We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. Pancho was our bartender and he worked hard to make sure our experience was enjoyable. The only thing we did not enjoy was the young man standing by the bar watching the bar. I think he may have been an efficiency expert, but his presence was off putting, not only to us, but to the people on both sides of us. We know positions like this are necessary, but the way he watched the patrons and the bartenders was a bit creepy. We come to the Naples Ritz Carlton yearly, and we are glad for Dusk. We were in town for a conference and opted to eat dinner at the hotel for convenience. We were in the mood for sushi so dining at Dusk seemed like the perfect spot. Upon arriving, the host was nice and the location itself was decorated very nice. We were excited for dinner. Now upon seating was pretty much when everything went downhill. We were seated with no menu or water, and it took around 15 minutes for the waitress to arrive and assist us. Mind you in these 15 minutes we were had already found somewhere else to go eat and were about to get up. That's when she realized we didn't even have a menu and gave one to us. The menu was very small -- not many things to choose from. The miso soup was also about $14, which is easily the most expensive miso soup I've seen and we are used to Miami pricing. Should've figured then and there that the meal was going to be disappointing. We got 3 sushi rolls to share, all of which were very just okay. I mean the yellowtail roll had a NEON GREEN "roe" topping, which just looked insane. There is no way that's a naturally occurring color lol. Think mall sushi quality but with the prices of a fancy spot. We ended up spending close to $90 for the 3 rolls and a beer. MEH. Would def recommend eating pretty much anywhere else. Dusk Sushi Restaurant is located in the beautiful Ritz Carlton Hotel in Naples. They offer Great sushi. The menu is simple and not that many choices. The service was very good. We started with Edamame. I had a Dragon Roll and my wife had the Tempura Shrimp Roll. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is on the dark side and the tables can be a bit lower than normal but the decor is very nice. There is also a nice size bar. read more

Dusk is a sushi restaurant / bar inside the Ritz Carlton. The decor is beautiful, and even though the hotel is on the beach it's not really the kind of place you go to in your beach cover-up and flip-flops. We went on a weeknight and sat at the sushi bar. It was quite empty when we arrived at 6 PM, but by the time we left the place was jamming. A DJ started around seven and the place got progressively more like a club and less like a restaurant. People were dancing the night away which made for some fun people watching. The sushi bar has a rather small menu, but enough variety to keep most sushi lovers happy. We started with the vegetable tempura, which was lightly battered, crispy, and not heavy or greasy. Then we moved onto the Salmon Aburi which is a rectangular shaped sushi and the house specialty, the rainbow roll, and a California roll. All were good but not mind blowing. READ THIS FIRST; the food is okay, however there is very little difference from any standard sushiya. Yellowtail, is the same packaged Frozen yellowtail used almost everywhere however the Ritz charges an astonishing $14 a piece for it. Yes, I know it's the rich, but this isn't fresh yellowtail. In fact it's the exact same Frozen side of Yellowtail you can get at the local Asian Mart. As for the tuna, they say it's a akamai implying that it's Bluefin and in fact they say it's Bluefin however my taste tells me it's bigeye tuna which is still very good and a step up from most run of the mill sushi places. Aside from that, all of their fish is okay but generally unimpressive again, especially considering the price which is ridiculous especially for the quality and mediocre service. As for the sake list, it's small, and quite likely the worst possible pallet choices you could make in each category. All but two choices are the small 300ml bottle and prices start at $55. Again, ridiculously expensive. The preparation of the dishes themselves was acceptable, albeit the rice was cold and flavorless. Portion size was definitely on the small side and fish selection was sufficient yet limited. They have a half a dozen standard yet unimpressive maki rolls and oddly enough spicy tuna isn't on the list however they will make it for you. However one thing that did make their list is about the nastiest concoction ever and that is the volcano roll, covered in hot borderline burnt mayo. Also known as "the sushi of savages". Might as well put ketchup on it. Yeah, I know I sound bitter. All right, I won't drag this on, end of the story is skip this place, right up the street there's an absolutely phenomenal Sushi Joint by the name of Namba. read more

The food came out cold sometimes, the servers were very unhelpful when I asked questions about which dishes contain pork or not because the menu was not descriptive. Very unexpected but thankfully this does not reflect to any other restaurants on the property or the hotel itself. Food was great as always, however, service was very bad. I eventually asked her to just bring a pitcher since she was so inattentive. 10 minutes later, still no drinks. Finally asked the manager if we could have a new server. Same waitress came back and didn't even apologize. She knew we were annoyed since we asked multiple times for drinks yet she didn't deliver. The restaurant at the time wasn't even crowded! I came here to kill one hour during a pre-fashion show for the Animal Humane Society Of Naples. The staff is perfect. They came as soon as I arrived to welcome me and take my order. They bring water and appetizer before my Mojito. The Mojito arrived and was just perfect. This place is definitively a nice lounge with a very competent staff. The tables are all at lounge height rather than that of a restaurant height. Sushi was ok to meeah. Uni tasted fresh and tasty but Amaebi (sweet shrimp) was subpar. The shrimp heads were prepared in a tempura fashion rather than deep fried with light coating. Other sushi items were average at best. Average sake list and wine list. I still had a good experience with great service and great music. At 10ish, Dusk turned into a club scene. DJ was great. Chic and trendy decor, fitting for date night. It's more of a bar than a restaurant with an uptown vibe. We ate here twice while staying at the ritz. The server for the first night, Anisa was excellent, while the second night's server (won't name him...) was a train wreck. He forgot to bring soy sauce, left someone else's half drunk cocktail on our table, failed to bring the check for a looong time, etc. But he was pleasant and friendly. As for the food, hamachi, tataki (sliced salmon with ponzu sauce) yellowtail jalapeño roll, spicy rainbow roll were all excellent. Drinks were great, but I recommend ordering from your favorites, and not necessarily from their "specialty drinks" I found them overly sweet and overpriced. Dusk is one of the best sushi bars I have ever been to! I was staying at the Ritz Carlton Naples last week, and frequented Dusk for sushi or after-dinner drinks every night we were there. The ambiance and vibe in there is very cool, relaxing, or can be vibrant and upbeat if you would like! The volcano roll with a huge pile of fresh lump crab meat is a must-order, and their miso soup with clams is delicious as well! You really can't go wrong with any sushi roll or sashimi here - everything is ultra fresh and tastes great! The bartenders are very friendly and accommodating as well. I met our party in the lobby because we arrived a bit early and we all got a drink ($210 for weak drinks I might add... but I digress) 7pm came and we made our way to the Dusk. To our surprise we never saw a hostess and a waiter said casually, "Sit anywhere!!" The place was EMPTY! The seating is like a cheap frat house with coffee table seating... really? We're to spend $600 on sushi hunched over a coffee table with a cube for a seat? They have a weak selection of Sake and the sushi was just average.
