Please put up a sign to let your customers know what time you stop serving mix-ins. I was disappointed to find out about this policy when I went to order, and when I reached out afterward, I didn't receive a response. Customers shouldn't have to find out about important service limitations at the counter. A simple sign with the cutoff time would make this much clearer and prevent situations like this in the future. read more

Worst Ice-cream on the island. Had to pitch it out. Lacked the sold stone selection I am used to Enough said read more

Unfriendly employees. Do not have all ingredients advertised. Would not recommend... there are other ice cream shops nearby.

I stopped in here randomly on a trip to Marco Island. I needed to fix my hankering for something sweet. Why not Cold Stone? I walked in- no one was there. Not even an employee. Weird. But I waited. I waited a bit more and then finally someone came out to wait on me. Now, this kid had to be no more than 16. I'm giving him credit because honestly he looked 12. But what I will say is this kid busted his butt in making sure we got what we wanted. He was very nice; constantly thanking us and saying, "you're welcome". In an overall drab location, he definitely was a highlight. While there may be some child labor law issues going on here, I definitely would go back solely to have this kid wait on me. Keep it up yougin'. read more

Cold Stone Creamery - Hot for Cookie - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Marco Island, Florida

This place was over crowded and lines out the door. 2-3 workers. We stood in line for over 30 min OUTSIDE. The line never moved. They were serving the online orders only. The servers were beyond rude when Ppl asked what's the wait and why no one was helping the customers in line and the kid with EARBUDS in his ears gave an attitude and told him he had to wait. Many ppl left the store without purchasing anything. Also not one person working was wearing a hair net. Maybe that's not common but come on. The behind the counter and the staff just looked like a mess read more

I've been a regular since I've gotten here and they have been so great to me most of them remember me because I go so frequently but other than that they're very friendly and give me exactly what I want, sometimes can be busy but they power through all the rushes in a busy day!! The flavors are so good too person favorite is the cake batter! Try it if you ever go you won't be disappointed!! Will be there many times till I leave to go home they're an all time fav ice cream shoppe on the island for sure!! read more

My boyfriend and I love going to cold stone! We usually order the cake batter batter in a love it size to share. I don't think I've ever had a bad cold stone experience, and would always recommend. read more

Cold Stone Creamery - a sign for signature creations - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Marco Island, Florida

This was our second time at this location. Awful both times. Lines out the door. Which is to be expected at this location. However there was 3 people working and one was just standing around not doing a thing nor helping customers. When asked by another employee to help, he laughed. Continued to stand there and stare at the customers. After waiting at the checkout for 10 minutes with our 4 large cups. We walked out. Never again. Free ice cream that night thanks to this dude. read more

Cold Stone Creamery - The employee not doing a thing to help - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Marco Island, Florida

I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF THAT WAS POSSIBLE. They refused to accommodate my severe allergy. After making my ice cream without taking proper precautions to avoid contact with my allergies, they proceeded to tell me I would need to pay to have my ice cream re-made. read more

Don't bother trying to call bc they never answer their phone no matter what time u call. Their hours online are also a lie. It says they're open until 11 pm on Friday and we showed up at 10 and they were already closed. Someone was in the back when we knocked and they saw us and didn't say anything they just ignored and pretended they didn't hear us read more

Good location, under staffed for summer - wasn't crazy about the flavor choices - place needs an upgrade

Seems like the only question they ask when they hire someone here is "do you hate people?" And if the answer is yes they're hired. I went here two years ago and was distraught by the horrible customer service I saw. As I returned last night, I found that nothing had changed. The teen girl who served us could not have been anymore miserable. Very disappointed and this place needs a change. read more

Terrible service- 2 pm in afternoon and they got 4 of 4 items wrong. All items were right off the basic menu Super slow service. Service person had ear buds in , would not take them out to hear the orders. 100% CLUELESS read more

Great ice cream. Service was trying very hard to get ice cream out as quickly as possible. Very small shop and a lot of people were in there. Still was a great place to go! read more

Cold Stone Creamery epitomizes all that is great about the USA: excess, choice, freedom with a whole dose of fun. Not this franchise in Marco Island. We were served by an incredibly surely teenager and our choices were met with a combination of derision and why bother: my wife had two scoops (one of two different types) and I had two scoops of chocolate. The picture is of "two"scoops. With most other CSCs two scoops would be a small mount Etna with ice cream dripping down the sides. Don't waste your money here. There are better choices on the island. read more

Cold Stone Creamery - "Two" scoops. And, no, nothing had been eaten at this point. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Marco Island, Florida

My family usually loves Cold stone but we were very disappointed by this location. We arrived at 9:47 (13 minutes prior to closing) and the two teenagers working inside had already locked up. We knocked on the door and they proceeded to close everything up without even acknowledging us. We stood at the door for a minute while the kids inside just laughed and chose to pretend they didn't see us. Would definitely recommend Beebe's or Sweet Annies if staying on the island. read more

I've gone the past couple of nights, my family is staying in town for vacation. I have to say, the customer service is awful. The employees are rude, often don't make the order right, and are just wanting to close for the night 20 minutes early. read more

I love cold stone. The prices are high but you can never complain about the ice cream. During the peak season, this place is mobbed. But in the summer, there is usually no wait. We walked in and there was no one at the counter. We coughed and it took another minute for a worker to emerge from the back. Like always, the ice cream was delicious, I just wish it wasn't so hot on Marco so it didn't melt so fast! read more

Cold Stone Creamery - Cookie doughnt you want some - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Marco Island, Florida

If I could give this place -5 stars, I would. My family lives in Naples and whenever I visit we make a stop here. Never again! Tonight when we stopped in, there was a line out the door, 4+ employees on staff but only 1 actually working. By the time they got to us, we asked for a gallon of ice cream and the gal that was dragging her feet her whole shift decided to make our quart and fill it half way. $15 for a quart and it was half full, not to mention it took 30 minutes+. The employees were sitting in the back room, laughing, talking about how much they make hourly and swearing. Terrible read more

Very busy, understaffed but friendly! Ice cream was great. Staff was overwhelmed with the after dinner crowd.

The cold stone creamery at Marco Island location was very delicious! The only thing they need is a couple more flavor options and maybe some more cone options. I think the customer service was great, but they do need a couple more staff members. Overall, cold stone is great! 90% recommend. read more

It was very good! I wish it wasn't so expensive though! It's definitely good! The birthday cake remix is bomb

The worst cold stone ever! Just skip this one!!! Ordered Peanut Butter Perfection...it was basically just chocolate ice cream, me and my husband were digging around looking for peanut butter or fudge or a Reese's cup! I did not watch her make, except I saw her put in about 1/4 teaspoon of peanut butter. For $7.50 for a small, keep it! Royal Scoop a zillion times better! read more

We had to wait in an insanely long line where the people working were not only understaffed but completely confused as to what was going on. I asked a couple of questions that the employees couldn't answer, and it seemed like it was their first day working. I also order the "Hot Cookie" that was nothing like the picture displayed, and the cookie was barely cooked at the bottom. I believe the ice cream was sub par and not worth the wait.. read more

It was god awful. Normally I love cold stone but this place was terrible. The line took about 30 mins even though we only had like 5 people in front of us. And once I got my ice cream it was more like soup then ice cream. It was so melted. read more

Not happy here. Stopped in after a dinner because we wanted a good ice cream and were were greeted by a kid who was quite miserable. I've been to plenty of cold stones and this is by far just an anomaly as it was bad. The portion was small, the mixings were minimal and the cardinal sin of receiving ice cream was it was slightly melted and not hard.... The kid was a punk serving us and could not care less that we were paying customers, instead playing on his phone and being rude... McDonalds isn't far, and for an ice cream, why not go and get the dollar cone instead of this place. Just disappointing, this place, not necessarily cold stone but here. read more

Overpriced half-melted ice cream. I would pay $6 for ice cream if it wasn't melted half way by the time you walk to a table outside. Sure, it's cool that you can mix in different toppings and whatnot, but for the price, meh. The Esplanade (where its located) is a nice area on the water so thats a bonus. There is a Starbucks right next to it, which I generally choose to go to over Cold Stone. If you want quality, homemade ice cream, I would not recommend this place. read more

Really. It's ice cream and you can put whatever you want in it. How can you go wrong! There were enough people working that the line went fast. Only one table inside but more seating outside. Always a great stop. read more

Cold Stone Creamery - All living No oven - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Marco Island, Florida

Well, from reading the other reviews, it seems this location has had the same issues for quite a while. The employees look like they absolutely hate their lives. I felt like it was an inconvenience to place my order. After she scooped and half-assed mixed it with the mix ins, she asked if that was all. It took forever to pay! She looked dumbfounded when we said yes. Like the others said, the ice-cream was already melted when I got it. More like soup. read more

I was about to take my family into this ice cream place when a large palm rat ran by the door at 8:40 PM. The rat wasn't afraid of us, so it's likely it has been in this area for a long time! I would avoid this place until they get rid of the rats. read more

We just went to the location in Marco Island. There was nobody in the shop, so we can't blame the inadequacy on being overwhelmed. We ordered the cookie mintster. As we began to eat it, we noticed that nothing was mixed in( as this is the signature appeal, it was disappointing) and it was the wrong ice cream all together. I went back to tell them and ask them to remake it and make sure that the ingredients were mixed. The girl that made the ice cream said ," no, I didn't make it wrong, with a bit of a nasty tone. When I read the ingredients, her response was, "oh". Someone else made it, much smaller and again nothing was mixed in. Where is the management? read more

The wait was very long. For good reason though, the ice cream was amazing. Best in Marco Island. It's also in a great location where you can just walk around and enjoy. The staff seemed very talented and experienced. Would recommend. read more

Great service! They are very friendly and follow COVID protocols despite rude customers complaining about them.

I can see why this Coldstone has poor reviews. When I got there the door was locked at 1215 pm. I ordered a cake and it was wrong. I reported it to the owner (who at first said the owner was not there) and she argued with me about the cake. I asked if she had notes on my order? No- they threw them out. She yelled at me and insulted me. Owner was out of control and has no customer service skills at all. None. Plus she lied when she said owner wasn't there and it turned she then said she was owner! Blaming your mistake or error on the customer does not solve anything. It makes things worse. Nothing was resolved and I am pending corporate call back regarding this. Again- I see why ratings are so poor for this business! Go to Annies around the corner!!!! read more

Sorry you missed us! We waited for you! Luckily Sweet Anne's opened on time today and accommodated all of us!

Don't go here unless you're a mindless sheep who likes to wear a mask for no reason. When our family of 7 showed up at 5pm on a weekday night, the three rude teens working the counter quickly threw on their masks, then proceeded to refuse us service because we didn't have masks. Go to Sweet Annie's right around the corner - great ice cream, reasonable prices and super friendly staff. read more
