Another great Yelp discovery! I found this spot while searching for breweries in the area so Nate and I stopped in on a Friday evening. It was packed! The parking lot was pretty busy but we were able to grab one of the last spots. On the night we visited, they had live music (Gator Nate) and a tattoo artist set up doing flash tattoos. Definitely a fun and lively spot! I noticed a lot of groups with kids, so I guess it's family-friendly. It was quite loud and crowded but we found a table near the bar. We ordered drinks at the bar - I got the watermelon lime hard seltzer, which was very lightly flavored but refreshing. I also tried the ranch water that they were advertising I think for the event. It was strong and tasty! Nate got a beer that he said was okay, and we shared their version of a spaghett (light beer with Aperol + lemon juice). The drinks were good but I'm so upset that we had just eaten because the food smelled delicious... I need to go back just for the award-winning banh mi dog. I also wanted to try the kimchi burger, the Thai Brussels sprouts, the pizza, etc. The bartenders were all friendly and patient and if I lived in the area, this would be a go-to spot for sure. I liked the variety of drinks and food (they have a full bar) and there was an outdoor space. Adding this to my list to revisit the next time we're in Naples! We were excited to try this brewery as we had heard a lot of good things about it. It looks really nice and the ambiance seemed right up our alley. Unfortunately that is where the good ends. The bartender was incredibly rude. We were just waiting in line to order a beer. Finally when we get to the front after being ignored for other patrons that arrived after we were then told they close at 8pm, even though their website clearly says 9pm. She said you should have checked instagram - it shows 8pm, but ill make an exception and serve you. If this is how they treat customers, I won't be coming back. A microbrewery with a difference. They serve their excellent craft beers and some interesting food. Since I did not have any of their beer, I sampled their pizza and hot dogs. The most interesting hot dog was the Vietnamese hot dog. It is marinated for 5 days, then cooked. I really enjoyed the hot dog. The pizza was good, and I would try it again. The service was outstanding considering we had a large group and we all received our orders in a timely fashion. If you have ever been to a Chicago bar in the summer, you will have noticed that many of them have garage doors that open onto an outdoor area. Ankrolab does the same. Not recommended when it is sweltering hot in Naples, but in the "winter," it made for some incredible atmosphere. read more

I have been to Ankrolab many times before, but last night I got to learn more about the business. I did not know they use reverse osmosis in their beer production (the RO in Ankrolab), and have the ability to change the water to match the areas in which they originated, like in New England for hazy beers. I had the Bayshore Blonde, which is a favorite, as well as Turtle Season! We learned that some of the wood in the building was from a very old barn owned by a man named Otto, which is where the Otto's Barn Amber Ale got its name. We had the Bahn Mi Dog, which is an award winner, as well as the chicken tendies and pretzel bites! All three were so good. I didn't know they had a full kitchen these days, and there is a ton of good stuff on the menu! The pizzas looked great, but I was stuffed and didn't get to try them. Overall, Ankrolab is a great addition to our community. They have great beer, great people, and great food! read more

Ankrolab has what a brewery should have - indoor spaces with concrete floors, outdoor covered spaces with picnic tables, good beer, a food truck, table games, cornhole, and a friendly space for kids and dogs. The beers are great and there are surprisingly many food options, though the quality of the food is average. There's not enough parking and it seems like there is always a line to order a beer, but otherwise it is a great spot. read more

So on our way home from a weekend in Marco Island, discovering Ankrolab Brewing felt like fate. We arrived before opening -- and quickly realized we weren't the only ones waiting in the parking lot. Always a good sign. Once the doors opened, we dove into some of their local favorites, and everything delivered. The beers were thoughtfully crafted and well-balanced, and the bartender was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to guide us through the menu. Before long, we were chatting with regulars and settling into that easy, community vibe that makes a brewery special. The place is spacious with an area for a live band and outdoor seating and an outdoor food truck. We did not eat here but we truly enjoyed the service and the vibe and we will be back. read more

The food is also incredible -- fried pickles, pizzas, specialty hot dogs, and so on. Recently got their liquor license and their cocktails are pretty decent. Lots of fun events throughout the week. Ankrolab Kitchen is a cool brewery. On the Sunday when I came, I could smell the remnants of Brewing from the front. Service was awesome, my beertender was Sienna, like the color, and she was the best. There is both inside and outside seating, a bar area, plenty of seating, high tables and regular tables. Cool garage atmosphere. Like it. Ordered the beer battered Pickle chips They were really good. You order food with your server, they give you a pager, and when it goes off you pick up your food at the food truck right outside. The BEER: Blue Bliss... wheat beer 6.3% ABV... Slightly boozy with light hints of Blueberry. To my pallet, tasted stronger than the ABV presented. Hooked on Saision... Saison 6% ABV... clean crispy, delish Turtle Season... NEIPA 6.5% ABV... this is very high on the IBU scale for a New England. Punched my taste buds square in the mouth, but in a good way. Green Dragon... West Coast IPA 7% ABV... I would call this puff the magic Dragon, solid smooth drinking, all day, West Coast IPA, totally crushable Don't Tell Mike... West Coast IPA 9% ABV.... this is a solid IPA. I got a lot of the peppery hop goodness with a smooth finish. Almost had a Yeuger taste. Really enjoyed myself here. I will return. read more

Yes, it is a brewery, yes, they have food BUT it is from a permanent food truck type experience outside with different hours so be aware of that. I did not come here for the food, so that is not part of this review. Service was brilliant and helpful. I had two flights of beer and though I would say from my brewery experiences the beer overall was slightly above average there were a few things that stood out to make the five stars happen. The first was the uniqueness of their offerings. The FEELIN' FUEGO ABV 5.8% - "Some like it spicy! We turned up the heat on our Lazy Hazy IPA." Was something that reminded me of a beer I made many years ago with a recipe called "Szechuan Suicide." In all my beer travels to date I had yet to find anything remotely close to it until now. Wow! Second, feeling like I wanted to take some FEELIN' home it was an easy task since they could put anything you want into a 32 oz can from the taps. Clean, and the bartender dude was very friendly and helpful. Got a flight - the decent pina collada sour, the nitro stout, the blueberry wheat and the star of the show, the Perky Blonde - a blonde ale made with coffee beans. I was very excited to visit here based on their social media photos, and the ambiance on their patio 100% delivered with the pergola, water feature, etc. However, the service was a bit lacking, the bartender seemed bothered by us asking questions (given it was our first visit, we had plenty of them). Also was disappointed that about half of their tap list were guest taps - I come to local breweries to try THEIR beers, not beers I could get anywhere. Saw the favorable reviews and was hopeful for some tasty brews, but left really disappointed (and questioning whether something had happened to my palate). The place itself is well decorated inside and out, with a beautiful outdoor seating area outlined by a wall of plants and "waterfall" featuring beer taps. For beers, I ordered a flight of four (5 oz.) beers consisting of the Down Low (a session IPA), the Brutus Maximus IPA, the Grand Marnier Cocktail Inspired Ale, and a Tripel from a guest brewery (I forget the brewery name, which is lucky for them as it was bad from the first taste and I only drank 1/3 of it). Out of them all, the Down Low was OK, but the others were not worth finishing. I'm not snobby about it, but I've had my fair share of all kind and quality of beers. I'm not sure if I just happened to pick the more experimental ones and they just tasted weird, but I have to rates it likes I drank it! read more

Ankrolab Brewing was overall an alright experience. The food I ordered were the Cajun fries, which did not have nearly enough seasoning. However, the service was quick and super friendly!!! Loved the staff's vibe! The ambience needed lots of improvements. It was extremely bright at the bar and the lighting overall was confusing. There were harsh white light at the bar and then blue fairy lights. The wallpaper had blue waves, but overall it felt super industrial. I think if they made the lights all the blue fairy lights it would extremely improve the tone of the place. read more

Fantastic. Fabulous. Excellent. This is truly a Naples gem and an experience you must try. This is a small boutique brewery which has established itself as a solid brewer since 2019. Adam the owner is a sharp, smart businessman and a friendly and knowledgeable person. We were here for a brewery tour, we have been here several times and the beer selection is deep. Stopped in this brewery on a Wednesday afternoon while traveling. Quiet, with just a couple of people inside when we arrived. We tried a flight of their hoppy offerings. They do a nice job representing the variety of styles from west coast to hazy, which I have found rare recently with so many focusing on the hazy recently. The space is very nice, bar seating, tables, good outdoor space, a shuffleboard table inside. I think there was a food truck as well, but we did not venture out there. Rating is heavily based on the space and not the beers, nor the grand opening format. Odd approach for a grand opening. Tickets. Came in at noon, less than a dozen customers. No flights. Only $4, $7, $10 options. That's a lot of money for beer I've never tried and presumptuous to expect customers to dish out the cash. Earn my respect first. They wouldn't budge on the flights, heavily enforced and even saw a guy leave. Not the best welcome and off putting. Watching the ticket purchasing, in no way did this process speed up the time to get a beer. Great initiative, bad judgement. Star deduction. I'm leaving with a firm stance on not coming back for a long time. I'd rather head to Palm City even though it's farther away. During a day trip to Naples, we decided to try out a local brewery, and found Ankrolab. What a fun place! They have a huge outdoor area and a food truck serving food onsite. I appreciate that they carry a wide variety of reasonably priced beers. I have tried the Simplexity, Mango Simplexity, Japanese Lager, Otto's Barn, and my favorite "Fat Guy in a Little Oat". Everyone was super helpful and friendly. This is definitely a good, chill place to come, relax and have a few beers. read more

Chill and tasty brewery! We got a flight to try four different beers and they let us try anything on the menu. We got two IPAs, an oatmeal stout, and their passionfruit seltzer. They did all 4 drinks amazingly. We went on a Sunday and they had a good truck outside that everyone seemed to really enjoy but we didn't try it. They have lots of outdoor seating and a really nice outdoor patio with plants, a cool tap handle fountain, and a game of bags available to play. There was good music playing outside, only a handful of people, and good beer - made for a very chill Sunday afternoon. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Naples. read more
