Nate and I landed in Florida and almost immediately made our way to Brooks Bar & Grill after finding out they were hosting a Spartan watch party for March Madness! The group was lively and loud and we ended up sitting at the bar with great service from Amanda, the bartender who was hustling. The bar was full most of the time we were there and people were ordering lots of drinks, so the staff was busy. Service was pretty good for how busy it was! We decided to get some snacks - we ordered two of the stuffed onion rings (onion ring stuffed with jalapeno cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon and scallions) and the grouper basket to share. Our food came out quickly with the onion rings first. I've never seen this before but imagine if a loaded potato skin and an onion ring had a baby. The onion ring had a layer of crisp cheese on the bottom to form a little bowl of the onion ring that held more cheese, bacon, and scallions. They were delicious and I'm glad we got to try them. The grouper basket was also very tasty, with tender chunks of grouper fried crispy with fries and coleslaw. This Brooks is a part of a golf course. My kids were picked up by a golf cart in the parking lot and absolutely loved that. My daughter got the adult donut burger and absolutely loved it . I got the chicken pita which was great! Definitely a great place for kids and pretty view of golf course too. read more

Friendly staff, tasty food, and a casual atmosphere make this one of our regular go-to spots. Yes, it can be a bit on the pricy side, so we usually try to take advantage of the happy hour specials. If the pours were just a little more generous, or prices came down slightly, I think the place would be packed all the time. Keep in mind, that's not on the staff, that's management. That said, if they are packed, we don't mind, it means we can usually get a table more easily "in season." Menu highlights: The eggrolls are a must-try, the burgers are great with plenty of variety, and even the dinner entrées (like the meatloaf) hit the spot when you don't feel like cooking. Portion sizes are solid too! The dining area and bar are always clean and organized, and it's clear the staff take pride in keeping things that way, something that really stands out compared to some other places in Naples, like the family dining chains. The team is always welcoming and quick with a smile. Just one tip: double-check your bill, as the occasional overage can happen. It was loud inside but that was on us, we could have chosen a quieter outside table.I need to say that our server was fine. Service was not the problem. Food on the other hand....not good. Buffalo Crispy Chicken Salad....the chicken was not crispy, it was cold and Not breaded. And it was drenched in buffalo sauce making that the only flavor profile for the offering. My Brooks burger had no flavor, at ALL. It was like eating boiled meat. The only saving grace for it was the ketchup. The other burger; a 'fig and fine' came without the 'fine' aka the goat cheese. How is it that you miss one of the three ingredients which make it a speciality burger? Sadly it doesn't end there. The onion rings were forgotten but finally arrived thanks to our server checking on us. Last but not least...the cokes tasted as if they had cleaned the lines and guns and had left some of the Clorox in them. Undrinkable. I was so hopeful that this could be a new 'go to' for us. We judge our faves based on how well they can make a burger. Unfortunately Brooks Burgers does not make our list. read more

this review is for the location within Hibiscus Golf Club. I have not dined at any other Brooks restaurant location. I was not aware they were known for their burgers. In hindsight, I wish I had tried a burger. I ordered the Autumn Salad and unfortunately it was very disappointing. The lettuce wasn't even green. The chicken I paid extra for to be added was overcooked and really dry. If I do go back to try Brooks again, I probably wouldn't order this dish. We had a great "lets decide to grab dinner out at the last minute" experience at Mulligan's. I had the gyro pita with Greek salad and my wife had a burger with fries. Simple stuff, yes, but plenty of places even get those wrong. The burger was great (I had a bite to confirm) and quite large, with nicely crispy fries. I'm a big gyro fan and soooo many restaurants get it wrong. Not Mulligans! Good gyro meat, tomatoes & onion (a proper gyro *never* has lettuce imo), and a great yogurt based tzatziki (not some garlic mayo imitation that seems to be disturbingly common on lesser gyros). And a good Greek salad too, with all the proper ingredients and a nicely vinegar-y dressing. This inside space was fairly crowded and noisy when we arrived, but outside was very nice and much quieter. Choose based on your mood :) One more shout out: the Guinness on tap was as close to the real deal as I've found here in the US. I had many work trips to Dublin, and quickly fell in love with draft Guinness. It's quite hard to find it here where it foams the same (trust me, I try constantly) but Mulligans has it down pat. Not 100% but far better than the vast majority of draft Guinness here in the states. read more

Open to public. Bar and Restaurant with quiet outside seating. Drinks are excellent. I have been here a dozen times and only eaten one thing because its the best in the area: crispy Buffalo chicken salad. Wow! Service is mixed. Some servers good, some bad. Usually good. One recently told my husband he couldn't bring his water in with him again . If you are looking for a nice, quiet bar, or outside seating thats quiet and beautiful scenery and good food, check this place out. Their other food looks good! read more

Great 19th hole restaurant and bar at Hibiscus golf club in Lely. Nice view of the course, up on top of the hill. Huge bar and lots of outdoor covered seating. The menu slants Greek which is awesome. We were Mulligan regulars, food was good and service was acceptable. Our last two visits were definitely different. The first was when we ordered the Greek platter for two. The meat portions were fine. The veggies and potatoes were overcooked and not at all tasty. At our last visit the waitress seemed to be preoccupied with chatting with her coworkers. Poor at best service. Customers should not have to ask for services such as water, place settings and extra napkins. I've been to this place about 4-5 times within the past year. Every time I go, the food is always great it doesn't matter whether it's busy or empty, food is delicious. Service was wonderful! Never ever waste your money here. I scheduled an event here over a month ahead of time and kept in touch with the owner about the party. We were getting the party set up, and the owners husband walks into our enclosed rented area which we were specifically promised months ahead of time. We wanted the side of the building for the shades protecting the tables from the rain. He came at our party very drunk and aggressively, and yelled at us that we need to move so that he and his friends could watch the soccer game and smoke. The area they sat in to watch this soccer game and smoke was an area we were promised could be used for the main event and present opening. The owners husband yelled at me in my face so harshly, he made me cry, 9 months pregnant. I had to move all my decorations that were already set up cause of this drunk jerk. Then my party gets rained on everything flying off the tables! Would've never happened if we had the space we were promised. Later on the owners husband showed interest in my friend that was very much too young for him and acted very unprofessional. He asked her if she wants a "sugar daddy"..... ummm dude you have a wife! We had lots of food left at the end of the party that we wanted to box up, but the server probably threw away $30 worth of food for no reason. The food is pretty overpriced and mediocre. They need to work on larger platters for bigger parties, we had to pass plates table to table. What was supposed to be such a special day for me ended up being the worst nightmare. Had dinner at Mulligan's last night and we we're definitely disappointed with the food and the service, we were a party of 4 and we arrived at 6 and the place was empty, we should have taken that as a big hint, we were seated and a waitress didn't come to our table for at least 15 minutes when she arrived she wanted the whole order at that time, she didn't ask for our drink order first. We ordered the onion soup and the clam chowder both were ok, for dinner I ordered the stuffed grouper special which was terrible, 2 others in our party ordered the pork chop which was raw and had to be sent back, we asked if we could substitute the mixed vegetables for spinach and were told that was a up charge! The last person in our party ordered the chicken wings and asked for blue cheese and was told that was a up charge, and lastly when we paid our bill we were charged a credit card fee! Mulligans does not even deserve a star. We, my sister & a friend, wanted to try this place. We entered restaurant at 4 pm on Saturday & sign says 'wait to be seated'. Nobody acknowledged us. Customers seated at a table said just seat yourself. We wanted to sit outside but encountered three (3) waitstaff that told us to wait. Asked one waitress if we could sit down & she shrugged her shoulders & walked away. There was absolutely NO organization. Finally a waitress said sit anywhere & NOBODY acknowledged us. We should have left earlier. We did not encounter one pleasant person in the restaurant. Will never go back there again. Awful employees. Most unorganized place I have ever encountered & I worked in the industry for 20+ years. Somebody please tell me why this place is still in business. read more

Best burgers. Terrific flavor especially the lamb burger. A mixture of beef and lamb, done the way you like it. Then topped with smoked Gouda and crispy bacon, I'm making myself hungry writing about it. Then add either great fries or delicious coleslaw. read more
