We got work drinks here to kick off a conference, and it was the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful sunset. The drinks were solid and not overly sweet despite being fruity! Service was fine. Incredible views and beautiful ambiance simply because you have front seats to a gorgeous ocean sunset. Wow! Service is friendly - including the hosts and waiters who will snap pics of you and your group with the beautiful views behind you It was a bit chilly and they had heaters going which was very helpful My advice? Come here for drinks and at most a snack. Then eat elsewhere if you want better food. The menu is very standard, all American and not well executed at that (the lobster quesadilla was fine while the wings were quite breaded and dry). The setting is unmatched. 5 pm and the sun is low on the Gulf shimmering over the water. The music plays in the background and is not intrusive. Matthew came to find us at the bar to escort us to our shaded table. Aaron was our waiter, he was polite and attentive... he delivered flawless service you would expect at a Ritz Carlton resort. Atmosphere and service without question five out of five stars. Food was uninspired but fresh. We ordered the Sunday Savory Special. Tuna tostadas. Skip it. Flavorless yet fresh tuna with crispy slaw on a stale tostada. No zip or spunk in this dish. I gave my 2nd tostada to my husband who was happy to polish it off. Next up coconut shrimp. Perfectly fried but also flavorless. The dipping sauce needed spice. We ate them all. Chicken wings were our last attempt at food. The celery was crisp. The blue cheese dressing was pleasant and mild. The wings were in a nice tangy sauce and they were crisp on the outside and still juicy on the inside. Why do they serve the 'drumette' portion of the wing? I like the flat section too. On a sunny beautiful day, it is the best spot in Naples. Go for the great drinks and amazing service. Awful management. Super rude to customers and also seemed like the wait staff was scared of them. Was pretty surprised to be treated that way given I was a hotel guest. For what you pay to stay at the Ritz, I would expect basic kindness at a minimum. This place is located on the beach at the Ritz-Carlton. It's a great setting as you can see from the pics, especially if you're having dinner there during sunset. Currently, they have a very, very limited menu during Covid times. It's typically not an expansive menu anyway and although the options are limited there are still enough items to satisfy most palates. We began with the coconut shrimp appetizer, which was good but not worth the $20 it cost for 5 shrimp. We then both got their grouper sandwich. This was a fresh cut of grouper, nothing pre-made here, i'm guessing it was a 4 to 5 ounce portion and I got mine grilled and lightly blackened. It was very good, the mango slaw complemented it perfectly. Still, this sandwich alone was $32! Definitely, not worth the price. In the end, one shared appetizer, two grouper sandwiches (which come with a side) and one beer each brought a total bill with tax and tip to $126!! As I said earlier, the setting is fantastic and you've got to be OK with paying for the setting as part of your bill because the food certainly does not warrant the prices that they charge. We have been here 3 times in 3 days. It could be the convience of staying at the ritz where it is located but it's likely because we enjoy the food and scenery so much! It's definitely overpriced and pricey for some things but again it's located at the ritz. The first time I was here I shared the chips, salsa, and quac. Very good flavor for all. I ordered the lobster quesadilla which was very good as well. The next day I got the fried chicken sandwich which I also enjoyed... they had a ton of pickles on it! So good. I got the side salad with ranch as my side. Their ranch is tasty if that's important to you! The last thing I ate was their gumbo salad. Very flavorful and crunchy mix! All of their drinks have been wonderful... the mojito probably my fave since they don't use simple syrup it's not so sweet which I like. Had a terrible experience with them last night. We arrived at 6.05 and was told the wait for our party of 8 would be about 45 minutes. No problem right, its a beautiful night. We grab some drinks from the bar and wait on the boardwalk in front of the hostess stand until about 50 minutes go by. Don't want to bother the hostess but figured I'd check up on progress. The condescending hostess in control of the process proceeds to claim we were called and didn't answer so they bumped us. I check my phone and have no missed calls or text messages from them and showed that to her. I then had her call me to see if she had the wrong number... what do you know, it works. So whats the remedy she comes up with... "well, we'll put you back on the list but there is another table in front of you now". Since I was there with family I didn't escalate things and accepted that it would likely be a few more minutes wait.... 45 minutes later the same hostess approaches us with an amazing offer to compensate us for the at this point 90 minutes of waiting... someone in our party, WOULD GET TO RING THE BELL!... no, the reward wasn't a table... but gosh, we get to ring the sunset bell. Sunset hits, one of the kids rings the bell, then we are told the table is almost ready, say no thanks and proceeded to the italian restaurant on property and had a great dinner. So, my message to anyone going to Gumbo Limbo... don't depend on the hostess call system to actually work. Hover by the hostess stand, remind them every 5 minutes that you are there, continuously ask them where you are in the wait process. Remind them again that you are there. Do not depend on them to work the system properly, or more importantly, to fix things when the mess it up. Ending with a positive note, the bartenders were awesome. The wings here are excellent! The shrimp was alright. Nice view, open air so no air which means prepare yourself to be hot. I found the drinks to be very boozy which isn't my choice but the frozen lemonade was pretty good. read more

This is a terrific beach bar with amazing service. About everything we had was enjoyable. Nice they have a service line at bar that makes grabbing a drink easy if you don't have a table. Get on list early for a table and enjoy one of the best sunsets you will ever see. This is one of the best beach bars you will ever go to. read more

My recommendation is to try to get this next corner before sunset, you'll definitely love it!   You'll experience very chill and relaxing vibes right next to the beach, where you can sit and enjoy the show that Mother Nature puts on for you, while you refresh yourself with a "man-made" drink! And just because it's so HOT a frozen drink goes very well with the whole package deal... trust me!   Attention is great, drinks are delicious, and if you get to walk along the beach before sunset, you'll have an amazing experience. FANTASTIC! We went here for dinner tonight and we were so amazed by their menu! So delicious! The only thing I hated was that they charged a lot of extra money for protein in your salad? I understand like an extra $5 or $8 but this was like $20! I'm still rating this 5 stars because there are other things on the menu that are amazing and that are more affordable. One of my favorite places for lunch in Naples! Valet Park at the Ritz and it's free if you go to their restaurant. A beautiful setting, and our server was phenomenal! The views of Pelican Bay are incredible and the atmosphere is incredible upbeat and lively. The mango daiquiri, mudslides, and margs were all fastballs right in my beach vibe wheelhouse. Read previous reviews mentioning them closing to guests not staying at the resort, so I called in advance to make sure it wasn't an issue. I was told it would be fine, so as we were passing through Naples we stopped for what we thought would be a great dinner on the beach and at the Ritz. Sadly, we arrived and were told at the gate Gumbo Limbo was closed to non-resort guests. At the host stand I explained the dilemma and was again told they can't help non-resort guests nonetheless. We then tried Nolita, another restaurant on site, but were told they too couldn't accommodate non-resort guests. The Ritz is feeling like a massive, overrun, understaffed, mess, which is sad considering everything the brand is meant to represent - luxury and unparalleled customer service. Beautiful view but not great food / service. We got some appetisers to share which were quite good but none of us were impressed with our mains. I got the fish tacos and I had to put them together myself with minimal toppings which mean there was little flavour, and it cost $36. My friends got the chicken sandwich and they said it was dry and not tasty, we also got the regular burger and the bean burger and they didn't have complaints To share we got the shrimp and chips and dip which were good For what we got we just weren't impressed and the price point was too high. One of my favorite places to sit back, enjoy a cocktail with a great view. If you can, get a seat at the bar- they have the best views of the Gulf. The lunch options are a bit pricey, but you are at the Ritz. My go-to is the caesar salad with grilled shrimp...simple dish but the shrimp is prepared very well. The cocktails are very good, but my favorite is the Palermo. The lunch rush gets busy so if you are there during busy season and around Noon, you should expect to wait - but it's worth it! The bar stretches across and is parallel to the beach. The sunset from the bar can't be beat. At sunset, all the tiki torches light up which adds to the ambiance. It is part of the Ritz, but open to the public, with access from the beach. Definitely make time to stop there to witness the sunset! read more

One of my favorite places to eat in Naples! I always appreciate the ritz Carlton service, it is top notch every time! The hotel itself is beautiful but once you go out back to head towards the restaurant you will feel like you're in paradise! Each table has a view of the ocean as the restaurant is facing the gulf, only steps away! You can even walk up and be served coming straight from the beach. It's always good vibes and the food and drinks are delicious! I've eaten here for lunch and several times for dinner. Excellent staff, service was so great and super friendly!! Took the kids in on a random Monday and the kids menu worked well with good food. Grilled cheese and chicken tenders with fries for my kids. We got the Mahi Mahi which was good, the lobster quesadilla was excellent!! Drinks were great. By far the best place to watch sunsets and family photos. Tables outside were comfy. No parking found and had to use the hotel service, not bad, just need cash for tipping. read more
