The ambiance here is so beautiful, just the best of inside and outside seating. Definitely fine dinning, great Spanish decor, wine cellar style at the front, great outside seating to watch the sunset and enjoy the outdoors. The food was delicious I enjoyed my soup and Branzino. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable.

An excellent view from our table, enjoying friends, food and great wine

From the moment we were welcomed in we felt like we've been there before. Our server (Ionut) did a great job giving us details about the best dishes. The sommelier took good care of us serving the wine. When we sat down the sky was cloudy and didn't look we will see the sunset. We were pleased when for a short time the sun gave us such view. Did I mention that food was excellent? We'll be back!

Best restaurant experience we had on the island. Very upscale Italian punctuated with fresh homemade pasta that melts in your mouth. Ambiance is a nice outdoor patio overlooking the gulf. Got there as the sun was setting and made for a gorgeous setting. Our server Eric was outstanding, professional and great with menu help. Cocktails were good. Most awesome assortment of breads were delivered and enjoyed. To start we got a Caesar salad and Cacia e pepi which was ravioli with a peppery ricotta filling and shavings of prosciutto that was cooked somehow to make it crunchy. This was an amazing dish that had me wishing I had gotten it as my entree. All the fresh pasta entrees can be ordered as a side dish as well. For entree I got the flounder and my wife got the bolognese which was great.

Zucca e Noci

I'm from Argentina and very picky with Italian food. Is not easy for me to find a good pasta, and I've never visit Italy yet. I've tried this agnolotti (filled with butternut squash) , I'm vegetarian (yes I know! Argentinian and vegetarian! (Weird and unusual combination). This filled pasta was literally delicious! I ate everything! I loved the truffle mushroom butter also. And the ring bread and thin crusty bread. Gosh so good! I'll come back the next year! We live in Dana Point, CA The service was excellent Appetizers. Burrata and mushrooms. And the sunset and ambient at the big balcony facing the ocean. Love Sale and Pepe

This restaurant was beautiful!! It was right over the water and was decorated just beautiful. The food was good as well, I personally got the butternut squash pasta, which was a very small portion, but still filling as it is served with complementary breads. The pasta had almost a smoky flavor, and was somewhat sweet, very delicious! The pistachio gelato was also delicious, but it did have more of a green tea flavor. Our waiter was very kind and provided a very personal experience! Overall I would recommend for a nice, authentic, italian restaurant.

What a dining treasure on Marco Island! I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday here with a delicious dinner with a beautiful view. The food and cocktails were delicious. Everything was extremely fresh and our server's recommendations were spot on. The service was exceptional! Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and also hilarious! Seriously should consider a career as a stand up comedian. Thank you for making my birthday extra special and memorable. If you are seated on the outdoor terrace then you will enjoy a breathtaking sunset while dining. Once the sun goes down and it gets a little cooler they provide blankets and turn on heaters for your comfort so not to worry, no need to bring a sweater.

From the moment we walked in the door we were treated like royalty. The interior of this restaurant is beautiful! The host, and assistant server were prompt in getting us situated and the server was a native of Italy. We had the oysters, burrata, gnocchi, and veal. The burrata was perfectly creamy and was served over seasoned bread chunks with some funky diced veggies. The combination was great. The gnocchi was made in house and sauce tasted like it was made 5 minutes before it was used! This was by far one of the best Italian meals I have ever enjoyed.

Ippoglosso

This is a very nice restaurant. It provides a premium experience. Be prepared to spend at least $50 per person. It's expensive but the food is good and the service is top notch. My wife and I both got the Ippoglosso (halibut). It's $52 so I was kind of expecting a little larger portion for that price. It comes with a parsley sauce and it's definitely parsley. Haha. If you don't like parsley, you better order something else. I also ordered a bowl of soup, Vellutata ($16) and my wife ordered mushrooms, Funghi ($12). It's roaster squash soup and it was really good. The halibut also comes with roasted squash. It was good but as you can see in the photo, there's just not much of it. There's a little ring of it under the Halibut. Lastly, got to try an order of Cioccolato e Baileys ($13). The chocolate was very good. Highly recommend. If you like chocolate, you will love this desert. Overall great experience with a great view. They ring a bell at sunset. My fish wasn't over the top outstanding. Portion size and maybe just a slight overcooked is why I'm only giving it 4 stars. Still good place to eat if you're looking for fine dining.

What an incredible experience at this beautiful restaurant! We were able to dine during sunset and what a VIEW! The food was incredible and the service was above and beyond. We will absolutely be back!

After my experience on Thursday, February 12th, that's over. At 6:05 PM, I placed a small online order (mozzarella sticks, a calzone, and a sandwich) through their website, as I always do. Estimated pickup: 29 to 34 minutes. I arrived at 6:41 with my wife and kids in the car. Food wasn't ready, but "five more minutes." Fine. Five turned into twenty. Twenty turned into forty. During that time, I watched the staff take phone orders and quote every customer "20 to 25 minutes," no matter the order size. When I asked what the holdup was, the staff, who were genuinely doing their best, explained that new kitchen staff were struggling. My son was starving, so I left to grab him food elsewhere and came back about 30 minutes later, confident my order would be waiting. It wasn't. At 7:35 PM, ninety minutes after placing a three-item order, nothing was ready. I asked the staff why they were still quoting 20-minute turnarounds when the reality was 90+ minutes. I suggested they pause online ordering to let the kitchen recover. They told me the owner, Jared Grifoni, has instructed them to keep online orders on and to continue telling customers 20 minutes, despite knowing the kitchen is nowhere close to meeting that timeline. That's not a bad night. That's a policy decision to mislead customers for the sake of revenue. I requested a refund. As it was being processed, two of my three items finally came out. When the staff asked the kitchen about the last item, the answer was: "I have no idea when we'll get to that." I left at 7:46 PM, one hour and forty-one minutes after ordering. To be clear: the staff on the floor that night are not to blame. They were put in a no-win situation and handled it as well as anyone could. The issue is ownership making a conscious choice to overload the kitchen, deceive customers about wait times, and let the staff absorb the fallout. When I arrived, the restaurant was nearly full. When I left, it was almost empty. I won't be adding myself to either count again.

As this was a take out order, there was a big issue. The app gave options to add for an order. I ordered a spaghetti marina and thought I "added" garlic and oil. But when we received the order, it was just pasta, garlic and oil. Wtf?! Why the heck would anyone order a spaghetti and only want garlic and oil? The option was NOT clear. I thought it was in ADDITION to. So for $20 I got pasta and garlic and oil. No marinara. It's NOT spaghetti! This was a take out order so the experience might not be the same if you eat at the restaurant. UPDATE: The owner, Sami, called me the next day to apologize for the mixup and offered to replacement. Within 30 min I received a still hot spaghetti the way it's supposed to be. Not only that, he added some dessert. As a business person myself, I understand mistakes happen. But when the issue is rectified, it's a testament to the values of the restaurant. The spaghetti was delicious! Not only the food is delicious, but awesome customer service. I can imagine how good the service would be if we ate at the restaurant. Highly recommend. (Went from 1-star to 5-star - the owner never asked me to change my rating)

The host even pointed out the specific table and suggested we sit at the bar while we waited. My husband dislikes sitting at the bar, so we would not have agreed to that arrangement if we knew we would be there for the entire meal. There was also outdoor seating available right away, which we would have preferred over the bar had we been given accurate information. When the table became available, another couple was seated there instead. I overheard an interaction between employees implying they intentionally chose not to move us because we were already sitting at the bar. In other words, the table we were told was ours was knowingly given away. What made the situation worse was the lack of communication afterward. No one updated us or acknowledged what had happened until I finally asked about the table. At first, I was told the previous guests were taking longer than expected, which was not true. After I questioned that explanation, staff admitted the table had likely been reassigned by management. My biggest issues were the lack of communication, being misled about the situation and the complete lack of apology or acknowledgment from the manager, who was visibly checking on other tables while avoiding ours. Mistakes happen, but honesty and communication go a long way. Neither was handled well here. Otherwise, the food was delicious, but unfortunately it was hard to enjoy with our poor experience.

It was also quiet and they had some Frank Sinatra playing, which added a bit to the ambiance. Our server, Jacob, was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. We found out he is the owner's son and has worked almost all positions at the restaurant! He was helpful with suggestions and very polite. We started with an order of the calamari which was perfectly tender and seasoned well. For my entree, I got the grouper, island style: "Sautéed with lemon butter sauce & capers topped with blue crab with mashed potatoes & fresh vegetables." The fish was perfectly cooked and I loved the flavors. It's a delicate fish but it was seasoned well. My entree came with a side salad, which was fresh and dressed nicely. The portions were large, and I thought prices were reasonable and in line with the area. The salmon carpaccio looked nice and tasted as expected, but the flavor was fairly simple. The frutti de mar had good flavor and the seafood was cooked properly. The sauce worked well and did not overpower the dish. The portion was disappointing for the price. The dish cost $52 dollars and only included three scallops and three shrimp. The rest of the seafood was mostly clams and mussels. I substituted angel hair instead of linguine which helped keep the dish lighter. The chicken Madeira looked great but the flavor was mild. With a stronger sauce or seasoning it could easily be an excellent dish. The kids meals were a win. The chicken tenders and pasta kept them happy and the portions were solid. Overall experience was good mainly because of the service and presentation. Some dishes need stronger flavor and the seafood portions could match the price better.
