We had a server and her trainee come over to take our drink orders. I got one of their house beers and the rest of the party got sodas/waters. After scanning the menu we had our orders in mind, but our servers were nowhere in sight. After about 10-15 minutes, they came back with the drinks and took our orders. We werent super hungry, so we ordered an app and a couple dishes. The large soft pretzel with cheese sauce, their cuban sandwich and some pasta for the kids. The food took another 20+ minutes to come out but lets run down the list. Lets start with the app, the pretzel. Came out and it was stale. It was luke warm, undersalted and the cheese sauce tasted like watered down cheese from a can. As a BIG fan of pretzels, this one was a big letdown. Entree wise, the pasta and the cuban, also let downs. The pasta was stiff. Not Al Dente, stiff as in undercooked and oversauced. The Cuban sandwich looked good coming out, but after ONE bite I knew it wasnt going to be good. I dont want to say the meat was bad or sour, but after three attempts, I was done and didnt want any more. There was another large gap in server visits to ask if we needed another beer or any refills so I made every effort to flag down our waitresses so we could get the check and get out of there. Food took an unusually long time to arrive, and when it finally did, the quality was mediocre at best. Unfortunately, the overall experience was frustrating from start to finish. Based on the poor service, small portions, and subpar food quality, I will not be returning.
