We stopped in at Joeys on the last night of our vacation because we were craving pizza and some Italian food. The restaurant was 5 mins from the hotel and didnt have a huge wait so we were able to sit right down and get an order in. Service was solid, spot was casual but with an upscale vibe. We started with the garlic rolls and a side salad (that came with the pasta) and both were very good. Garlic rolls were fresh and full of flavor without being too oily. Food wise, we ordered cheese ravioli and the gnocchi with grilled chicken, both in vodka sauce. We also ordered a large cheese pie, Joeys way, without the sausage. The ravioli and gnocchi came out HOT! You can tell these were freshly made and cooked to order and they were devoured quickly. The pizza to me, was the star of the show. It reminded me of tavern style chicago thin crust pizza. Paper thin, cut into squares and the perfect balance of sauce and cheese. Between me and my son, we ate the whole pizza! If we end up back in Marco island, Joeys will definitely be on the list to return to! read more

Joey's Pizza in Berkshire Place on Radio Road is the absolute best pizza in Naples. They have real NY style pizza. Many pizza restaurants will say they offer NY style pizza only to be so disappointed when it arrives at my house. Although they don't deliver, you can get Door Dash or some other delivery service unless you want to eat in or pick it up yourself. I personally don't like Door Dash because they leave the delivery outside on the ground where fire ants and other creatures can get into your food. No ringing of the doorbell, no knock on the door. They literally just leavevit outside. Guess that's why their name has Dash in it! You'll never know when your food has arrived. The Chef at Joey's has many years of experience and he makes an incredible crust, delicious sauce; he will not disappoint you. They have different sizes, we get the large for two people because that is how delicious this pizza is. They also offer Italian dinners. The garlic rolls and canolis are mouth watering. Everything we ordered was awesome. We had 2 pizzas. One combo with pepperoni, sausage, onions and peppers. The other one was margarita pizza with a few additions of pineapple and ham. My mom had the chicken masala with lots of mushrooms a pasta side. That entree came with a house salad and garlic knot. Hubby and I ordered an antipasto which came with 2 garlic knots and we unknowingly order 6 garlic knots which were awesome and one of the things that disappeared quickly. If going here you can definitely share almost all the food because they are large portions. Oh my son has the manhattan clam chowder in a cup and that would have been a bowl in most places. We went to Joey's Pizza to celebrate my sister's birthday, and they went above and beyond to make the night feel special. They brought out the dessert of her choice and even used the birthday candles we brought to make it a sweet surprise. It was such a thoughtful touch! One of my favorite parts of the meal was that every dish came with a buttery garlic knot. They seriously could be addictive. I ordered the Pasta alla Vodka, and it was creamy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The others in our group had the Burrata Salad, Caesar Salad, and Penne with Alfredo Sauce which were all delicious. The pastas also came with a side salad, and we tried both the Creamy Italian and Ranch dressings and both were great! The service was warm and welcoming, the food hit the spot, and the birthday celebration felt extra meaningful thanks to the staff. Definitely recommend Joey's if you're in Marco Island. Cute place very full as went early New Year's Eve. They accommodated us with our pup and we sat outside. They brought him water and we super sweet. We order knots, 2 thin crust pizzas and lasagna. All tasty the pizza I will ask for well done next time but that's just a personal preference. The lasagna has lots of meat but could have used more sauce with it. We had a great experience there. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. I was new to being on a gluten-free diet and had trepidation about eating there, but was put at ease by our waiter who let us know they had gluten-free pizza crust. He did say that it was a personal pizza and encouraged my husband to order his own mail because it was a personalized pizza. But I will say that personalized pizza could've fed three people. He described it as an 8 inch pizza and it was a large oval pizza that took up an entire plate and we came home with lots of leftovers.. that being said, the crust was amazing for a gluten-free free pizza. It was a cool summer night and our large group of 13 was promptly seated out side under the bistro lights hanging on Joey's large terrace. The group was happy we were seated quickly and Mother Nature was gifting us with a slight breeze. Our waitress seemed pretty busy and thus the attention was lacking somewhat. Especially when other large groups were seated at on the terrace as well and they had their drinks, apps, entrees, and their bills way before us. It was a mini vacay for us and we're not the type to complain but our waitress service was slow. The food was good over all, I had the Gnocci with Chicken and it was delish. Many pizzas were ordered at our table, even the huge Sicilian, it was looks impressive, but it mostly just bread, not worth it unless you really want to eat a ton of bread. Their other pizzas looked amazing. Don't leave without getting a cannoli, you'll thank me later. Sorting out the check was also disappointing. We had ordered 2 of a certain app and only received one. No biggie as we had plenty of other apps. We asked the server that brought us our apps and they didn't do anything about it. They we asked our waitress if she had put 2 or 1 and she replied "one". Then when we finally got the bill, she had definitely put in 2 as we were charged for two. We had to find her in the restaurant to get her to fix the bill and she was not very cordial about it. We ordered in takeout - chicken parm, chicken caruso and chicken limone (GF). The food was really good, but more importantly Tracey (Manager...I'm pretty sure that's her name!) went above and beyond with her customer service. The entrees were supposed to come with garlic knots and salads, but I noticed when I returned home that they didn't. I called and went back to retrieve them, but then noticed one of the entrees didn't include the premium pasta I paid extra for. I called and Tracey not only offered to make the pasta for me, but then credited me back for the entire meal - a true act of kindness and seasoned hospitality. First time at Joey's (December 2024) and we ordered a large combo and large white pizza with spinach for pick up. Total was about $60 which blew us away. The most we've ever paid for a pizza so we're expecting top tier pie. It smelled delicious. We get home (6 minute drive) and after trying the pizza, we realize instead of a combo we were given a sausage pizza with no sauce. (We did get the correct white pizza). Called to advise it was the wrong order and they offered to refund or come back to get the right pizza. (We opted for a refund) The pizza itself was so thin it was like they ran out of dough and were trying to make more pizzas than they could handle. The cheese was dry (on the sausage pizza). The crust was so hard/crispy, it was like you reheat old pizza 3 times and it's too hard to chew. (I LOVE a crispy pizza but not hard.) I typically prefer personal pan pizza or like a standard crust you'd get from papa John's. Nobody in my party liked thin crust so maybe that's why we didn't love it? read more

We were excited to try Joey's as many rave about the pizza and say it is the best on Marco Island. Perhaps I have a high bar for pizza, and while it was good, I can't say it was great. We tried the "NY Style", and I will say the sauce and cheese were good, but unfortunately the crust was somewhat flavorless and too airy to be considered a NY style pizza. For me, all three elements need to come together for a truly great pizza. Apart from the pizza, our server was efficient and friendly and food came quickly. We sat outside on a nice patio as the inside was jammed. No reservations here and it is a popular spot. We also tried their ricotta and honey appetizer, which was nice. Perhaps could have been a tad bigger, for the price. Overall, an enjoyable dinner but I've had better pizza on Marco Island. Arrived at Joey's and god seated right away. Our waitress Selena was good, but the food not so much. My wife ordered the Caprese salad, and eggplant parm sub. The salad was not traditional. It was chopped Romaine two slices of tomato, mozzarella and red onion smothered in way too much dressing and the eggplant was literally burnt to a crisp and not edible. I had ziti and sausage. The pasta and sauce were fine, but the two sausages were also burnt and the presentation horrible. The casing was almost black. Thank God the Peroni I ordered was cold. I know this place is a local staple, but they should really take a good look at the food they are presenting to the customer. We ordered takeout last night and there were sadly some issues. The Philly cheese steaks tasted extremely gross. The meat tasted spoiled. The chicken sandwich we ordered didn't have any of the toppings on it that we ordered, it was just bread and grilled chicken. The tortellini was delicious, though. I called to inform them of the problems and they were very kind. However, I was told she would speak with the manager and call me back but I never heard back. Joey's Pizza was a great place to eat after a long day at the beach. It has the style of a small family owned pizza restaurant so it has a nice and cozy atmosphere. We were seated immediately on arrival, so that's always a good thing! We ordered the garlic bread with cheese and the Sicilian (2" of dough!!) with five meat topping. The food came out very quickly and was absolutely delicious. Even though it was a small size, the pizza was extremely filling. Even between my wife and I, we couldn't get to half the pizza. The garlic bread was super crispy and cheesy as well. We finished off with the chocolate cannoli and the pistachio affogato. Both desserts were delicious as well with a great portion size. After years of visiting and now living on Marco, I finally got to Joey's Pizza. What held me back? The fact that it always looks so busy and crowded, with lines out the door and no parking spaces. But I met a friend for a drink and some dinner, in season, and boy did I luck out. We just beat the dinner crowded by arriving at 5pm, and I even got a parking spot and didn't have to park in the back alley or down the street. The space is so nice, and clearly they are used to serving large parties as a number of the tables are quite large for groups of 8+. We had a table just past the large bar inside. Outside tables are in high demand (sitting on the highly trafficked Collier Blvd is not very exciting...still, nice weather means you want to be outside). Service was pretty good, and we quickly got drinks while we looked over the massive menu. The whole restaurant smelled SO good! I tried the Meatball Sliders on Garlic Knots which I'd been dying to try since I'd seen them in the Marco Eagle restaurant review. I was very impressed with the food and can't wait to go back...but in off season. :) read more
