I liked we could book a reservation online. We went on New Year's Eve. I didn't catch it they had any specials for the evening. They had a kid's menu which was a plus! I had a berry mojito which was excellent. The mahi fish tacos were delicious. It came with 3 tacos with large pieces of fish. The carrots in the red cabbage slaw seemed to be pickled which gave it a nice touch. The kiddos had the chicken tenders, hamburger and kids steak. The chicken tenders and hamburger were your standard kid's items. The steak looked like a flat, sad piece of hamburger. My 7 year old even questioned it....but for $10, I guess you can't expect much! It looks fancier on the outside than it is. You can make it a dress up or down place. I wish their menu was larger. There wasn't a lot to choose from IMO. Overall, nice place though! read more

We came to Keewaydin's on a Friday night with reservations for a group of 6 during season. We were promptly seated on the front patio by the street. Its a pleasant casual ambiance. I had the Pina Colada to drink and it was tasty. We decided to start with the Calamari and the Crab dip. The Calamari was nice, lightly breaded and with a little bit of crunch and a nice sauce. The crab dip was pretty tasty but there weren't enough chips provided and the dip itself was a bit too soupy and watery, they need to work on the consistency. I had the Keewaydin's seafood pasta as my main. It had shimp - tiny tiny shrimp, mussels and clams, with pasta in a very brothy watery tomato based sauce and with a few sliced cherry tomatoes. This dish was not great. The lady had a blackened grouper and thought it was very rubbery and that it didn't seem fresh. We were both disappointed in the food although our company was good. Service was attentive. So... nice enough place and atmosphere but maybe better for a drink and apps than actually eating dinner here. read more

We stopped by Keewaydin's on 5th and ordered the salad, the sampler platter, and the calamari. Unfortunately, the food was pretty average. The tomatoes in the salad were soft and unappetizing, and the beets had almost no flavor. Honestly, the standout item of the entire meal was the shrimp and crab dip with the crunchy chips, and the fact that the dip was the best thing we had says a lot. Service was fine, especially considering they weren't busy. One thing I did appreciate was the outdoor seating with heaters, which kept us warm on a chilly day. Just be aware that the outdoor area doesn't get much sun, so the heaters are doing most of the work. Overall, not a terrible experience, but definitely not memorable for the right reasons. read more

We had a familiy dinner at Keewaydin's as we were visiting Naples, FL and it was a great experience that we likely will repeat when coming back to the area. The restaurant is centrally located in a shopping area so having an easy before or after meal walk is very pleasant. We have younger children so were a bit apprehensive about finding a place where they wouldn't be out of place, but still was a bit nicer for a dinner. We felt comfortable being sat in a corner in the front room. We ordered oysters and drinks to start that were fine, but nothing that blew us away. The food was also quite good across the board. Between the adults, we had the Chili Rub Tripletail and a filet and the kids enjoyed the usual kids menu fare. On the whole, we likely will be back, but will also explore a few other restaurants in the area. read more

My sister in law and I ate there three times in two days whilst shopping on 5th Avenue. We stopped at their beautiful outdoor seating and twice had the best coconut shrimp I've ever eaten. The coconut crab cakes are excellent as well. Servers were smiling and friendly. Great cocktails too. My SIL had the Lime in the Coconut which they substituted the tequila with Malibu (?) and she enjoyed immensely. I enjoyed a Pinot Grigio. read more

During a trip to Naples on a very hot and humid July, my daughter requested we should have oysters as we had spent some quality time at the beach and seafood was on our mind. Walking on 5th street we saw a sign for oysters special outside of Keewaydin's. Not in the mood to explore any additional restaurants as we were completely exhausted, too a chance and went in. The place is huge and has a very beachy vibe with structures of fish hanging from the ceiling. We went ahead and ordered a dozen of the Oysters, half baked and half on the shell along with an order of the sliders. The service was a bit slow to take the order but the food arrived pretty quickly. The oysters on the shell were simply amazing, plum and very flavorful. When inquired the server said they were Washington Oysters. The baked ones were ok as the baking probably took some of the flavor away. Even the sliders were actually pretty good. For the experience and if you are in the mood to try some oysters this was a pretty nice place. They did have a very elaborate seafood menu but we will save ot for our ne t trip. read more

This place is amazing the bartenders especially George was awesome their $2 bar menu is probably the best deal in Naples. You don't get discounts here in Naples. Wings were good it's a different sauce but still flavorful. The coconut shrimp hands down best deal you will find $8 for 4 big shrimp. I paid more than this for smaller shrimp at another place kind of close. We seen someone order the key lime pie so we had to try it WOW it's amazing. One of the best key lime pies I have ever had. Highly recommend this place they have great staff, good food, and a great atmosphere you can talk without being overpowered by noise. read more

Such a fun restaurant with a tropical vacation vibe. It's a bit like a fancier version of Margaritaville, with a casual resortwear atmosphere, colorful pictures of sunsets and boats on the wall, and gorgeous tropical lighting fixtures. The restaurant is separated into three areas...a main dining room with a beautiful long bar, a front "porch" area just off 5th Ave, and a side outdoor area near the plaza for The Naples Players. We sat on the front porch and started our dinner with delicious cocktails. The Port Royal Spritz is my favorite! For dinner, I opted for the Grouper and Chips which was delicious, with a very crispy and well-seasoned batter on the fish. Others at my table opted for the Short Ribs (which looked like the winning dish of the night) and the Crab-Stuffed Grouper. Everyone was so happy with our meals. Service was superb! And it's worth noting the sound management was superb. We could actually hear ourselves think and talk. We'll definitely be back...I need to try the Short Ribs next time! read more

Great spot on 5th avenue. Best way to describe it on a weekday is upscale casual. Inside is very cute but we got to enjoy the patio area. Came here on a little family getaway. Started with two kids pastas (because you know). Mike our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Brought out kids cups without us even having to ask. The adults shared their oysters, conch fritters, crab queso and short rib entree. The oysters were fresh and delicious. The conch fritters were crispy and the sauce was spectacular. The queso was good, but not memorable. We enjoyed the short rib, however, the mashed potatoes were bland. Mike noted that it was our daughter's upcoming birthday and surprised her with ice cream and a candle. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our meal. Service was above and beyond and definitely deserves 5+ stars. Mike is amazing. Food was good but nothing mind blowing. No true complaints so battled between 4 and 5 stars. read more

What a great Easter Sunday dinner. We had five at our table and everyone of us raved about it. Starting with a shrimp cocktail ( 4 Hugh shrimp) perfect cocktail sauce, not to hot just enough zip. Then onto Grouper topped with crab and served with broccolini, (my request) just because I don't Like spinach. Sat by one of the big windows out onto the street where we got a lovely breeze. My partner and I ordered dirty martinis to start. They were perfectly dirty with a smooth finish. As for the food, excellent. The oysters were phenomenal. I wish I could remember the two types we ordered but the mango mignonette was to die for either way! We split the oyster dressing ceaser salad & I would say, a really good size for the price. Naples is getting to be an annual trip for us cos of our teenage daughter's obsession with Brandy Melville, so on the way there, we stopped to have a late lunch at Keewaydin's. The atmosphere was giving coastal open air calm which was really nice. Loved sitting next to the floor to ceiling windows that were open next to the sidewalk and main thoroughfare. The food was just ok to me. I got the t-bone which was on the tough side even tho it was nicely seasoned. The citrus Caesar salad was just a plain Caesar salad. My husband got the grouper Oscar which he enjoyed and the coconut shrimp which was the best thing we ate there. My daughter got the cheeseburger, she said it was good as well. Overall, it was a non eventful and tasting $200 lunch overlooking a very nice view. I feel like you'd come here not for the food itself but the romanticize your lunch. Our sever was also just ok, we weren't dressed up and I know I was dressed waaaaay down so that could have contributed to his demeanor but I don't care, I just thought I was going to circle Brandy Melville 30 times looking at size 0 clothes with my teen. read more

The pros: nice ambiance, prompt and friendly service by the bartender (I believe his name was James) and food runner, and a variety of menu options to choose from. The cons: the "summer special" $39 per person menu selections looked good on the menu but were rather disappointing. I tried the seafood chowder and the seafood pasta. While both were tasty, neither had very much actual seafood. Morsels of fish in the soup. The shrimp pasta had a half dozen very small shrimp with a lot of pasta. My wife had the grouper and fries. This was a better option but nothing special. The cocktail that accompanied the meal was pretty lame as it was a very weak pour. So, after tax and tip we're in for $110. Not a very good value. We stopped by Keewaydin's on Fifth after the Naples Art Show today for a cold beverage at the bar. My fiance, ordered a 16 oz tap High 5 for $10. It arrived in the tiniest glass (clearly not a pint glass.) When it was questioned as to why the glass was so much smaller than other glasses with beer in them at the bar, we were assured by the bartender that it was indeed a 16 oz glass. Then the manager came out and said she had ordered the glassware herself and it was indeed 16 oz. My fiance, who has had quite a few pints of beer in his 61 years on this earth spoke to the manager and said politely " I'll tell you what. I'll order a 12oz can of beer, and fill it up in this glass that you are telling me holds 16 oz., and if the 12 oz can fills up this glass, you comp. the beer!" "No Sir, I won't agree to that!" said the manager. Why wouldn't she agree to something that would only prove that she were telling the truth? Because she was lying! We checked out this new place with limited time and enjoyed the happy hour cocktails. Service was friendly and prompt during our shirt visit. Happy hour menu also offered a nice assortment of appetizers. We ordered two which were good sized and delicious. The crab dip was chunky full of crab and shrimp and the conch fritters were crisp and nicely seasoned. The Lime in the coconut cocktail was delicious and the Marco island margarita was generously sized for happy hour. We sat at a table in the covered outside area which had a restful vibe tucked off to the side of the main street. There was also a good size bar with outdoor seating.
