutes later, confident my order would be waiting. It wasn't. At 7:35 PM, ninety minutes after placing a three-item order, nothing was ready. I asked the staff why they were still quoting 20-minute turnarounds when the reality was 90+ minutes. I suggested they pause online ordering to let the kitchen recover. They told me the owner, Jared Grifoni, has instructed them to keep online orders on and to continue telling customers 20 minutes, despite knowing the kitchen is nowhere close to meeting that timeline. That's not a bad night. That's a policy decision to mislead customers for the sake of revenue. I requested a refund. As it was being processed, two of my three items finally came out. When the staff asked the kitchen about the last item, the answer was: "I have no idea when we'll get to that." I left at 7:46 PM, one hour and forty-one minutes after ordering. To be clear: the staff on the floor that night are not to blame. They were put in a no-win situation and handled it as well as anyone could. The issue is ownership making a conscious choice to overload the kitchen, deceive customers about wait times, and let the staff absorb the fallout. When I arrived, the restaurant was nearly full. When I left, it was almost empty. I won't be adding myself to either count again.

Con: serious case of "Tip Sag"where the toppings slide off the crust forcing you to take your fork and stab pieces of cheese and scoop sauce. Napkin time. You have to "drag" it off the metal pan to prevent a full topping avalanche. The fresh mozzarella squares were a little tough and may either be old or low quality. Wish we ordered another one as it wasn't enough for us (4 people). As this was a take out order, there was a big issue. The app gave options to add for an order. I ordered a spaghetti marina and thought I "added" garlic and oil. But when we received the order, it was just pasta, garlic and oil. Wtf?! Why the heck would anyone order a spaghetti and only want garlic and oil? The option was NOT clear. I thought it was in ADDITION to. So for $20 I got pasta and garlic and oil. No marinara. It's NOT spaghetti! This was a take out order so the experience might not be the same if you eat at the restaurant. UPDATE: The owner, Sami, called me the next day to apologize for the mixup and offered to replacement. Within 30 min I received a still hot spaghetti the way it's supposed to be. When the table became available, another couple was seated there instead. I overheard an interaction between employees implying they intentionally chose not to move us because we were already sitting at the bar. In other words, the table we were told was ours was knowingly given away. What made the situation worse was the lack of communication afterward. No one updated us or acknowledged what had happened until I finally asked about the table. At first, I was told the previous guests were taking longer than expected, which was not true. After I questioned that explanation, staff admitted the table had likely been reassigned by management. My biggest issues were the lack of communication, being misled about the situation and the complete lack of apology or acknowledgment from the manager, who was visibly checking on other tables while avoiding ours. The rest of the seafood was mostly clams and mussels. I substituted angel hair instead of linguine which helped keep the dish lighter. The chicken Madeira looked great but the flavor was mild. With a stronger sauce or seasoning it could easily be an excellent dish. The kids meals were a win. The chicken tenders and pasta kept them happy and the portions were solid. Overall experience was good mainly because of the service and presentation. Some dishes need stronger flavor and the seafood portions could match the price better. Still a pleasant dinner spot on Marco Island.

Was bustling, we sat inside n there was live music. Enjoyed it . Had the she crab soup Mediterranean salad n scorpion roll for starters. Soup was really good n flavorful. Our son enjoyed the scorpion roll. The salad was good too. The rolls n corn bread were good w a tasty spread that had an orange flavor. Different but good. For entrees we had the scallops w black pasta, surf n turf slash/ flash burn snapper and the filet mignon. The red snapper was out of this world. One of the best we've had. The scallops were v tasty too. The surf n turf good too n so was the filet mignon v juicy. Generous portions. We topped it off w key lime pie n caramel n sea salt s'more.. Heavenly. The smore was one of a kind. Sorry forgot to take photo of slash/ flash red snapper. Tx u for a delicious meal .

Never a bad experience at The Oyster Society!…read more We were back in the wine room, so the vibe was intimate and quiet, which was perfect for our group. Obviously, got a lot of oysters. Our usuals are the Pink Moons but we also tried some local oysters and they were delicious! I got the seared scallops with the black spaghetti and it was great. Always love their seafood! Overall I think everyone loved the food - a friend got the lamb shank and said it was amazing. The only thing that could have been improved was the surf n turf special. The steak (which I think was a strip) was reported to be lacking in flavor... Pro tip - don't skip on the free bread/cornbread and butter! It's the perfect carb start to any meal!!
