Gumbo Limbo is still one of my favorite spots! The staff is always so nice and the food is incredible! [[HIGHLIGHT]]You couldn't find a more relaxing place for lunch![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We go and play corn hole on the beach till our tables ready![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great place to see the sunset.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is decent for a beach bar, granted it is a Ritz Carlton beach bar. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service is efficient and the atmosphere wonderful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We saw a wedding at the beach when we were there. Plan to have a wait, since there are no reservations. Sunset hours are very busy.

Yelena was our beachside attendant. She was sonic bribe. Attention to details. Gave great recommendation. She was thoughtful and prompt and courteous. Totally enjoyed the coconut shrimp and the drinks. We're pricey but generous. Try the creme brûlée and key line porn

I fell in love with the Four Seasons... I research. I bookmark. I then thibk about places that stand out. I visit and then some places just stick with me. Gumbo Limbo is a memorable place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]First and foremost the Four Seasons Naples is beautiful!! The grounds make you feel like you are in Hawaii.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] To get to Gumbo Limbo you do get to walk through the hotel and get an opportunity to really take it in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Gumbo Limbo is an upscale tiki restaurant on the water. Think full ocean view. Little sharks jumping at dusk. People walking at sunset along the beach and then when it got dark the tiki torches were lit. Stunning view.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was top notch. Metal water cups? Fancy (you can take them home and i did!) Keeps the water colder longer. A basic menu but absolutely no complaints. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is chill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would HIGHLY suggest visiting for the view but take the tine to fall in love with the Four Seasons (my friends even said the place smelt amazing!)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Best dining experience ever! My husband and I were staying at the Ritz for our anniversary and we decided to stay on property and have our celebratory dinner right by the ocean at The Gumbo Limbo during sunset. We were greeted and sat immediately. Miranda was our server and she was outstanding! Very attentive to our needs and made wonderful recommendations for our meal. My husband and I, each got an appetizer and an entree. I ordered the coconut shrimp and the grouper sandwich (fresh catch) and my husband ordered the southwest salad (1/2 portion recommended by Miranda) and the Cheeseburger. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were delicious! We ordered the key lime pie for dessert and it had the perfect tart to sweet ratio. Miranda informed us that they were taking care of the dessert which was a pleasant surprise, but it doesn't stop there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Right before the sunset we were approached by a hostess, who told us the have a tradition of ringing a bell on the dock and we were selected to do so![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was such a cool and unexpected experience. After we rang the bell, we received a miniature version of the bell as a gift to take home with us as a memorial token. Every little detail made a very large impact on our entire evening. This was so memorable for us and we are forever grateful! Thank you to Miranda and the Ritz team for going out of the way to make this night great!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The view here is absolutely beautiful[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the customer service was insanely good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is a little tight, but honestly that's understandable given the location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It doesn't take away from the experience at all. If anything, it just shows how popular the place is.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I do think a couple more bathrooms would help, but again, I get that space is limited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was amazing. Even though the place was very busy, he was quick, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, which made the experience even better. The food was great too. The burger was delicious, the salad was fresh and perfectly done, and the steak was flavorful and grilled just right. Overall, an amazing experience... easy five stars.

Overall, I would say the food is decent. We had chips, salsa and guacamole, and the salsa was definitely very tomato heavy. My Fiancé got the grouper sandwich which he said was good but definitely not the best that he had. The bread was cooked well and had a nice toast to it. The service was good for sure, but the wait was definitely longer than they quoted us so just keep that in mind you may have to wait longer than you're told. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would say the main reason to come here would be the sunset with a cocktail.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The cocktails were definitely very good and the view was absolutely amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A beautiful spot to enjoy the sunset, drink I. Hand looking out at the waves crashing on the beach ![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We both got the grouper sandwich with fries. *ask for no salt when you order because I had to wipe off every single French fry before I ate it. They were SO SALTY ! The grouper sandwich was good. It comes with banana pepper " slaw " which there was no slaw at all. It's just banana peppers and some green peppers. I don't care for either , so I took those off. I asked for a side of their tartar sauce because the sandwich was a little dry. There's tartar sauce is delicious. If I find myself back here again, I would get the grouper sandwich with just lettuce and tomato and tartar sauce. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a casual beautiful spot if you want to be outside with an ocean view.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Beachfront open air bar and grill dining with exceptional service![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can't get better than that! Our food was really tasty and I just can't give enough praise for the amazing and friendly service. Our food was fresh and flavorful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very easygoing vibe and super casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely recommend!

Yummy!!! Everyone was so nice. Service was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love that it was on the beach.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything we eat was delicious!!! The only thing I would change is the fish sandwich have some sauce with it because it was a little dry and also cut up the fish for the taco They just give you a big piece of fish with a tortilla shell. I'll definitely come back!'

Nice spot, food is tasty but a little expensive but what can you say we're at the Ritz! Service is SO friendly that was awesome. The real perk of this spot is the outdoor seatinf which is perfect for catching the sunset! Loved it.

The food and drinks and gumbo limbo are great! One of the best pina coladas I've ever had! Tasted real and not like all the artificial slushie crap. They have recyclable tin cups so you can order and bring drinks down on the beach. The boxes for the food are also compostable too! We brought our food and drinks to beach. The salmon blt was very tasty, the piece of salmon was very big! The side salad was super fresh and plentiful. The Caesar salad has a delicious dressing that tastes homemade! It also has sundried tomatoes in it and really tasty croutons with shredded cheese. They also have a kids menu which is convenient. Prices are a bit high but that's to be expected at the Ritz and on the beach. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be back when visiting Vanderbilt Beach!

Excellent service (thanks Alex)!!! Birman is a wonderful drink. Catch of the day was grouper so I had the fish tacos, ordered it blackened. Sooo good. Was a chilly day but the heaters work great. Can't beat the view!

The menu offered plenty of choices, so it took us a while to decide. We ordered a full rack of ribs, Florida Cobb salad, bone-in pork chop, grilled fish special, and other entrées. Each meal came with sides such as smashed sweet potatoes, crock pot beans, and steamed broccoli. The portions were generous, and everything was flavorful. The only disappointment was with my bone-in pork chop. Somehow, my order never made it to the kitchen. Once the mistake was discovered, the kitchen prepared it quickly, and it arrived exactly five minutes later. Unfortunately, it was raw in the center. I was told that the pork chop is normally served slightly pink, but this was clearly undercooked. I wish I had taken a photo. The kitchen promptly took it back and returned it properly cooked. Despite this mishap, the staff handled the situation professionally, and the overall service was good. The food was delicious, the portions were excellent, and I would consider returning, hoping this was just an isolated kitchen error.

Seated at 730, drink order wasn't taken until 744, and this became a theme for the night. Drinks came a while later. Bread was provided after the drinks--but we had been seated well over 25 minutes now. Order was not taken for over 30 minutes. Appetizers came out relatively quickly and were good (4/5). The tomatoes were green house tomatoes though which really bugged me for southern Florida and the price point. Just plain greedy prices for Sysco food service quality ingredients. Entrees came about 90 minutes after we were seated. Wife and I had to do some serious damage control with the kids, but we brought them so that's on us. The entrees were good, but marked up considerably. I suspect they prey on tourists like us and just charge high in hopes of the perceived quality. My steak was very good I'll admit. But I filled up on the table bread because it all took so dang long. Also it was a limited menu--maybe because of Easter? But with limited options the kitchens job should be streamlined a lot better to avoid such a long wait time for the food. Started this review with a 4 star rating, as I thought about it, I downgraded it to a 3 due to high cost, mediocre waiter service and very slow food service. Fast forward a year later and our dining group meets there again. This time I arrive early and go straight to the bar so that I can verify the happy hour policy. The bartender confirms that martinis are not on happy hour then explains that the additional surcharge is because a Cosmo has a splash of cranberry juice, so it's martini price plus. Never heard this before. I cheaped out and ordered a house pinot grigio. Regarding food, the visit a year ago was profoundly disappointing. That entree was described as pasta with a lobster tail. I expected to see a lobster tail but there were just a couple of very tiny pieces of supposed lobster tail that must have come from a just hatched lobster. -- A Rooftop Gem Where You Feel Like Family…read more I'll be upfront -- I have social anxiety, and crowds can be genuinely overwhelming for me. My first evening up at Tigress's rooftop, I walked into a packed house with no reservation, and it was simply too much. Rather than give up, I called the restaurant shortly before close and asked about reserving a table for the following night. Just one person. What happened next genuinely surprised me. They were absolutely fabulous. Not only did they accommodate me without hesitation, they reserved me a spot in the bar area and had it ready the moment I arrived. The second I stepped off that elevator, I was greeted by name, welcomed warmly, and made to feel like I belonged there. It wasn't a restaurant experience -- it was a Cheers experience. You know the show. That's exactly what it felt like. Service was prompt and attentive from the start. My drink order was taken and delivered quickly, and when I asked for a menu recommendation, the staff guided me toward their signature crab fried rice -- and I am so glad they did. This dish is unlike anything I've had at any Thai restaurant, and I've had crab fried rice at quite a few. The blend of ingredients Tigress uses is truly special. Every element comes together in a way that feels almost magical. Worth every single penny. I've seen a few complaints about pricing, but when you consider the quality of ingredients that must go into this dish and the skill required to execute it -- the price is more than fair. Sincere applause to the entire staff for their grace and kindness. A standing ovation to the chef on duty that evening, and deep gratitude to the executive chef who curated this menu. And special recognition to the bar team -- their craft cocktails are clearly designed to complement the food beautifully. I will absolutely be back. Tigress has earned a loyal guest.

My first course a Caesar salad had some brown romaine, so I returned it though it had great flavors, but wasn't wanting to wait for a new fresh one to be made, so they took it off the bill and insisted on an immediate complimentary beet salad replacement which I took them up on. The beets and cheese part was awesome. I didn't mention it to them, but I used to be an executive chef of high end white table cloth restaurants years ago all over the SE including New Orleans, Atlanta, Tampa, so I was very impressed with their wanting to make us all extremely happy and make up for the salad mistake. The flavors in the Tuna Tare Tare, Shrimp Ceviche was incredible, and my Lamb Shank had some of the best spices I have ever tasted in a shank. Then the owner insisted on a comp baklava dessert for our mother's birthday and it was a very unique original flambe' presentation. Most of the places I was a chef at, the servers had to do old school tableside caesar with the egg yolk, dinner like Steak Diane, dessert and flambe' drinks and I realized how rare that this is these days.
