Sat upstairs for dinner, food was fantastic. Sea bass was the best. Dinner was filling but we got dessert anyway feeling we were missing out if we didn't. Banana pudding alone was worth the trip. Service was great, attentive and helpful. We went downstairs for a drink and stayed for a couple hours. Hostess came over to talk she was delightful,Sarah. Bartender, Megan(spelling?) was fantastic. Absolutely loved our lunch here at Bayside Seafood. Morning was a little dreary so we went out and about while the clouds burned off and stopped here for lunch. Started with some drinks that were tasty beach drinks...Bayside Breeze, Bayside pink lemonade, Piña Colada and a virgin piña colada. For our meals Wifey and I had Crispy grouper sandwiches and the kids had a Jr Turkey Club and Grilled chicken BLT. Service a little slow, but they were busy. They were "ok" - for the price, wish there was more crab in them. I got the mahi grilled with green beans and sauce on the side. The fish was grilled perfectly! Hubby's snapper was delicious as well. And a $24 quesadilla that was served with premade guacamole. Has a great view, I'm sure they have other good options. If you want oysters I'd go somewhere else because this seafood restaurant doesn't know how to properly shuck them. Men's room smelled badly of urine but the floor wasn't wet so safe to assume it isn't cleaned properly. read more

We dined here for Christmas Eve dinner last evening. The food was exquisite. The weather of course was exquisite although the restaurant couldn't do much about that. Our server was great and she mentioned they were serving 600 covers that evening, which is amazing that they can crank out food that good with so many people coming there. We came down from Tampa. A local told us about this place so we went early and managed to get an outside table which was fabulous. The food and service were also top notch. Four of us had lunch outside near the bar. The food was good but people were talking very loud and we couldn't hear each other.

We have dined as an extended family at Bayside for many years and Chef Abel and the staff have been gracious and the food always outstanding. Our dinner last night exemplified what a difference a locally owned restaurant makes. Our group of six was there for dinner prior to my father's funeral the next day when my wife received a call that her stepdad had died. Our waiter (sadly his name escapes me as my brother paid the bill) boxed up our entrees and desserts and was most compassionate. The food at the restaurant and then our tilefish and shrimp entrees were wonderful. But the care and concern they show matches the level of the food. Even though I live out of town, Bayside has my thanks and my patronage whenever we return. They have my highest recommendation. read more

We had a great dinner. We got our reservation on Ope Table (recommended as we went on a Tuesday night and many tables were reserved, especially the ones outside.) We were seated by a window with a beautiful view of the water. My children were very happy with their food, something that doesn't always happen, and my husband loved his steak tips with chimichuri sauce. I had a burrata salad and gazpacho, both were delicious. Our waitress was very attentive. Had a great family dinner here on Saturday night. Beautiful evening on their upper deck with gorgeous views and beautiful weather. Service was wonderful and very attentive. Host and hostess were so friendly & accommodating. The bartender was great - we enjoyed a drink before we sat for dinner. The food was incredible - we loved everything that we got. Our server was awful. Not friendly whatsoever, never asked us how we were doing or checked in on us during our meal which was super disappointing. I don't even think she introduced herself. Although Bayside was super crowded and all workers super busy, one of the managers on duty ( whose name we cannot recall, but who recently moved here from Denver) swooped in and calmly took over the duties of several of her servers, with a smile on her face the whole time. Bayside is lucky to have her because she really "saved the day" for both the waitstaff and for us, the customers, by stepping in and stepping up to ease the job for the waitstaff--by serving beside them--and to ease our customer experience by ensuring we would be taken care of as quickly as humanly possible...which we were. Atmosphere - Excellent. I will admit that, when we drove into the parking lot of an upscale strip mall like complex I was not expecting much in the way of a dining experience. However, I can say that this restaurant offers a great dining experience. There is an upper and lower dining area. The upper area has somewhat casual yet elegant outside patio feel. This is what we chose. We were seated along the railing and had a view of an inlet surrounded by residential buildings on either side. There is a bar on this level that seats about 8 people. There are about 8 four tops near the railing and another dozen high top tables set back further. I am not the best photographer and my pictures do not do justice to the experience. Service - Excellent. I can't say enough about how great our server and the entire service team were during the entire experience. Food - Excellent, with one somewhat minor exception. First, I had a vodka martini and it was excellent. I ordered the Rack of Lamb that came with green beans and mashed potatoes. To start, I had the caprese salad. The portion size was great, however the slices of mozzarella cheese were far from creamy. For the price, the salad should include buffalo mozzarella or burrata. The rack of lamb was, perhaps, the best that I have ever had. It was cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly and there was ample meat. Overall Value - Excellent. I am giving a pass to the restaurant for going cheap on the mozzarella. This restaurant experience was well worth the expense and I highly recommend it. read more

My husband and I finally made our way to Bayside Seafood Grill after it had been on our list of places to try since we became locals. It's now at the top of our list of favorites and places we'll return to over and over! The restaurant is beautiful and we loved the atmosphere. Our server Angel was awesome!!!!! And everything we ordered was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! Honestly, my grouper dinner was by far the best grouper I've had anywhere. I'm already super excited to come back!! My husband said the same about his dinner as well!!!! We were totally surprised when we were sent home with the dessert we ordered complimentary since we were celebrating our anniversary - which made our night extra special. I was so surprised when we pulled into the parking lot of a shopping center for this restaurant. I was even more surprised when we walked in, went upstairs and saw beautiful views. Who would have thought??? The restaurant upstairs is very petty at night and I loved the water views. We were seated next to the bar and right after we placed our cocktail order, we realized how noisy the group at the bar was and asked if we could be re-seated. We were then seated at the railing looking over the water, which was much nicer. I ordered a Cosmopolitan and it was one of the best I have ever had. Often times they put in too much cranberry, but this one had just a wisp and it was perfect. Our server brought warm rolls, which were very good. The menu is nice, with a variety of proteins, sides, appetizers and salads. I started with the Caesar salad and ordered the Teriyaki Glazed Salmon and a side order of Rice. The salad arrived quickly and looked very good. Unfortunately, the dressing was so tart that I didn't care for it at all. Instead of having croutons, it had a toasted piece of bread that was so old and hard I couldn't even chew it. Not a good start after loving my cocktail. My salmon arrived and looked great, served over julienned vegetables. The salmon was hot, and the flavor was great. The vegetables took on some of the glaze and were very good as well. The rice, although tasty, was cold from the start. Bummer. Service from start to finish was excellent. We were able to take our time and enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. read more

There is a lot to unpack here. It was difficult to get a reservation, so clearly this restaurant is desired by some, but I will not be back. Let's start with the noise. It was LOUD. We sat on the patio (under a tent) and had to read each others lips for most of the night (unfortunately, that's not an exaggeration). It was also very busy, which lead to bad service. The waitress was nice, but we barely saw her as she was assigned too many tables. All of that aside, I didn't think the food was very good either. I have tried a lot of salmon in the Naples area, and I would say this was hands down the worst. It was over cooked and bland. Luckily, the spinach risotto was good, as well as the free bread. Lastly, the pricing was impressive for what you are getting and I don't think the food or experience warrants the cost here. read more

They were very gracious moving us inside with a table by the window. The service was great, very attentive but not overbearing. The facility is very comfortable while still maintaining an upscale feel. The prices are as you would expect of a place of this type in this location and the food was outstanding, very well worth the price. We all had seafood dishes & the portions were generous. Delicious and generous. *Chicken Penne with tomatoes, prosciutto, peas and large pieces of chicken in a garlic light cream sauce. *Crispy Mahi Mahi with Julienne Vegetables, wakame ginger, a Thai honey and mango sauce - FABULOUS!!! *Pan Seared Snapper with spinach and sundried tomato risotto. All meals were cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. It was a Monday Night and they were packed. Not one hiccup in service. We sat upstairs, inside with a beautiful view of the bay. We came at a very busy time but was able to get a seat outside for the two of us. The service was great. Our server did a great job. Bayside's Crispy Calamari: with a Sautéed Tuscan Red Peppers, Garlic, Red Onion, White Wine Butter Reduction, had to say was good not best I had tried but was crispy, had a good taste the portion was enough to share. Lobster Bites Spicy Remoulade: the MVP of the night of the appetizers, exceptional super delicious, crispy, and crunchy a bit spicy each bite was super Bueno to my palate. For my main course, I had Gulf Shrimp & Lobster Fettuccine a pasta of form of ribbon that comes with shallot, garlic, herbs & sun-dried tomato-chive cream sauce, comes with enough pasta and seafood to fill your stomach, very delicious, very tasty, and delicious highlight recommend.
