Great restaurant and dinner service from Christina, she's a fantastic server. We didn't know he was the owner at first, but Tim was attentive to us and every table there throughout the evening. If you like different flavors, this is the place. It is very unique. My first course a Caesar salad had some brown romaine, so I returned it though it had great flavors, but wasn't wanting to wait for a new fresh one to be made, so they took it off the bill and insisted on an immediate complimentary beet salad replacement which I took them up on. The beets and cheese part was awesome. I didn't mention it to them, but I used to be an executive chef of high end white table cloth restaurants years ago all over the SE including New Orleans, Atlanta, Tampa, so I was very impressed with their wanting to make us all extremely happy and make up for the salad mistake. The flavors in the Tuna Tare Tare, Shrimp Ceviche was incredible, and my Lamb Shank had some of the best spices I have ever tasted in a shank. Then the owner insisted on a comp baklava dessert for our mother's birthday and it was a very unique original flambe' presentation. Most of the places I was a chef at, the servers had to do old school tableside caesar with the egg yolk, dinner like Steak Diane, dessert and flambe' drinks and I realized how rare that this is these days. Many restaurants could learn from Amber Cove, as they turned a somewhat little disappointing salad start to a great evening with class. read more

We celebrated our anniversary here while visiting Naples. The food was absolutely exceptionally delicious. Every bite was flavorful and presented beautifully. Tim, the owner, chatted with us which was nice. We dined on a Monday during off season so had the place to ourselves. Would I recommend this place? A thousand times yes! The food is amazing - the chef is outstanding, trained in Switzerland and from Jordan - the spices and flavors that he creates with the food is something everyone should experience. We went here on a whim - the menu looked amazing- but we had no clue what deliciousness and fantastic service we were going to experience. Strongly recommend you give this place a try. You will be more than pleased to with the service, the atmosphere and blown away with the quality of the food - especially desert! I'm sad that I can only give this 5 stars. With so many of the same food choices around town, it was really refreshing to come across Amber Cove and their unique take on a menu. Dishes are so creative and beautiful, but it's the layers of flavor that really shine in this up-scale setting. The chef is doing some amazing things to everything from grouper to crab cakes, and even steaks and salads. One of my friends had the beet salad and said it was exceptional after just one bite. I had the crab and reef fish cake with a light crust... perfectly seasoned and served with a smear I can't even describe! Everything here is elevated without being pretentious. Try the hazelnut crusted grouper or the salmon...both were favorites at our table. This is more than just a place for special occasions, and I'll be back often! read more

Had dinner for two here on Thursday evening. The space was larger than I expected, but still had a very cozy atmosphere and our booth was very comfortable soacing wise and bolume level was very pleasant. The service was very attentive and gracious and the owner stopped by our table briefly and asked us how we enjoyed it and answered our questions about the unique menu (lots of interesting flavor combinations). Our favorite dish was the black grouper with pistachio crust served atop fresh fennel shavings and a delicious faro. I love when restaurants feature local fish and they had a few to choose from. If you're familiar with the Pavilion Plaza at US-41 and Vanderbilt Beach Road, you might remember KC American Bistro, a long-time local favorite. The restaurant recently changed hands and has been reimagined as Amber Cove, now under new ownership. Since we had always enjoyed KC, we decided to give this new spot a try. Amber Cove is conveniently located near the movie theater, making it the perfect place to enjoy dinner before or after a show. The interior has been refreshed with a lighter, more coastal look that complements their seafood-forward menu. We arrived early before a movie, and the service was wonderfully attentive--the new owner even stopped by our table for a friendly chat, which was a nice personal touch. We sampled the Crab & Fish Cakes, Beet Salad, Hazelnut Grouper, and Lobster Linguine. The linguine was a bit sweet for my taste, but everything else was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. All in all, Amber Cove feels like a welcome addition to the North Naples dining scene--polished yet relaxed, with a menu that invites you to linger and explore. I always take the position that a new restaurant deserves a couple of months before reviewing because there is a learning period. This place is an exception. Service was perfect (Seth). Group of five. We had wagyu meatballs and mushroom bisque appetizers. They were both top notch. The group had Short ribs, Pork Chops and Lobster linguine. Everyone loved their meals. The chef and owner came and talked to us and were gracious and friendly. The comments on the entrees could not have been more positive. We finished with a desert selection of Carrot Cake, tiramisu, and key lime Bar which were all delicious. We will make this a regular stop! read more

I don't recommend this Restaurant, The Swordfish was good not $52 good, the pork chop porterhouse was tuff :( $54 , but the short ribs was good but $55 :( , the three of us shared the carrot cake and no one liked it. I went with a party of 6 based on a recommendation... and it was incredible! Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, the chef came to our table to check in (and bring a birthday surprise!), but the star of the evening was of course the food. We had a mix of sea bass, grouper and halibut at our table and each had a unique presentation and amazing flavor. I had a hard time choosing because I saw so many dishes coming out that looked amazing. Next time I'll be trying the short rib because the "smoky dome" looked so fun! This restaurant could easily be on 5th Ave or 3rd St, but I'm glad it's closer to my home because I expect to be a regular. This is a convenient spot for visitors who want to catch sunset after an early meal or for so many locals in North Naples who want to avoid downtown.
